Dressler's is an upscale contemporary restaurant with patio dining, featuring a menu of steak, imaginative seafood, and creative appetizers paired with an extensive wine list and full service bar specializing in martini's, ports, and single malt scotches.
Dressler’s has a close-knit group of managers who have worked together for many years. Chef Scott Hollingsworth,Managers-John Glenn and Johnathan Williford, and Bar Manager Kevin McNamara have worked with owner Jon Dressler for 17 years combined. "We had a good time on Saturday night. I made my reservation on line and followed it with a phone call few minutes later. They had already received my reservation. Even though we were 15mins late because of the rain, we were ushered to our table within 5mins. The waiter was nice. The food was very good. My wife loved the appetizer, the Calamari."

"From start to finish our evening was great. I was extremely impressed by the owner, Jon Dressler, and the fact that he works the floor and ensures that each guest is having an enjoyable experience. As a customer, I have noticed that the successful restaurants are the one's at which the owner is actively engaging with the customer. It makes a big difference.

"Overall our dining experience was just OK and we expect more from a high-end dining experience. The crab dip had a slight fishy taste to it and my lobster was overcooked and dry. The halibut and calamari were well prepared so I will give kudos there. Unfortunately our server was a little too new. He poured the champagne glass too full (about 1/2 inch from top) messed up my dessert order, and he didn't know the details of the specials as well as the server next to him. (We had her before. She is very good.) He was very nice but just not up to a $150 for two dining experience."

"I had Just for the Halibut and it was excellent. I would highly recommend and definitely order again. Two in our group had filets, one had crabcakes and one had the bone-in ribeye special. All enjoyed their orders. Three had Caesar salads and two of us shared thai calamari, which was unique and good. We all had dessert, but I must say that the special for the night, peanut butter chocolate chip cheesecake was delicious! Probably the best thing of the evening! We were celebrating our daughter's 19th birthday and it was a great night. Our first time there and great experience. A little noisier than I expected & a crowd of girls outside taking pictures of Nick Jonas dining inside was a little distracting. But overall great time."

"Overall, the experience is good. Their service is actually better than their food. Their menu NEVER changes, and even their specials stay the same (some type of filet , oscar-style). We always know what we are going to eat before we even get there, but I suppose that just shows how much we eat there, so we must like it. It would be nice if they would change up their menu more, at least seasonally, to better accommodate their regulars. We love the service though, and the management, so we do keep going back. Sometimes the chef is "on" and sometimes he is "off". One overlooks this because of the service."

"Our neighborhood favorite when my wife and I want a night out at a restaurant that is reliably excellent, service that does not rush you, food that is well prepared and presented and a place where we feel we are treated well. Manager, John Glen, made even our first visit memorable by going out of the way to show great hospitality. We always bring carrot cake home to enjoy the next day! "This was my first time at Dressler's and I wasn't very impressed. I choose the Seafood and Grits as my entree. It tasted like the shrimp were frozen and the one scallop was rubbery in texture. I expected more grits but instead it was like I ordered a soup. My husband ordered the flat iron streak and it was average. No real flavor. For the price of our meal, I expected a higher quality. I will not be going back."

"I would not valet park cars for people who smoke. We were in our new car and the valet guy parked a car for a smoker and then got our car and his clothes were covered on ciggerate smoke and it carried to our car. It was if he smoked in our car when driving it. We asked him and he does not smoke. It was that bad."

"The food was wonderful! My favorite was the appetizer - Thai Calamari. It was fantastic! The wasabi aioli was the best part. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly - a great cut of meat. My only complaint was that the restaurant was a little noisy making it hard to hear my date at times (but still not terrible!). I would definitely recommend Dressler's! By the way, Mama's desserts are fabulous! We didn't have room left for dessert so we got it to go. Such a yummy treat for the next day!"

"For a special occasion Dressler's will please. The menu is ample without being cluttered and the entrees carefully selected and meticulously prepared. Unless the occasion demands more,a glass of wine is a wise choice. Staff is in evidence everywhere but not intrusive. The atmosphere is one of an upscale eatery with street windows providing an interesting view. The owners are in attendance to assure satisfaction. Free valet parking (tips appreciated) is provided by very polite young men. Prices match the upscale nature of the establishment but are not extravagant. Nonetheless visits should be for special occasions rather than a 'let's do lunch' date. Reservations are a good idea."

"This is the second time I have visited Dresslers. It is by far the BEST restaurant in the area. The food is super great and the service is phenomenal. As soon as I walked in the door,I was greated and treated like a celebrity! I could sit her and write all day about this restaurant, but you must experience it yourself. "I think if you want basic American upscale dining, Dressler's is the place for you. If you want anything outside of the traditional fare, it is definitely not. My husband had the ribeye with macaroni and cheese. The ribeye was good and the sauce on it was delicious. I had the special which was grouper with risotto. Although the grouper was cooked well, it and the risotto had zero flavor. It was like they forgot to use any salt, seasonings, or acid. I almost sent it back but didn't because the problem wasn't it being over or under done, it was just so bland. On the other hand, we had cheesecake for dessert. It was divine. Not too sweet, creamy, wonderful. The crowd there is late forties early fifties and the decor reflects that."
