"We enjoyed a delicious and relaxing dinner prior to attending the symphony on Saturday evening. Our seating was at a lovely booth that afforded privacy. The food was incredible and the waitress was delightful. We ordered the steak and frites, and the serving was more than generous...I was stuffed and gladly took the remainder home. The cauliflower dish was incomparable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who inquired. We will definitely be returning."

"The food for the Mother's Day brunch was delicious! However there are two concerns we had: First, I wish they would have identified what each dish on the buffet as it was difficult to figure out at times. Secondly, a 20% tip was added to our check in a group of 3 -- and for a brunch. While we consistently leave a generous tip, we thought this was a bit much for a brunch."

"We went here for Mother's Day brunch & did not realize how expensive it would be! There were 6 of us & our bill was a little over $300! Three adults had a drink each(alcohol). We had 2 kids, but only one qualified for the kids rate. The food was good - a very wide variety of items. But for the price, I've had better. Very nice modern ambiance, but with the hard floor & tall ceilings made it loud & there were a lot of babies there.
I would try dinner though, it might be pretty good!"

"We really enjoyed this. The cheese plate, my god the cheese plate!! SO much cheese! Such good cheese! Such an awesome variety. I can say we have eaten a lot of cheese plates and with every one there is a cheese or two we don't like that much. Which is fine - no fault of any restaurant and we love trying new things. This simply was NOT the case with Braddock. Every one of those darn cheeses was delicious! And there was so much of it! The two of us had plenty of cheese! My meal was delicious, the soup was great. Cocktails were sublime. We will definitely go here again. The hotel also was amazing but I suppose that is not relevant to the restaurant. Good find!"

"I made a reservation with the assumption that the restaurant would have been busy. Upon arrival, it was the exact opposite. Little crowd ... BUT the food was fantastic, the service was amazing and portions were equal to the cost of the meal.

"I've been to Braddock's Brasserie many times and always have a great food experience. Visited twice recently on consecutive nights and while I did not order the marlin special, my friend did and I tasted. It was a first experience with marlin which was tender, flavorful and generously portioned, In fact, the portion was so large that an appetizer is best omitted or shared. I got two 'small plates' for my entree--the pierogies (delish!) and the crab cake with lemon aioli (marvelous light lemon flavor). My favorite was the beet and feta side salad which has a small cake of warm feta and a generous helping of beets. Great for pre-opera or post- matinee theater But reserve even for 5pm dining."

"My daughter and I statyed at the Rennaisance and ate at Braddock's for her eleventh birthday. We had a great waitress and the food was excellent! We got a free appetizer coupon upon check in. In the morning we had the Sunday brunch. The omelet station was very well stocked and the waffles very tasty. It could have had more fruit and some more variety of foods. The buffet was complimentary with our stay. We will definitely be back for dinner!"

"We had reservations through Opentable and the confirmation said that the hotel (where the restaurant is located) validates parking for restaurant guests. When we arrived for our meal, the valet refused to take our car stating that he had been told by management that he was only to take cars for overnight guests, yet our dining companions were able to valet their car less than 5 minutes prior to our arrival. After parking elsewhere, we sat quickly, but then waited 1.5 hours to receive our entrees. The manager came to our table, soon after we sat and ordered, to deliver our drinks, but never came back to check in on us and even after we complained to our waitress about the wait for our food, the manager did not come to our table again."

"We chose Braddock's American Brasserie for dinner before a show that evening. We found the restaurant setting to be very pleasant and affording a great deal of privacy. Service was very good, and we were able to have a lovely dinner with plenty of time to make our show. The food was well prepared and overall we felt it set an excellent tone for our evening."

"My husband and I ate dinner before going to the theatre. The proximity to the theatre was very convenient. The food/service was excellent. This is one of the few restaurants in Pittsburgh where you can get lump meat crab cakes.
Also, we sat in the hotel lobby before going to dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing."

"The food was great. Our server, Katie, was very personable and friendly. The restaurant decor is beautiful. The only negative we had was the winelist. It had some decent choices, but the prices are ridiculous. The bottle of wine we chose was $50. We got that same bottle last fall at a restaurant in Ohio for $28. It must be a PA thing, as we looked at a few other winelists of nearby restaurants and found the same crazy mark-ups. Other than the wine prices, we had a very enjoyable experience at Braddock's."

"The food was very good. I went at lunch time. They had a reasonable spread of choices for the time of day, from soup, salad, and sandwiches, to pasta and entrees. The dessert menu had a lot of variety and the dessert I got (pretzels) was very good. The waitress was attentive at the start, but by the end, we had to find her to be able to order dessert and pay the bill. It may have been because the restaurant was not busy."

"Restaurant food was average at best; service was friendly and prompt. The "open air" restaurant feel was fine if seated in the back of the dining room. During breakfast the following morning, the lobby is very drafty and cold, due to the weather and temps outside. At breakfast, we were cold, as we had been seated near the front of the restaurant."

"Just when I thought the food couldn't get any better, some new appetizers came up on this visit. The one we chose was called Pacu(not sure of spelling) it was a fish from the Amazon made up to look like ribs!!! It was FANTASTIC!!! Many thanks to the chef and our server for suggesting it!!! I gave the Amish chicken a try this time and let me just say, WOW was that a lot of chicken!!! My partner was enthralled with his crabcakes so much that he did NOT want to share, lol. The cheesecake creme' brule' was TO DIE FOR!!! Who would think that you could cram so much goodness into a serving like that and with THE freshest strawberries ever!!! Keep up the awesome job!!!"
