Sushi Roku Pasadena has transformed the traditional sushi bar experience into a complete dining affair. Guests can enjoy their visit at the sushi bar, one of the hand-made bamboo dining tables adjacent to a trickling waterfall, or escape to the garden patio overlooking the courtyard. Sushi Roku's vast and colorful menu features an array of fresh California sushi, luscious salads, specialty appetizers and hot entrees. Our full service bar offers a variety of hot and cold sake as well as asian martinis and an extensive wine list.
"Their Sashimi with diced chiles are the best. They give great service, the decor is awesome. My mother is very picky but she loved this place and the food although I have not known her to like Japanese food, sushi or sashimi, for that matter."

"First off, I would like to say that the sushi was excellent! The sushi was very fresh and served beautifully. The restaurant is hard to find if you have never been there before because it is inside an outside shopping area. And a GPS is no help. It would be nice to have that explained on their website and have suggestions where to park. (Valet is best and easy to find once you know how to do it)
The hostess was not all that friendly and it did take forever to get my check. (not really a big deal)
I did love the decor and atmosphere of Sushi Roku and the sushi chefs were all very friendly. I would certainly recommend Sushi Roku to true sushi lovers!!!"

"My boyfriend and I went here and I got us reservations via Open Table and let them know it was his birthday before hand and they ace through!
The hostess wished him a happy birthday and so did our server! Loved that. Then after our dinner, they served us a lava cake (which is his favorite, he was like "How did they know? Did you tell them anything?) and on the plate it said happy birthday Eric in chocolate cursive. By far the best experience we've had there ever. And we come for any special occasion that we can!"

"This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the past two visits were disappointing... Food and service were definitely sub-par irregardless of the price."

"Love this place! One of my favourites in Pasadena. They have quiet tables if you want to be romantic. Try the old-style popcorn shrimp, and don't miss the ginger-lychee mojitos..."

"Exceptional sushi! Delish. The presentation of all dishes were incredible. The front of the house was timely with our seating. We had reservations and we were seated immediately."

"Enjoyed the Dine LA Menu which made dinner a steal at $35 a head for a 3 course meal. Two of us really enjoyed the sushi but one of my dining companions, an avid sushi eater, thought differently. He ordered asking a lot of questions about what the chef recommended and ordered off the regular menu. His take was that it was lovely fresh fish but the place was more about the scene in Old Town Pasadena & overpriced. He also thought that the signature rolls the restaurant offered were hybridized offerings each with there own special topping or garnish; therefore geared more for people who don't eat a lot of sushi. His seaweed salad was definately over dressed...a pool of dressing at the bottom of the bowl. The quality of the fish, superb!"
