"It felt a bit dark and even though there seemed to be plenty of open spots in the brighter, more lively areas, we were seated in the very back of the far room. It felt a little strange to be so off the beaten track."

"My husband and I received a gift certificate here. It is a good distance from our home, but we went on a Friday night. Everyone in this restaurant was smiling and pleasant. Traffic had us a bit late for our reservation but there was no question about whether they would still be able to seat us or not. The food was fantastic -- we had burgers. I highly recommend the MET fries. I know we will be back again."

"We live nearby and always enjoy our meals or just drinks. Sunday brunch menu is a good value, fun too. Outdoor dining is best in the daytime as the sun disappears before dinner at this corner of Legacy Place. We love the burger bar. I get salmon, husband likes beef. Big salads easily serve 3 people. It's a super menu with variety and pleasant staff eager to please."

"The wait staff seemed to outnumber diners by 2-1, which was great as far as getting drinks and food, but they seemed to linger in a group just feet from our table and it felt like I was part of two groups of conversation. We all had burgers and salads which were very good, and the prices were fine, but when the tables around you are empty and the staff seems to be loitering, you kind of get the feeling you're in the wrong place."

"While I appreciated the flexibility and courtesy of the front desk when I changed my reservation time, I'm not eager to go there anytime soon. I'm not a big burger fan and found the menu choices lacking. Great for folks who like burgers. Food came out of the kitchen efficiently. However, I felt rushed when the server came to clear plates and I was still eating. The cheese on my "Manhattan" burger was a bit rubbery. Would recommend "Yard House" (better food) at Legacy Place over Met Bar."

"I tend to meet friends and clients at the Met Bar because of its convenience. Once there, I'm reminded how interesting the menu is. I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. It can be noisy when it's busy, but they do have some quiet corners, if you remember to reserve those tables in advance."

We've been to the MET at Chestnut Hill that seemed to have many other choices... however, maybe either the menu has changed or there are different menus for different locations. Service did not change however - she was attentive at the end as she was from the start. Out meals were okay - nothing extraordinary. Run of the mill type bistro options. If we. "Went with a friend for lunch, she had a salmon burger that was dry and tasteless, I had a hamburger that was just tasteless. To their credit when we said something in response to the waitresses inquiry, "How is everything?", she sent over a manager who apologized and removed the charge for the salmon burger. Good customer relations. I have eaten there before and had a decent meal so I guess I might try it again, but not very eagerly.

"ordered from the brunch menu: pancakes, which came with coffee and biscuit. pancakes were brought out by the back help, the presentation was sub-par....2 flat pancakes on a plate, no fruit, sprig of mint or at least at a minimum....powdered sugar! the biscuit was missing from the order, the guy (not our server) proceeds to bring it out and place it on my plate using his bare hands!!!! ummm no thanks.... I'll pass on the biscuit and anything else that's missing from my order. 3/4 through the pancakes, i found a piece of plastic...all set with the remaining 1/4 of the pancakes. Ordered 2 scrambled eggs as a side, received 2 eggs over-easy....sigh, at least my brunch company was great."

"As was the case last time we dined here, we went for brunch. They do a wonderful brunch, delicious, great options. Our server was sweet and efficient. However, this is the second time we've had a reservation here and the second time we have gotten a host that was just on the tolerable side of awful. We won't hurry back because of that - but instead we're more likely to go to the Met Club in Chestnut Hill, where there's equally wonderful food with much better attention to customer service."
