"Excellent food and service. Our server offered helpful suggestions, but sometimes got too pushy in attempt to sell more add ons. Ironically, we may have lingered longer with an after dinner drink had he refrained from this."

"We had dinner with friends at Miller Union this past Thursday. Just as we sat down the sky opened up and we watched the generators around the restaurant spark - and all lights went out. However no one on the restaurant staff ever made us believe that created a problem! We had a lovely dinner - mostly on our own and never felt like we needed to leave. The customer service was brilliant! Bravo Miller union team - we'll be back soon!"

"I recently had out of town company so I decided to take them to Miller Union for dinner because I've heard so many excellent things about the restaurant. Every morsel was tasty and my guest from Toronto could not stop talking about the food even hours after we had eaten dinner... It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back."

"Each time we go to Miller Union, it is always so obvious it's 'Farm to Table'. They use the highest quality freshest ingredients that are coming in from the garden that day. For example in the Spring/Summer they used rhubarb in one dish and eggplant in the ravioli. Every single bite of food explodes in your mouth. You know within just a few minutes of being in the restaurant you are in a VERY SPECIAL place. This time even the owner stopped and told us where they get their vegetables. They are extremely picky about every detail and the chef's have some sort of magical powers. Even the butter they use for the bread has some sort of heavenly salt flakes sprinkled on the top. Don't miss this place in your lifetime. It's a very rare gem."

"Well, we need to re-do our "favorite restaurants" list now. Miller Union just shot way up to the top. Wonderful food, great service, perfect noise level. With all of the new -- and mostly good -- restaurants in the area, Miller Union stands head and shoulders above the rest. We'll be back."

"Not only is Miller Union a great farm to table spot, it is a great representation of the evolution of southern food. I had the quail, which was one of the best preparations of the bird I have ever experienced. My wife got the eggplant ravioli, which is entirely hand made. The ricotta cheese (also hand made) was to die for.
Miller Union is a definite must for anyone in Atlanta, or just passing through. As past of the West Midtown scene, it is one of the many new restaurants helping to redefine Atlanta as a foodie capital."

"Don't get me wrong, Miller Union is a very nice restaurant, but the concept, focus on sustainable, local, organic food, is well planted in the Atlanta dining scene. The night my wife and I dined we waited a bit long for our server to take our order, and were overly cold by the A/C vents blowing on us. We enjoyed ur two starters, two entrees and a dessert, with the apparent signature dish, the farm egg in celery cream, being the favorite. My rabbit was a bit underseasoned and the rhubarb tart was sharply sour, but it was all fairly tasty.
The real challenge Miller Union faces is that other restaurant,s perhaps most notably Cakes and Ale, deliver a comprable or superior experience at a lower price. It's a great problem for Atlanta to have!"

"Having seen Miller Union highlighted on Anthony Bourdain's Layover show, I wanted to give it a try with a friend. I'm so glad we went. The food was especially delicious fresh, original and beautifully presented. Everything arrived in a timely manner but we did not feel rushed at all. I have been recommending MU to everyone."

"Miler Union was perfection. We were seated in the front dining room, a space with calm blue walls, a leather banquette and funky wall art including preserved hornet nests and trilobites. Service was prompt and well-informed, helpful with suggestions without being overbearing. We started with the fritters, which were perfectly porky and salty, and the asparagus salad, which was bright and fresh. For entrees, we had the guinea hen and the grilled pork. Both were delicious, but the pork, with crispy grit cakes and peach chutney, truly was the star. Dessert was a perfect close to a terrific meal. The peach shortcake shone with candied ginger and chantilly cream. Miller Union was the best meal we had in Atlanta and is highly recommended."

"This was my first visit, and it did not disappoint. We stuck entirely with first courses, but the entrees looked very good. The farm egg baked in celery cream is deservedly their signature dish, and the "feta snack" was a true delight. The wine list looked all right, but I stuck with the creative and delicious cocktails. I foresee great things to come!"

"Great service where they serve everyone as if they know them. The chef has a way of working with food that is hard to explain. You just have to experience it. Don't pass up on the grits fritters....and I don't even like grits."

Cocktails awesome!!! Miller Thyme wonderful. Bloody Mary excellent.
Food way under-seasoned. Service slow and not attentive. Very disappointing. I was expecting great things based on the reviews, but clearly Miller Union is way overrated.
Will go back to the bar for cocktails, but that's it."

"Last night we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Miller Union and included our 21 year old son because he really appreciates great food. We loved the soup, the oysters and each of our entries; quail, pork tenderloin and fish. The service was excellent and the food was a wonderfully prepared and delicious combination of textures and flavors."

"Whatever Steven Satterfield invents in the kitchen comes out spectacular every time. Seasonal food carefully selected and paired with delicacies not found at your traditional grocer. I always end up getting a rabbit dish, usually a special and not on menu and this last Rabbit Confit was melt in your mouth delicious! As were the Ravioli with nettle and local wild mushrooms. A Walk in the Garden cocktail and a bottle of Rhone were the perfect complements. Perfect place for special celebrations or date night. The staff is always spot on delivering a great experience with personality and smiles to boot!"

"The menu had little to chose from and was overpriced for what it was. The signature egg appetizer was just an egg broken open with burnt bread. When we asked for more bread, we were given one piece. The waiter spilt wine on my foot. We ordered Irish coffee with desert and it was served in a beer glass. I am not sure how they expected us to drink hot coffee out of a glass. I will not be returning."

"disappointing meal on saturday. foodies from chicago were in town and that is where we went. for starters things were luke warm- soup and entrees. maybe it was the fans on the porch, who knows, but a bummer to explain to diners who know better. farm to table needs to look and taste non-fussy and clean. things were a bit of a mess- the components were there- but inspiration did not jell. the chicken dish which became a guinea hen substitution was a prime example. rabbit special entree seemed to be the best pick all night. it felt like the whole place needed another dose of seriousness."

"I had not been to the restaurant before but knew it by reputation, which is well deserved. The food was very fresh and impeccably prepared. The dishes were imaginative, taking such staples as chicken and preparing in an unusual and delicious way. The service was pleasant and professional. At least when we were there (on a Monday night), the crowd was older and affluent, so not sure if there is a younger more vibrant crowd on weekends. All in all, an excellent experience."

"We enjoyed your eatery on the evening before Mother's Day. Novice's to your menu and surroundings, we were pleasantly pleased all around. Angus our server was the epitome of a professional server. Angus is not only handsome and sweet, but totally attentive and knowledgeable and he gave us the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. It felt as if we were his only clients. The atmosphere is minimalist with class & style, very impressive & comfortable. The eclectic farm house feel is both enchanting & cozy yet professional & refined. Now what can I say about the food other than from the wine list to the dessert it was all just perfection on a plate. Classy yet comforting, large portions of tasty treats we left satisfied and quenched."

"We have just moved part-time to Atlanta from Europe and what a find Miller Union is! Atlanta has become a real foodie town and Miller Union greatly contributes to the reputation! The food was outstanding and the service impeccable with a very well-versed waiter who really knew the menu and steered us in the perfect direction! We loved every bite and every moment!"

"Overall the experience was ok, but just that, not great, not bad. Was hoping for better. The service was kinda awkward, the food meh, and our table (read, a two top put in a closet) was very undesirable. This was my first visit, and I'm not sure what will bring me back."
