Bouquet Restaurant and Wine Bar, located in the heart of Mainstrasse Village in Covington, opened its doors in the fall of 2007 under the ownership of Chef Stephen Williams. Bouquet offers the unique experience of fine dining in a cozy and intimate atmosphere, serving a seasonal menu of contemporary American cuisine, which features fresh and locally grown ingredients. Recently presented with an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine, we have an extensive list of over 200 wines from around the globe. "Ate here on a Saturday night at 5:00 so was not too busy yet. Small restaurant with outside tables. Reservations a must - do not wait 'til last minute or you will never get in at a decent time. Service was good. Menu choices were very good. I am a vegetarian and husband is not and we both had plenty to choose from. Only thing was I felt all my dishes were a bit on the salty side. I had the beet salad, the quinoa and the cauliflower salad and by the time I was done I felt "salted out". The desserts were very good. I had the pecan coffee cake and my husband had the apple pie in a jar. The decor is very simple, clean."

"Most everything on the menu was gluten-free including a flatbread. Everything we had was wonderful. It is so nice to go to a place that offers much more than a steak that is gluten free. This is our second experience and both have been a treat."

"Enjoyed dinner thoroughly at Bouquet. Started with both Sweet Potato Flatbread and the Cauliflower Salad. Both were excellent, with the flatbread being one of the best I've ever had.
I had the Yellowtail Jack entree, and it was thick, delicious, very well prepared.
Wine list has many by the glass choices. There was flight of three Rose selections that were all very good. The prices on the wine list were quite good, with a range of good wines at a reasonable bottle cost."

"We enjoyed a memorable meal at Banquet. Very nice combinations of tastes in all items. The cheese plate had 4 kinds of cheeses, two goat and 2 cow, as well as a plum sauce and a pistachio pesto. I also had the mizuna salad and a paddlefish special which was made with all locally caught and grown ingredients. Presentation of all items was elegant. I was grateful for the quiet ambiance. I was visiting from out of town, but plan to go again the next time I am in town."

"We went to Bouquet to celebrate my husband’s birthday over the weekend. It was a good experience overall minus a few minor annoyances. The service was slow. We weren’t in a rush at all but our meal start to finish took over 2 hours for just the two of us. Though we were seated promptly, given menus immediately and even put in our wine order quickly. 20 minutes later and we were wondering where our bottle of wine was. Their wine selection is pretty good either by the glass or by the bottle. There are some interesting choices with a range of prices which is always appealing to me. We were pleased with the wine. "Such an interesting menu, especially on the "small plates" side -- hard to know what to order. I loved my cauliflower salad starter; it was light but very tasty. The wines, including by the glass, are well-chosen and unusual, quite an adventurous list. Dessert also was a highlight. Bouquet really is one of metro Cincinnati's best, maybe top 10 in the area. Only downside: way too noisy!"

"This is one of our favorite places in Covington. Right on Main Street! Little restaurant with Amazing food!! We visit Bouquet every 2 weeks or so. We have just stopped in for wine or random dinners. "I love this restaurant and am blessed that I live right around the corner. The small, seasonally inspired menu lets the restaurant actually purchase top-notch ingredients and the dishes are inspired and creative. "Bouquet was more than could be expected from any reviews I had read online. The food was absolutely, incredibly, amazingly, phenomenal!!! Service was literally second to none. Our server (Dustin) knew the menu like the back of his hand and his suggestions and our surprise appetizer fit perfectly into our appetite. We requested to speak to the Chef/Owner to praise him and he gladly came out and spent more than ten minutes chatting with us. Great guy! We personally chose to go wine shopping beforehand as a fun part of our date, but they have plenty to choose from in house. Bouquet gets a 10/10 from us. We will be returning to try the rest of the menu very soon."

"2nd visit. Bouquet chef is very imaginative. Complex flavors not what you expect. Quantity of food is very good. Fish cooked as it is supposed to be (med rare). Ask if you want it med or higher. Try the apple pie in a jar. Restaurant and rest rooms always clean. A rare gem."

"The food in general was outstanding as was the wine list. The ambiance was warm and cozy. The service was excellent until they became busy. We waited way to long for our entree after getting our starter. I will definitely be back for the food. Way too many items on the menu that I want to try!"

"This was one of the best dining experiences we have had in some time. The menu is creative, exceptionally flavorful, and reasonably priced. The wine list was sufficiently varied and comprehensive. The initial drink service was a bit slow, but the meal service was very good. There is always a need to balance prompt service with a desirable "slow food" pace. We highly recommend it and will go back again."

"A lot of effort has been made to compose unique dishes (rabbit ravioli, sausage with egg and grits.) The pork chop was huge, lean and a perfect piece of meat to do something great with - however is was only lightly browned and left plain, was expecting more. "The server was mindful of the fact that we were vegetarians and gave us menu options accordingly. He also made sure there was a space heater near us because we were seated next to the door. The food had really fresh ingredients and healthy options. It was very flavorful and plated well so compliments to the chef! Even though it is a small restaurant it has a good ambience with a laid back bar feel as well as cozy romantic appeal."

"As always, the food and service were amazing. Only suggestion I would make is to get the staff more information about food and wine pairings. Our server was great but she didn't have much knowledge about the wine list. I know some of the staff is new and it takes a while to get everyone up to speed. Certain that by our next visit this will be accomplished. The chef's imaginative use of ingredients makes it one of our favorite spots for a night out."

"The ambiance and service were outstanding. Our server was very attentive. He explained the specials and described the French wine flight special, which my spouse and I both enjoyed.
