"We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. The food was very pricy and mediocre at best. The view is beautiful and the service was good. We probably won't go back though. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area with the same view but better food for the same price."

"The prices have gone up considerably and the portions have gotten smaller. It's actually a good thing about the portions because it's so much food, but that doesn't justify the cost spike. We also sat upstairs for the first time and while the view is just as spectacular, the furniture is really shabby. It was a surprise that it was so outdated. Nevertheless, the food was delicious! It's always a pleasant surprise when the special is Virginia Spots because they are oh so delicious."

"Food was good, but nothing to write home about. The prices are steep for the lackluster items, BUT there are a lot if items to choose from and you get quite a bit of food! (Soup, salad and a side with every entree!) Nothing I ate was "bad" though, and I actually really liked the French onion soup.Our server, Charlotte was very sweet and attentive. While there are definitely better places to eat in Pittsburgh (food and menu wise) the great view and service still make this a recommendation for people.I'm glad that I at least tried it!"

"The service and ambiance were very good. I ordered the special, "Virginia Spots", which I thought was very good. However, my husband thought his strip steak was horrible...a lot of fat and very little taste. Not sure when we will be returning to this restaurant."

"Met a couple who had gotten a drink at the bar and we all went to our table. It took almost 10 minutes to have the server ask our drink order. Mushroom appetizer was very small, but good; however the zucchini was over done. The steaks were done to order which was surprising considering how thin they were. The baked potatoes were very over done and dry. Asked for a particular, popular scotch and was told they were out.
It used to be a wonderful restaurant, but somehow it all seemed to change a year or two ago. The view is still wonderful, but unless you are willing to overpay for poor food just to have the view, I would not go."

"Nice view but that is all it has going for it. Had reservations at 7:30 only to find when I got there was 1.5 hr wait. Grant it this was Valentines day but why take reservations if you are not going to honor them? Place needs updated and food is average but not worth the price. The view is good but can find that at other restuarants at Mt. Washington."

"I would not know about any of these. My girlfriend and I had a reservation at 8 PM on February 14, 2013. We left at 9:10 PM without being seated. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There were also several other couples who had reservations at 8 PM who were not seated either. I wrote the Georgetown Inn an email displaying my displeasure. I got back in return we are sorry, we were not anticipating people dining for that long and we hope to see you again. It was Valentne's day, you didn't anticipate people dining for that long!?. Poor lack of mangement skills and knowledge."

"Though we made a reservation and there were window seats when we got there on time, the waiter still refused to lead us to the window seats, saying the seat was reserved. The view at night was great, though. Food was fair and expensive. Waiter wasn't very attentive. Will consider other restaurants nearby next time."
