"There aren't a lot of casual, business-appropriate lunch spots along Yonge St. south of Bloor so O&B is nicely situated to help fill that void. That said, it's loud, so loud that the noise sometimes overwhelms conversation. The food's fine with a pretty good variety to suit most tastes. I would say that items like quiche and salads might be a tad overpriced given that there's nothing really special about them.
Lovely service! Friendly and attentive, not too familiar.
The carafe of sparkling water left at the table is a really nice touch that more restaurants should consider."

"Food was good & arrived quick & hot. We were initially placed by the window tho, under airconditioning & when we asked to move, our waiter said he could do nothing. We discussed with front desk who immediately moved us to an availale booth. Received no thanks or comment from the server when paying our bill. A bit noisy for holding a business discussion. Are unlikely to take out-of-town guests there again."

"Perfect spot for Brunch! Food was delicious, Service was good and the atmoshere is lively yet not to loud. Only complaint was that the hostess tried to seat us next to a table with 3 small children and when I requested another table that was not so close to a family, she told me (with an irriatiated glance) that the other tables were all reserved. I told her that I had made a reservation and and she reluctantly led us to another table that was wide open in a row of tables that never did fill up for the hour that we were there. Not a great opening to an otherwise lovely dining expereince. All other staff were very pleasant. Added bonus is that the parking in the building is reduced for O&B customers ($2 on Sundays). Very convenient."

"The kids and I took my wife for Mother's Day Brunch and I have to say that it was the first time I wasn't totally happy with an O&B dining experience. First of all, the service felt rushed - we were in and out in under an hour when we were looking forward to a more leisurely dining experience. I also found the food to be just OK. The presentation and pairings were a bit on the weird side (I'm an adventurous foodie, but who needs a 1/4 cup of mayo with eggs & lox?) and details were skipped (no butter for the toast?).
This was my first time at this O&B location and I will give them another chance, but this visit didn't win me over."

"Our table ordered a pasta dish and two individual pizzas. Both pizzas were incredibly tough to cut, one being much too well done on the bottom. Although the toppings were excellent, the pizzas came uncut, making it difficult to cut into manageable pieces. When seeing how we were struggling to cut them, they brought steak knives. The fettuccini carbonara was nicely flavoured but without enough sauce so that it was in a clump and the pancetta could not be mixed into the pasta."

"We went to O & B before going to see Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert at the Sony Centre, and were looking for something fun, casual and tasty to start the evening off, which is exactly what we got!! Everything we had was really good, but the veal chop stood out as the winning dish of the evening! We got to sit outside on their patio (which in early May is a treat), and had a great view of all the action at the corner of Yonge and Front.
We'd go back again, and can certainly recommend it!!"

"We were in town for the marathon with two kids and were looking for a nice restaurant near our hotel with a menu that would please everyone. Since we had dinner quite early, it was perfect for us. Good food, friendly and professional service. I would recommend this restaurant to friends. The place is also very good for groups and gets very busy around 6.30. Reservation recommended. It also has a nice terrace if you prefer sitting outside."

Our server was friendly and proactive in urging us to place our orders before a very large group placed theirs, enabling us to minimize our waiting time. Hits on the lunch menu included steak, fish and chips, fish tacos, and gluten-free penne. Mixed review on the macaroni and cheese, which was called "one note."
We were a group of eight, and we were seated at this large banquette: very comfortable, but not the easiest for conversation across the table. You might want to keep that in mind when booking."

I had a burger and my friend had the pizza. Both of our meals were delivered piping hot and quickly. The food is absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and spot on.

"We had dinner on a recent Saturday in April. The food was excellent. We had a salmon hand roll starter which was really very tasty. For main course, I had the tuna tataki which was very, very good. My husband had the veal chop which he said was also very good. My only complaint with the restaurant was the lack of privacy and the noise. We were first sitted in a large row of tables where we would have had neighbours really close to us, so we asked for something a little more private and ended up right by the entrance beside where everyone waits for their tables. So, that was very noisy. All in all, an excellent meal, but with so many great restaurants in Toronto, I probably won't go back because of the lack of privacy."

"After begin seated, our waiter shouted to us from behind the bar. When he came over with the coffees we ordered, he brought cream instead of milk, despite having repeatedly confirmed milk. He apologized and replaced it. He offered his favourite dishes as recommendations, failing to mention the chef's special until we asked. When he described it, he failed to mention that it was an omelette. I ordered it anyway and was happily surprised by the omelette that arrived. My friend had the hash, which was also good but a much heavier meal."

"This was a fin for my wife and I and our grandson. We dined in the bar/lounge and had the Sunday special of roast beef which arrived promptly and temptingly hot. The male waiter was cordial and polite when I asked for a little extra heat on the beef strip. We dined at 5:30 pm on a Sunday following a wonderful concert at Thomson. We appreciated the decor ad the very polite conversation we had with the bar mistress. We would certainly go here again as we await the time to leave for Union Station."

"Was disappointed in 2 things. We ordered a Manhattan that was the smallest drink I have seen, especially for the price. It was half the size of a normal Manhattan. After our meal, we ordered a Latte, however, the Latte comes in a cup the size of a cappuccino.
Other than that, the service was great, and the food was spectacular as always."
