"Wednesday evening dinner was a birthday celebration dinner. I reserved a table outside, the patio is much quieter than the inside dinning room. I ordered a bottle of wine, the waiter mis understood and brought me a glass of wine leaving my guest without a drink. When I corrected the order the waiter simply took the single glass and I assume poured it out and eventually brought the bottle. I thought it could have been handled better. As the evening went on it became clear our wait staff were spread thin and were challenged to meet the demand. It was some time between salad and entree and receiving the check. The scallops were fantastic. My guest also loved the burger. I will go back."

"Bistro Niko is better for lunch than for dinner. although the food was very good, the horseradish-crusted cod was sub-par, in my opinion. it needed to be browned more....seemed like kitchen was in a hurry to get it out. the seafood pasta was very good, and my adult kids enjoyed their entrees. the little pop-over rolls were excellent!
altho we went on Mother's Day evening, it was not extremely crowded. we arrived early, sat at the bar where the male bartender was too busy to help us and acted annoyed when we questioned why we were not getting served after sitting there for a while , un-acknowledged. the female bartender was darling, sweet and helpful, but also very busy.
all in all, we all enjoyed our experience."

"Food was great, as always, but when our waiter showed up, after disappearing for long streches, his service was infuriatingly unctious. To top it off, he got a few items wrong on our order.
The service just wasn't clikcing properly: I asked for a half dozen oysters and got a dozen. They forgot to bring crackers to accompany the oysters. We sat for thirty minutes before we were served. Generally they do a terrific job at BN, so I'll consider it a one time thing. I'd definitely go back."

"My hubby & I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here Sat night. We had never been here before. We noted on OpenTable that we were celebrating our anniv. From the moment we arrived to when we left, they made sure our evening would be special. Our waiter was Adam from Istanbul & he was spot on. The food was fantastic. We ordered 3 apps (pork belly & sepia on the reg menu & an app special, soft shell crab). All were delicious. The pork belly's skin could stand to be more crispy. The My husband order skate & I had steak au poivre and both were so yummy. They gave us comp dessert, my fave- profiteroles. The noise level was fine. We were not looking for a quiet nite & thought the atmosphere was lively. We would definitely go back!"

"Felt like a night at the Cheesecake Factory instead of a nice French bistro.
Portions are huge (not French portions). Dining room was extremely loud (there is nothing in decor to dampen the sounds). We weren't even finished with the two appetizers we ordered when the server arrived with our main courses and we felt rushed.
Lamb chops were cooked perfectly...I would substitute something else instead of the overcooked heap of brussels sprouts that come with it. They should really add more of the fingerling potatoes to the plate. I only had 4.
Overall, there's nothing French about this place except for the menu's french-titled dishes. Food was pretty good, but do not go here if you're looking for ambience, quiet...you won't find it."

"Was very happy we were seated in side room as we it was a bit quieter and nicer ambience there for a dinner for two. Our entrees were good (beef bourginon and scallops). "Special" salad was a bit disappointing - not much at all to it beyond lettuce and dressing. Reasonably priced. Only downside on service was I had asked that our appetizers/salad be held until we ordered and rec'd wine but they were not. Server might not have heard this request. Did not realize that the diner's card cannot be used for tax, so our server got shorted $11 from his tip. (we will drop off for him, but would be better if wait staff reminds you of this). Otherwise, attentive to our needs.Valet parking was backed up so we self-parked -- was $8 vs. tipping valet."

"The food at Bistro Niko was, as it was the last time we dined there, outstanding. We both very much enjoyed our appetizer, entrees, and dessert, as well as the wine & cocktails. But on a busy Friday evening, our server was extremely inattentive and did not pay attention to details. My husband's cocktail was... mostly right, but with lemon instead of lime and not ice cold, after we waited quite some time for the cocktails to arrive. The server forgot to put in one of the appetizers, but we were content with just one. So I would recommend Bistro Niko, but highly recommend dining there on a less busy evening."

