"Had dinner here on Mother's Day. Not good. The food was awful. I was going to order a vegetable board but don't care for pickled vegetables and really don't care for carrots. When I asked our extremely pretentious waiter if I could substitute something for the pickled vegetables he said he would have to speak with the chef. Really? It's vegetables. He said I could have brussel sprouts and carrots. I said to him, "Let me think about that because I really don't like carrots." I ordered the crab and brie fondue which tasted like neither crab nor brie. It tasted like sugar. So sweet I sent it back. And it was served to me with raw carrots right after I said I don't want carrots. And our waiter was so full of himself it was laughable."

"Enjoyed Mother's Day brunch here, but lack of kids' cups (plastic with a lid) was surprising considering it was Mother's Day. Not exactly a place for kids but they accomodated my kids nicely. Great food and wine, although a bit pricey. Impressive wine list and flights were available."

"The atmosphere, service, food, menu selection all were outstanding. Great wine list. The standard menu selection and special were so fresh. Like the garden and farm were right out of the back of the kitchen. Service was warm and polite and attentive throughout the evening. Had a fabulous time and would recommend going back for special occasions and just a quiet neighborhood night out."

"I would have given the food 4 stars, but the pierogies were ice cold in the middle. Other than that, everything else was delicious. The cheese plate was beautiful and very ample for 3 people for a starter. We all loved our entrees: hangar steak, filtet mignon , and the fish special. Will definitely be back when we are in Newark."

"If you want to go out to dinner to eat exceptional, flavorful food and be treated like royalty go to the Stone Balloon Winehouse. The architecture made me feel like I was transported to Tuscany. The staff was very attentive, cheerful and genuine. The food was creative, flavorful and satisfying. Chef Andy and Chef Jason created a 5-star menu on Tuesday night. To top it off they both found the time to come to our table to greet us. Outstanding!"
