"Our party of 6 tried Gaucho Grill for the first time and we were really pleased. Our table was ready when we arrived, the service was very good and the food was full of flavor and well prepared. We would definitely return! We also got lucky with parking - not easy in Brentwood."

"We went here for Mother's Day. There was a special for $28 we got an appetizer (shrimp brucchetta or empanada) a main course 9 salmon with a white wine caper sauce) and a dessert ( lava cake or panqueques with a carmel sauce). Our waitress who was a mother to be was very nice and the service was prompt. They also offered all you can drink mimosas or sangria for $9. This was a restaurant we had been to before in Santa Monica so we knew it would be delicious and it was!"

"There are only two Gaucho Grill locations left, which is so disappointing because their food is so amazing and tasty! A group of 5 of us went here after work to celebrate a co-workers borthday and the service was exceptional and the food is very yummy!"

"Every week, my wife and I go on a 'date night', and this week I really felt like a good steak. The food at Gaucho Grill is excellent, and it is not as pricy as some of the other good steak places in LA. The service is also really good. There are two things to notice though: it can get pretty crowded on a Saturday night, and therefore a bit noisy, and the wait for the steaks is a bit longer than I am used to (about 15-20 mins I'd say), but other than that, it was a wonderful experience. I'll be going back there for sure!"

"I have dine at Gaucho Grill in Long Beach several times and always had a positive experience, Brentwood? not so much. The food was not as good prepared, the empanadas filling was frozen inside, the steak not well seasoned and on the tough side. Would I return to Brentwood? No, would I return to Long Beach? Defenetely."

"Food: Good, but unexciting. The beef empanada was delicious! Crust was flaky and the meat was juicy and flavorful. Yummm! The "entrana chimichurri" was a bit disappointing. It's a bit saltier than my liking, but the mashed potato and the asparagus were great. The lava rock chocolate soufflé didn't really have a melted/liquid center, so it was just like having a brownie a la mode. -.-' Service: It could have been better. My place setting was missing a fork and a plate. I only saw our waitress three times (taking order, refilled our water once, and gave us the check). Ambiance: Tiny tables, but the atmosphere was nice. I loved the stone arches. Overall: It's a decent place, but I do not see myself heading back any time soon."

"I came here for DineLA for my boyfriend's birthday. I ordered the Santa Fe steak which had grilled mushrooms on top and mashed potatoes on the side. While it looked good, it certainly did not taste the same. The steak had a very distinct "stink" or smell I call it "stinky beef" which can happen when you do not marinate the beef enough or you just chose a bad piece of steak (which should not happen in nice restaurants). I would never come back. the dessert crepe was literally crepe (nothing inside) with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream- nothing special. The steak with chimichurri sauce (what my bf got) was really good though."

"I always get a great meal here (lunch) and the prices are reasonable. My favorite is the manager's special chopped salad and even the half size is a generous portion. I also really like the spinach and ricotta cheese raviolo in the pink sauce - very yummy! I bring friends and co-workers here for special lunches as it's conveniently located to my office in Brentwood."
