"Went for a special Valentine's Day meal--I ordered the filet and they way undercooked it. I informed server and she quickly took it back to be cooked more. My spouse was almost completely done with his entire meal by the time they brought it back. I honestly think they forgot.
The food is just OK--nothing special. If you want to go for the atmosphere and somewhere romantic-this is the place.
If you want a great steak and great service--go to Kirby's or Bob's --both in Grapevine."

"This was my second time at Vineyard Steakhouse but my first on a weekend (Friday) night. The ambiance, service and food were exemplary on both of my visits. It was my wife's birthday and we were served a glass of champagne to start and a dessert to end for the occasion which was a very nice touch. I was surprised how quiet this Friday night was given my previous weekday visit for a business dinner and the quality of the experience. Vineyard is not the least expensive in town but the quality is on par with the cost. I look forward to sharing this restaurant in the near future with friends."

"First time trying Vineyard Steakhouse. Was quite disappointed. The service was slow even when the restaurant was not busy. The steaks were terribly under seasoned and not cooked to the requested temperature. The grilled veggies were nothing less than horrible. They had no flavor , no seasoning and were undercooked. The Lava Cake for dessert had hot spots in it as if it were microwaved. Was less then a pleasant experience."

"My husband and I took our 16-yr old son, his girlfriend, and my mother to Vineyards Steakhouse to have a nice meal before the end of spring break. We all had steaks of various kinds and all were cooked perfectly. Its nice to be in a restaurant where you easily hear one another and table spacing is generous. Only negative was our pre-meal drink at Skybar. When we'd visited the Skybar previously, there was an assortment of comfy lounge furniture, which has now been replaced with standard dining tables and chairs, detracting significantly from the ambiance. Overall a very nice experience."

"We went for a good steak. We found an enjoyable menu with nice wines (priced reasonably) delicious appetizers, large, fresh salads (we split one) and steaks cooked as ordered. The servers were all friendly and attentive and went out of there way to make the dining experience perfect. The dining room we sat in did not lend itself to romantic, but an enjoyable dinner made that a minor point."

"One of the best steaks ever -- just great flavor of excellent meat cooked to perfection. We enjoyed everything from appetizer to dessert (best carrot cake ever). Vera, the GM, visited our table twice - we chatted about everything including a shared anniversary date. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and really cared about the restaurant."

"Vineyard has been an enjoyable place to eat in the past, especially as a place to celebrate special occasions. I assumed things would be the same for Valentine's Day, but the restaurant really dropped the ball this time. Reservations were overbooked, and we ended up waiting an hour and 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, without so much as an apology from management. Had my date and I not arranged for vacation time the following day, we likely would have left long before being seated, as many other couples did that night. The food was pretty good, per usual, but the wait staff seemed very hectic and disorganized, likely a side-effect of the failure to manage the expected number of diners."

The food is fantastic and service top notch.
After diner it is nice to walk upstairs and enjoy a drink in the Skybar.
We sit on the little patio and watch the planes come and go from the DFW airport.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for that little place that exceeds expectation and makes the dining experience memorable."

"Enjoyed a lovely Valentine's Day dinner at Vineyard Steakhouse and Skybar. Began the evening with a cocktail at the Skybar - prompt service and good ambiance. We ordered dinner from the special Valentine's Day menu -- and it was delicious! My favorite was the shrimp stuffed with crab ... husband loved the steak (perfectly cooked and very tender and flavorful). Meal was timed perfectly - no rush - the courses served at just the right time. Quiet and romantic evening - with wonderful food.
Only negative: had reservations for 7:30 and we were not seated unti 8:20. Don't know if problem was locating us in Skybar or (earlier) diners staying longer then planned; however could have been handled better."

"This was a dreadful experience all the way around. First,we really miss the 'little extras' they used to do. We have frequented "Vineyard Steakhouse" in the past and absolutely loved it, however the last few times have been progressively worse. The latest experience not good at all. I ordered flowers to be delivered, reservations were in place, but still had to wait for the table and flowers were not there even after I spoke with the front desk to ensure they would be at the table. Service was lacking luster and the food was mere average to poor. We had the filet ordered 'medium', but came to the table 'done' and very dry. The vegetable side dish did not come with the main course and lacked seasoning."

"Since our last visit, 2012, they've cut out the automatic complimentary 1/2 glass of Champagne & Sorbet. That lessens the uniqueness, setting it apart, from other closeby competitors. If you ask, they will bring the 1/2 glass of Champagne. We forgot to ask about sorbet. The filet did not quite meet expectations, but the ribeye was one of the best we've ever had! Great looking deserts, we had the tasty creme brule.Still reccommended."

"There was a relaxed feel in this place. It's not a large venue and the noise was minimal. I definitely would return to try more dishes. We ordered the calamari to start with and the portion is good size and the calamari pieces were big. It's done with a soft batter as opposed to a crunchy one, which my wife and I prefer. For entrees my wife had the scallops and I ordered the medallions. The scallops were great as were the medallions. With that said, I ordered the medallions medium rare and while one was cooked perfect one was a little undercooked. Our waitress was great. She was on top of everything without the feeling she was hovering. Overall, it was a good experience and we will return."
