"one fellow that serves as receptionist is very rude and has caused a group of us to prefer Belinico up the block where all staff are very curtious and food is very good. Marzano does have great pizza."

"Marzano on Park is incredible. This is perhaps the seventh time we've eaten there. The first meal there was truly delicious. And they keep on getting better every time! Each time I go with my palate "set" to a high satisfaction level, the food always exceeds my high expectations. I don't know anyplace serving more delicious fire-roasted octopus. The pizzas are exemplary, and the oven-roasted meats are phenomenal. The service is warm, friendly, enthusiastic, and spot-on for timing and letting us savor the great flavors. The bartender is one of the best I've observed anywhere. I am really delighted and amazed by the entire operation."

"Though I had a reservation we were seated at a small table directly in front of the door; therefore exposing us to all the people coming in who waited for tables to come up, plus the staff at the podium next to the door and all the cold air that came in at our backs. Though I understand that someone needs to be seated at this table, I was hoping for better having made the reservation weeks in advance and confirming with them the day prior. Could they not have sat a "walk-in" party at this table so that I could enjoy a nice dinner with my Valentine? I had hoped for a better location with our early 6:30 reservation.
Likely won't go again unless they're less-busy. Service and food were fine; a few more entree offerings would be great."

"My wife and I were there for the special Valentine's Day menu. Food was very good; I had
the lamb shank, and it was big, and delicious. My wife had the pasta with shrimp, and it was very tasty, and the plump shrimp were very succulent. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't try their famous pizza, as they weren't serving it that evening. But, we
figure that it's a good reason to return to the restaurant. My wife had their cannoli for dessert, which surprised me as she usually doesn't have it. Not only did she order it, she ate it completely (sharing a bite with me of course), and pronounced it the best cannoli she's ever had."

"Marzano on Park is a great spot for a casual dinner -- the chicken arrabata is a gem! Wonderful pizzas, but don't overlook the entrees - they'll match up to any upscale restaurant. The only problem is that it is small, tables are very close to one another and the more these great reviews highlight the restaurant the more likely it will be that it will be more and more difficult to access. By the way, weekend brunch is really good too."

"We have been to this restaurant several times. The food is always flavorful and the service is friendly without being too friendly. The space is small and tables are close together. This is great for meeting folks sitting nearby, not so great for private conversations. On this trip, the tuna was exceptional and the pork shank special was very special indeed."

"First time visit just before New Years as we pass by on the way home since moving to the area 6 months ago. The seating was jammed packed, barely able to navigate towards the table. They should either reduce the seating or just state it's communal seating and you'll have to cozy-up to your neighbor. Obviously a pizza place, but they had only 3 main course options if you didn't want pizza. They should re-think the menu or at least rename the place to "Marzano's Pizza" to reflect what they serve. Wait staff was pleasant but appeared frustrated trying to navigate to tables. Food (Pizza, duh!) was OK, but only average. I would only recommend the place as a take out if you live in the area and don't want to travel. Overall, not worth it."

"We had a wonderful experience on New Year's Eve---food was from a price fix menu and reasonable at $35.
I will definitely go back and see what they have on their regular menu.

"We had a delicious dinner. I had my favorite, papparadelle, which was tender and richly flavored with mushrooms. My dining companion had the suckling pig, a special on Mondays, which was succulent and flavorful. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and made suggestions that were helpful."

"This was my first time to Marzano on Park. My wife and I previously went to Marzano on College and had a fantastic dinner. Marzano on Park was good, but it wasn't as good as Marzano on College. We got the quattro formaggio pizza, and there was a little too much cheese, which made the crust soggy. Our salads were good, as was the fritto misto. However, none of it stood out. Overall a good place with good food at a reasonable price."

"We were surprised that this restaurant made it in the top 100 Bay Area Restaurant list. While the chickory salad and pizzas were good, the chocolate hazelnut torte was a disappointment. They also don't carry standard brands of gin, leaving the customer to try to figure out the closest match to their preferred brand. Our waitress was excellent, but we felt rushed what with the staff trying to pick up plates that were obviously not finished."
