Chef Garreth Dickey has quietly created one of the finest menus in town (D Magazine, January 2013). DISH was awarded "Best New Restaurant of the Year" (Texas Monthly, February 2011) and is featured as "Best of DFW (Dallas Morning News, January 2011).
DISH is located within the iLUME complex and is complete with indoor and outdoor dining, private dining options, an impressive wine list as well as a smart variety of freshly made cocktails to entice everyone.

"Went for brunch with a group if six. The food was wonderful, but the service was ridiculously slow. Took two hours to get food. Expensive drinks, however, were supplied regularly while we waited. Felt like they were just running up the tab. The restaurant was 1/3 full if that. We brought it up to manager, who said he wished he had known. Um, he walked by our table at least 20 times. This was so different from my first visit, where food and service were great. Won't rush back any time soon."

"My wife and I went to DISH recently to celebrate our 11th anniversary. Upon arrival we were greeted and wished a "happy anniversary" immediately by 2 of the hosts. The waitress was great and offered strong recommendations. My wife took a chance on the Prix Fixe (chef's choice) and wasn't sure what to expect but she wound up loving each bite of all 3 courses. I went with the pork chop and it was equally as good. The sauce and added flavors made it a strong choice. The dessert that came with my wife's meal I hear is up for top dessert in D magazine - well it gets our vote!
If that wasn't enough, one of the managers brought over complimentary champaign for us too. All in all a great night and we will definitely be back!"

"DISH was by far an exceptional dining experience. The service was amazing-our waiter allowed us to have our own wine tasting which was so nice considering we were early. Our party arrived and was quickly escorted to our table, and the manager spent easily 10 minutes talking to us and sharing his vision for the restaurant. This experience continued with steady, well paced, service a great table which has a view of the bar and yet was private enough for conversation. Our meal was one of the best I have eaten lately in Dallas! Bravo to an excellent choice and to being a committed loyal customer moving forward!"

"I have the best time every time I got to dish. I usually go on special occasions or to take my girlfriend out for a romantic night, but this time I took my mom to brunch for Mother's Day. The service was great and so was the food. I would recommend DISH to everyone."

"We were greeted at the door by a friendly hostess and then promptly seated. A hand written card was handed to me to thank us for choosing their restaurant to celebrate my girlfriend's 30th birthday. This was very nice. The manager greeted us with a warm welcome and we like that.
We started off with the night with a cocktail and bottle of red wine suggested to us by the server Brandon. We then proceeded to have a started salad (angry greek) before our entrees. For dinner, she had the Scallops and I had the Halibut special. We were very pleased with all of the food and overall service.
We both want to say thank you from the bottom of our "foodie" hearts for the very nice evening you allowed us to have. We will be back soon.

"I had higher expectations for this place and I was disappointed. It was okay and the food was good, but it was nothing special nor anything you haven't eaten at 10 other restaurants. Meh.. Not a place I would talk about or think about again for dining out."

"We noted on the reservation form that we were first time diners at this restaurant, and we were welcomed by the greeter, the server, and one of the managers! They even gave us a handwritten note telling us they were happy we had chosen their restaurant. I cannot tell you what an impression that made on my wife and I.
Food was overall excellent. Service was amiable. If you are sitting next to the bar, prepare for some of the patrons to be very, shall we say, animated. If you want a quiet table, you do not want to sit by the bar. The kitchen turns out some very unique dishes, and they "work" 90% of the time. We would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat and plan to return. You should, too."

"Creative menu, right-size portions, delicious drinks . Only complaint was one of my dining companions ordered the Salmon medium rare and the waitress said they will not cook the fish this way. He asked why not and she said the kitchen will not fix it that way. I have never heard of this in my life. It was brought out overcooked and was ruined. Someone needs to train the servers that salmon is not meat and does not need to be cooked that way. Otherwise, the other 3 of the diners in my group loved their apps, drinks and entree's."

"My girlfriends and I came here to celebrate my bachelorette party. We all had a really great time and enjoyed the food and drinks. The drinks were especially amazing (my friend ordered a really complex drink and it came out so delicious!). Our server, Brandon, was just THE BEST!!!!!! We were so happy and impressed by his service. He really went above and beyond to accommodate us and made sure we had a good experience at DISH. The bartender was also very nice and friendly. Overall, I really enjoyed it here. My New York strip steak wasn't cooked to order, though. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well and tough as rubber. I was having such a great time that it didnt really bother me, so I didn't ask for another steak."

"This place was INCREDIBLE. We were visiting Dallas for the weekend and decided to make reservations for dinner on Saturday. The atmosphere was great, the food, I have just no words, if you are to go here, you must pick one of the chef's picks. We ordered the Lamb Meatballs, which were fantastic, then we ordered the scallops and quail since our waitress recommended it. Both dishes were delicious. Our waitress, Andrea, was extremely knowledgeable about the whole menu, she was incredibly nice, and just absolutely amazing.Everything was so perfect and Andrea was so awesome that she convinced us to come back for Sunday brunch. Which we did. Drag brunch was delicious and fun. We will definitely go back next time we visit Dallas!"

"We have been to Dish 8 times for brunch and dinner. The meals have generally been outstanding. It is one of our favorite higher end restaurants along with Salums, the Oak, Jaspers, Nosh, Rise #1 and the French Room. The wait staff is very organized."

"This was our first time eating at DISH and it was excellent! The cocktails were delicious, service was fast even on a crowded Saturday night, and the food was outstanding. We had the prix fixe menu of shrimp and grits, feta-crusted salmon (the only let-down), and salted caramel pudding (quite possibly the best thing we have ever tasted). We also tried the fried artichoke hearts and BBQ short ribs (the second best part of the meal). The ambiance was very loud/energetic, so while it was fun and delicious I would not call it particularly romantic, but it was never too loud to hear each other speaking. Overall, an excellent find!"
