"We had a great dinner with an awesome selection of creative cocktails! My only complaint would be the condition of the Men's washroom. My first visit there it was in terrible shape with paper towels all over the floor, no paper towels to dry my hands nor was there any soap left in the dispenser! I advised my server and it was looked after."

"Bymark is a place we had heard about from numerous friends and decided to try it for our anniversary. We were not disappointed!
The food was incredible and the house wine was fantastic. Service was great and our server made us feel right at home. The pricing was what we expected to spend and the portions were exactly what we needed.
We would definitely go back here!"

"Try the Grilled Octopus and Clams, I was pleasantly surprised how well the unusual combination works so perfectly together. The service was only very good as they did not pay much attention to the fact that we were in a bit of a rush, that brought the overall down slightly."

"Really amazing restaurant! I wasn't expecting such an experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is the decor and ambiance beautiful, but the service and food are to match. The staff at Bymark are top notch; non invasive and very friendly. The food was mouthwatering. I would gladly pay those prices for food of that quality with that type of service. And to top off the night, the manager gave my friend and I a complimentary dessert! Great experience, I will be going back there very soon."

"We found that the service was very slow and inadequate. ie. waited 15 minutes or more after arriving...then waited again after ordering drinks...the restaurant was almost empty for a Saturday night, so we couldn't see the problem. Bread was delivered, but no butter. Our server was trying to cover most of the restaurant, and didn't bother to give us the daily specials...(as she did with later arrivals). Food was ok, but not at the $$$ level expected. Ambience was rather antiseptic....ie. no art work, music or romantic corners to set the mood. They did have table candles however. All surfaces are hard, and reflect sound too much...a loud group of 5 were finishing up near us, and rendered conversation impossible until they left."

"I was there for mt husband's birthday.
I recommend the shellfish platter- delish! It comes with lobster salad, 2 kinds of oysters, claims, ceviche, jumbo shrimps and tuna tartare...this platter was the highlight.

My husband's ($35) burger was amazing, but it was also a very expensive burger...

My steak was cooked perfectly..which is surprising because this isnt a steak house."

"The FOOD was surreal and just what was needed for our first real date since becoming parents - the place was grown up, the cocktails were divine, the atmosphere intimate but cosmopolitan. My husband enjoyed his $35 burger and said he could do it at least once a month! My steak was perfection and the sashimi just melted in the mouth. Glad we didn't over so it with lots of appetizers though they all sounded amazing and for dessert - just get the doughnuts!"

"Had the street burger - excellent! One of the best burgers I've ever had (the grilled red peppers were flavourful and sweet)! Service was excellent. Our server was well informed and attentive but did not unnecessarily hover around the table. "I was out with a beautiful date. We were dressed accordingly, ordered well and respectful. Our waiter did nothing wrong, however I did not like his detached attitude and disrespectful undertones. I got the impression he was trying to debasing me with subtle undertones to my date.

That being said, we found it amusing but now that it’s a week later and I still have it on my mind. I guess it wasn't as funny as we originally though.

My intention was to submit this privately however there is a character limitation in the "add a private note" section."

"This was my first time dinning at Bymark. Originally I tried for Valentine's day but was fully booked, instead, we opted for the Friday. Glad I did, as it may have been to crowded for my liking. If I can make one negative comment - the tables are too close together along the walls, can hear everyone's conversation and certainly would not want others hearing mine. Having said that we were seated at a table for four, only two of us, nice and relaxing..
The Restaurant was lovely, nice warm ambience, just the right amount of lighting to make it romantic. Service, polite, courteous and friendly.
The food was excellent, my husband said BEST Steak he's had, done just the way he likes it!! Are we coming back absolutely!"
