"Gaetano's has quickly become our favorite original Italian Restaurant. Pasta is made fresh on site, with the exception of the Gluten Free, which my Mother-In-Law needed. She still said it was one of the best meals ever. I had the Raviolli with ricotta and spinach, very, very good. The previous times there I had the gnocchi with Gorgonzola. This is close to becoming one of my favorite dishes anywhere. Service was a little slow this time for some reason, not too bad as my wife's mother and I hadn't caught up in 6 months. So it went fast. Try to save room for the Creme Brûlée. We go to a lot of restaurants and haven't found one that is nearly as good as this recipe."

"We had a very enjoyable dinner. This is a family-owned restaurant. Mom at the reception desk, Dad making sure everyone is happy and two brothers as waiters. An impressive list of specials, recited perfectly. I had the gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce. My husband had the paparradelli with filet mignon tips with marsala sauce. Both were very good. For dessert, I had tiramisu (exceptional) and he had cheesecake (ordinary). We would definitely return."

"I live in Henderson, NV, but this was my first time at this restaurant. My husband and I took my brother there while he was visiting from Cincinnati, OH. I should mention that we are Italian. We were all very impressed with everything from the moment we walked in and the hostess called me by name from my Open Table reservation! The service was great (Carlos was fantastic). The food was amazing! All in all a wonderful experience. We will definitely go back ourselves, and also take future visitors to Gaetano's!"

"Overall everything was good until we received the bill. You are automatically charged a 25% tip on the bill. NO restaurant is going to force me to tip more than the server deserves. And no where is it written that you will be charged this amount. I am a local and I intend to warn people to stay away. We have several other good restaurants, better actually, that do not force you to tip your server at a rate higher than any other restaurant. I WILL NOT be back."

"My wife and I have been dining at Gaetano's since it first opened. The dining experience is consistently excellent. The menu is robust and they rotate specials so you never get tired of the choices. The specials are 'special.' My wife and I haven't ordered off the menu in years because we always choose one of their specials. They always have several to offer. The specials are also unique - from venison to baccala to hand-made pasta and exotic cheeses.
The wait staff are among the best trained, most professional, and most courteous in all of the valley (including those of the top-end resort restaurants). The restaurant is family-run and the owner, his wife, and sons all make you feel like family.

"Had a huge issue at this establishment. We arrived at 6:55 for a 7 p.m. reservation. We were served at 7:35 our appetizers after other diners who had arrived much later than us and ordered later were served. I was very hungry and I was quite frankly upset. I spoke with the owner and explained that I was very displeased with the fact it took 40 minutes to be served a cold plate of antipasto (cold cuts and cheese) while others were served on a priority basis. Owner got very upset with me and argued with me that it was our fault. A simple "I apologize, we'll get you food ASAP" would have been OK. They prioritize the locals. If not local, stay away given the owner's attitude. I will never return. This was my 3rd visit."

"When we made our reservation, we asked for a table next to a wall. In an almost empty restaurant we were seated in the back center of the restaurant where all the waiters passed by--not by a wall. The Calamari appetizer was fishy, we didn't finish it, the waiter did not ask why, we told him anyway and he didn't care! My Butternut squash was covered in so much oil that I could not finish that either. My husband's Chicken Picatta was ok, not great. The owner(?) seemed to like to talk to his regulars, but since we were first-timers and from out of town, were ignored."

"This restaurant has to be the worst Italian food I have ever eaten. Prices are way to expensive and I don't appreciate them charging even more for Valentine's Day. I think we spent over $150 for 2. Absolutely ridiculous. There are so many other options in Las Vegas for could food to spend your money at."

"I was somewhat disappointed with this dining experience. The food was good and the service was very good but there was nothing particularly special about the experience. The bread was terrible and that is usually an indication to me of the rest of the meal and this was the case here. Sorry because I had high hopes."

"Being visitors to the area ourselves and entertaining out of town guests, we decided on Gaetano's for an early Sunday evening dinner (6:30). We were seated promptly and our server was courteous and attentive. The decor was comfortably elegant. The menu provided ample choices. The four of us agreed the food was delicious and well prepared. My dover sole with lemon and capers was excellent. One small complaint was the bread - such good food deserved better. Noise level became a problem towards end of meal as the place was nearly full by the time we left."

"Very good Italian food. Was actually my second choice the night I went but I could not get reservations for my first choice. First time dining here and I will be back for sure. Not too pricey, $20-$45 per plate. The fresh bread which was brought out was great too. We had the Vodka Penne Pasta with chicken and another plate of Osso Buco. Cannoli for desert. Cannoli was freshly made, shell was nice and crispy. They have discounts on their websites as well as the occasional Groupon. It's out in Henderson, a bit out of the way but worth the drive. Servers checked on us numerous times during the meal ensuring all of our needs were met. You will enjoy it."

"As always, a very close and wonderful venue with very delicious, I mean very delicious food, prepared so well and CONSISTENT....NEVER HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE THERE....we always have a great time and Gaetano with his great personality and his son, and wife are so personable...you will want to go back for more.
