"Was there to welcome a friend into town. It was a friday night and the place was silent! It was about 7pm. The waitress was more than nice and the food and prices were reasonable. But the place just did't feel welcoming.
Our pizza was soggy but we loved our waiter so did not want to get her in trouble. We ate it anyways =)"

"We attended the St. Anthony's Penny Pitch fund-raiser. What a fantastic time - for a terrific San Francisco cause. Momo's is one of San Francisco great citizens... Lots of fun people work there. As many fun people eat and drink there. It's the place to go even when the Giants are on the road."

"Lunch with clients from out of town.
One meal (a hot sandwich) was not delivered to the table. We brought this to the attention of the server. 15 minutes went by and still no sandwich. I brought the problem to the attention of the manager. 10 additional minutes went by and still no sandwich. I brought the problem to the attention of the lady at the front desk. She informed me that the manager is new. The Sandwich was delivered 30 minutes late. Everyone else in our group of 7 had finished their meal.
To the restaurant's credit, they credited our appetizer and brought free cookies. BFD.
Bottom Line: Service needs improvement. Doubtful if I'll be back to MoMo's anytime soon. Service was unacceptable."

"Momo's is the perfect pre Giant game event for all the obvious location issues, and the food is very good. But this time my entree, a perfectly prepared Blackened Alaskan Halibut with heirloom vegetables was OUTSTANDING. Wonderful small green and yellow baby carrots, baby zucchini, perfectly cooked fresh corn surrounded the halibut. Every bite a resounding YUM! I always expect a good meal, but this was extraordinary and beautifully presented. Well done!"

"We have dined at MoMo's several times. The service has always been good and the food is good. I was surprised that they have a "policy" (maybe a new thing?) that bread is available "on request". In my opinion, a basket of bread selection should be a regular part of dining here. Other than that, we enjoyed our meal and service."

"This is a classy place to take friends if you're looking for a good place to dine before a Giants game. It's right across the street from the stadium. We ordered a few small plates that we shared among the four of us. The drinks were tasty as well as the food. Our server was especially nice, and we had a great experience. Don't go there without a reservation, as you may be waiting for awhile. Thank you Momo's and thank you Open Table!"

"MoMo's is actually a very good restaurant with excellent service. It could stand alone in any location and do well and I think its excellence is masked by its location across from the ball park which means it would do well even if the food was average. Be a great place to go when their is NOT a game.

"MoMo appears to have become a victim of its own success: so many ballpark-related customers and such a good bar business that it seems to think it can continue to shrink its menu, no longer offer any special items, do a very few things in a mediocre-to-good way, and continue to rake in the revenue."

"My recent visit confirmed that this place is really on a downhill slide. I used to consider it almost (not quite) a gourmet place, but it is hardly more than a burger joint now. And the qualitiy of the staff seems to have gone downhill to match the selection and quality of the food."

"Momo's was a great choice for lunch with my group. From light to substantial, everyone found something on the menu to suit them. Our server was terrific and really kept an eye on everyone. I'm a bit sorry they didn't do something about the low bench seating during the recent remodeling, but the room looks warmer and the tables remain well spaced."

"We were there for late Saturday lunch, so there was no one in the restaurant but us (although quite a few diners were outside on the patio). If the music was quite as loud, I would have liked it more, but it was still a great experience. I've been there dozens of times and it never disappoints."

"We made a 9pm reservation through Open Table. However, on the day of our reservation, we received a telephone call from the restaurant that they only served until 8:30 so they could not accommodate our 9pm reservation. We are from San Diego and were attending a baseball game across the street at AT&T park and had to leave the park early in order to arrive by 8:30. We had invited another couple to join us at MoMo's after the game. This was distressing as we paid $100 per ticket for the game. Service was slow. Food was only so so. All in all, it was a major disappointment."

"Beware...Momo's has revamped their menu. Since they reopened they are still working out the "bugs" in their service and food. Quality of food items was good but the timing of the dishes wasn't. Hot dishes should come hot! I hope they'll be ready for the baseball season as I have always found the location to be very convenient with decent food."

"Our first visit since the remodel. WE LIKE IT! Also, the new 'smoker' has added 3 BBQ items to the menu. I tried the BBQ Chicken, and it was really very, very good. As well as being a great value for the price. The recent changes have certainly improved one of our neighborhood favorites."

"This restaurant is not "MoMo's" anymore. Apparently TWO DAYS BEFORE our reservation, the restaurant was changed to a BBQ joint!
There were only 2 other diners there and the dining room was barren ( stripped of all decor) . I brought out of town guests based on the reviews, photos and menu I had seen on line at Open Table. I was very embarrassed in front of my guests......expecting a very lovely restaurant and special meal. On a Saturday night in San Francisco, I would never have brought them here if I knew everything had changed! I should have been given a phone call ahead of time to let me know. Very disapointed!"