"Bistro Niko remains a top choice for restaurants in Atlanta. The food is amazing, and the staff is always excellent. Our server, Matt, was great -- very friendly, personable, with a good sense of humor. All staff members, really, are excellent, and this is consistent from visit to visit. The high quality of the meal will draw you in, and the high level of service will keep you coming back. The menu is tough to beat. The only criticism is that their needs to be a greater selection of less expensive wines."

"Our family continues to enjoy returning in our minds (and stomachs) to Paris when dining at Bistro Niko. The menu is absolutely authentic and the flavors superb. We are especially thrilled to know that everything we eat is made locally and nothing is artificial or imported. Our favorite dishes are always the fresh oysters and the grand charcuterie platter! We tried the mussels le coze this time and found them delightful as well. And if we could keep the endive salad in our fridge for snacking, we would! Thank you for this fantastic gem that we return to over and over."

"Server was bizarre and robot like... Steak undercooked and took three tries to get so they comp'ed the dessert. Few gnats flying around one landed and drowned in my bourbon so they gave me another pour. All said food was still excellent so would certainly go back and hope for better luck."

"Bistro Niko is definitely worth a visit. The food was amazing. I had the steak au poivre and it was delicious. Before I ate the steak, our waiter asked me to cut into the steak to see if it was cooked the way I wanted it. Never had anyone do that before! My wife had the Coq au vin, which was probably the most well cooked chicken we have ever eaten. The service was amazing - our waiter was addressing us by our names, which really gives a personal touch to the experience.
The only drawback of this place is that it gets really loud. I don't know if that is because there was a big group or something. But this should not deter you from going here. It's top notch!"

"First time at Bistro Niko. We used it as a place close to the office to get together with a vendor. While the inside of the restaurant was too loud to carry on a converation across a table of 6 the staff arranged for us to dine outside - this perfectly addressed our issue.
We had flatbread starters. Very good. The entrees were all excellent. Everyone commented on the quality off the food the next day.
We will definitely go back."

"Very nice dinner with my parents and new fiancé celebrating our engagement. My parents are in their 60's and my father has a hard time hearing. But, the restaurant accommodated us by moving us to the smaller room near in a corner to avoid the loud large room and loud open kitchen area. The food was excellent, service was very good, and the prices were quite normal for a French resturant. Four of us, with appetizers and entrees, two bottles of wine rang up around $250.00. Well worth it for a special dinner such as this one. Only complaint per se, is the vibrant noise level (we dined on a Sunday evening to avoid a noisy resturant autmosphere) and my fiancé of 6'7" felt as if he may break the wooden chair."

"My wife and I enjoyed our second dinner visit to Bistro Niko, this time with two very special guests. I could not have been more pleased with the food, service and ambiance, as we were taken into a table location that was quiet and perfect for conversation. "Inside was a happening place, tons of small groups of people around bar area. If you have a booth in bar area it is a bit loud! Outside, weather permitting, is much quieter and perfect for a date. Food great, some very heavy, recommend sharing and sampling flavors. Beet salad great, fried crispy pork belly was yummy, I prefer smooth creamy pâté over chunky country pâté but taste was good. The French bread that is served with a meal is wonderful just add a little real butter and it will transport you to Europe. I miss good bread like that in the states."

"I set up a reservation so that my wife and I could have dinner at a romantic location near Lenox Mall. I'm ad that I chose this place. The food was delicious. I had the scallops and my wife had the lamb chops. Both were incredible. I tend to eat a good size portion so I felt that my place could have been a bit fuller.
The service was great and we enjoyed our visit.
When I looked up the restaurant I was told that it had complimentary valet which I later found out wasn't true, you had to pay. Wasn't much but it did catch me by surprise."

"We had reservations at 6:30 and were seated immediately. Although the restaurant was pretty empty, we were seated in the bar. My fault for not saying anything but would have preferred the restaurant. We had excellent service: prompt and frequent, appropriate times for ordering and receiving food. And the food was very good. We started with Gougères (cheese puffs), light and tasty. My husband had the Crisped Duck Confit and Herbed Goat Cheese Ravioli (on Ratatouille- he ate all of it and declared we have a new place to eat when we come to Atlanta (he liked). I had the Roasted Ashley Farms Chicken, served on buttery mashed potatoes with au jus-very tasty/moist. Bananes Sundae - also good."
