"As a professional chef I found the quality of food sub par for the price point. The grouper was frozen per the chef. The potatoes were runny and the service was lacking. I would go to the movies again but I wouldn't eat in the restaurant for the price."

"Ordered off the menu & quesadillas stated that they came with guacamole, fresh salsa & chipotle ranch dip but neither arrived with the food. Also, the mushroom Swiss burger arrived with American cheese. When we asked about this, the server, Thomas, stated that "They were in the process of switching to fine dining from not-so-fine dining". Did he really just say that?! the burgers weren't seasoned @ all yet the fries were so salty we couldn't eat them. During a 1 hour dinner, we were checked on once. The couple seated next to us ordered an appetizer & when Thomas delivered meals he explained that their computer system is very complex so the wrong food was made. Altogether, I will never dine there again. Over $100 for 3 was NOT worth it."

"We had a Hreat time but just felt our server did not check in enough...had to wait for him to come back after food was done and ask for a drink. As a prior bartender if I saw a Guests drink getting low I'd offer or recommend another...this didn't happen. We sat outside and could see he was busy with his tables inside...we felt forgotten about. We really enjoy eating outside but will deff sit inside next time in hopes of better service. The meal itself was very good but I was a lil surprised to not find any tomato on the salad. Yes it was a house salad but usually there's the grape tomatoes or half of a vine or steak tomato. The top sirloin was delish! Just wished the steak knives were actually sharp enough to cut through it."

"This is the second time we have dined at Silverspot. Our first time experience was excellent. Unfortunately, this last experience was not. Service was very slow. Food preparation was not as expected. It was very disappointing. Hoping the next time will be a huge improvement. My friend ordered her steak dinner rare. It came out more on the medium to medium well side. When we inquired about getting another steak to replace it, we were told it would take 20 mins. I had the pecan encrusted grouper, which was very overcooked. I left most of the breading on the plate, along with an over abundance of beets. It was just a bad evening at the restaurant."

"We had the pan seared grouper and ribeye. The grouper felt and tasted like it came from a box in my freezer. I've had the crab cake sliders before and also did not care for. As a seafood lover both were very disappointing. I did taste my fiancé ribeye and that was better. Need to add thousand island to your dressing to your dressing list. Salad that came with movie and meal pick was blah. Needed some color."

"We had never been to The Restaurant at Silverspot for dinner before but with teenagers visiting & wanting to go to a Saturday night movie we thought this would be the best place. "This was the first time we tried the "dinner and a movie" bundle. Service was a little slow. We made our dinner reservation before our show time and we had extra time alloted, so we were not sure if the server was pacing dinner to use up our extra time so we would not have to wait at the theater, or if she was just slow. We ended up rushing to the theater at the last minute. We still made it to our movie during the previews so that was ok. We both had the Surf & Turf, and the filet was one of the best we have had in this price range. But the vegetables were cold and we had to ask for bread. They had roses for the ladies and a themed dessert. It was a neat way to spend Valentines Day and we would probably do this again for a special occasion"

".We signed up for a dinner and a movie. I made a dinner reservation for 6:15pm figuring that this would give my wife and I plenty of time to make the 7:20 movie. We arrived by 6 and were seated by 6:10. I gave the waiter our drink and dinner order. The drinks and salad were served promptly but our dinner did not arrive until forty minutes later. We were done eating by 7 and the waiter asked us if we wanted desert. We said that would be great if they could serve it right away because the movie starts at 7:20. Well we were not served desert until 7:20 and we had to gulp it down to make the movie. I don't know if it was the waiters or the kitchens fault for the slow service but the place was not busy so there is no excuse."

"The Veal Picata was very good. My husband and I like to get the dinner and a movie when we have a date night. It's very conveinient to make the reservations and pay at home. This was our 3rd time here and when we walked in they knew we had a reservation. Pepe was our waiter and he was very friendly and good. We would definately recommend the dinner and a movie and come again."

"I was visiting southwest Florida with my wife from Germany and I asked a friend about a special place to take her. His recommendation was to visit the Silverspot Cinema. SO I searched online for more info and found a "dinner and a movie". So I booked it. My wife loved the package deal that you put together for us. Since we have returned to Germany, she has told everyone about our experience at your establishment. Great job and I can only say thank you for making my wife happy. Her smile is priceless."
