"Had reservation as it was Father's Day. Had to wait over 20 minutes for a table. When the hostess took us to a table, it was directly in front of the kitchen door opening so that we could see what looked like mops/brooms. Very unpleasant particulary given that there were other tables open and we had waited 20 minutes for our table. Will NOT return to this restaurant."

"We have been to this restaurant many times but went Saturday night at 7:30 we had a reservation got seated immediately which was very nice. The service was terrible we had a young girl who must have tried to take our dinner order 4-5 times within 10 mins a couple of these times were before we even got are drinks. We finally gave her are order and we were out in less then an hour. I could see the pressure to have us order if they were busy but there were many empty tables. Restaurant lost on this deal and so did we might consider going back if I am in a hurry because the food was good. Sorry but you have lost some good customers for a while."

"Came here for Cinco de Mayo. Festive atmosphere sitting out on the patio and watching the ducks in the stream. Food was good, if unspectacular, but the service seemed harried."

"We all had the house margarita. I had the Baja shrimp salad which was not bad but also not great. Shrimp needed a tad more seasoning. But I was light with the salad dressing. The rest had enchiladas and chili rellenos. The enchiladas were almost the size of a burrito and the chili relleno seemed to be baked and not fried. My friend preferred the yummies fried version in other restaurants. As for the noise level, you definitely needed to speak louder. They do have outside seating but it was chilly outside."

"After reading some reviews we weren't sure about acting here but I must say that none of the issues that we read about in the reviews presented itself to us. We had a group of five and we were all impressed. Service was fine, food came out fast and everyone was friendly. We will definately be back."

The chips were very greasy- didn't like them at all.
We didn't get the guacamole for our chips until
the entree came.
The Fish taco had seared raw ahi- not used to
to that at all and couldn't finish it.
My daughter's French toast was very dark almost
burned. It took about 10 minutes after she got her plate to get syrup.
I didn't enjoy the food at all.
On top of that every 2 seconds a waiter will turn
the corner and yell out " corner !" It was very annoying
and we couldn't even have a conversation.
The view is pretty and that's about it."

"We went here for dinner on Mother's Day. The restaurant did not seem overly busy or overly quiet. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated so we wondered if they were short staffed - answer: YES. It took them a bit of time to get our chips and salsa and at that, they brought our large party one basket of chips and one salsa for the table. We ordered guacamole - mui bueno! I ordered a classic combo - chicken taco and cheese enchilada - nothing to write home about - way too much cheese in the enchilada and it was sticky - like it had been sitting for awhile. My son ordered the Famoso burrito and I would say he got his money's worth. Overall it is just typical Mexican fare."

"I've been dieting and mexican food has been "off" the list. We were looking for a place to meet friends that was kid friendly. After reviewing the menu, we decided the Prickly Pear had something for everyone. Grilled prawns, mahi mahi and a kids menu. Lovely setting, really good and healthy food. We'll be back soon!"

"Terrific chips, salsa, guacamole and Cadillac margaritas! Fantastic and funny server who was quick to respond and who kept us fed and happy. "Unique Tacos" were indeed unique and quite tasty. Inside ambiance is pretty typical, and have eaten outside which was a treat (in nice weather, but they do have outdoor heaters). Definitely worth a visit!"
