Peekskill Brewery is a brewpub located on the Riverfront in Peekskill, New York. We’re craft obsessed from the top down…Craft is clever, quality and fresh. These are the elements we use to deliver innovation to your table each and every day. Authentic and without pretense. Our mission is to deliver the comforts of a thoughtfully sourced menu in an inspired brewery atmosphere.
Our original location opened in 2008 on Hudson Avenue in Peekskill, NY. Over the past few years, the demand for more PB beer (and space) was such that we decided to expand. We have now opened our doors to our new facility on South Water Street. We hope you will come visit us soon to check out what’s been “brewing” here on the Riverfront!

"Enjoyed the decor and ambiance. Didn't love our food. We ordered veggie pot-pie, hamburger, 2 fish and chips which were very bland. Burger was very good.
"Bar bites" not great. Pretzels were a little hard. Sauce, a basic honey mustard. (Would've been kinda cool if they were larger and served on a cutting board with different kinds of dipping sauces) We had Pierogies, tasty but small. (Instead of a glass, white plate would've been cool served in a small cast iron skillet and were a little larger.) Not great for sharing.
Great selection of beer and spirits. Service and wait staff extremely friendly and prompt.
Our first experience, we'd go back, BUT we'd sit at the bar, have a couple of drinks and have appetizers."

"The food was decent, the beer is excellent, but the service was horrible. Granted, our reservation was for 9:45pm, but at the same time, we had to work to flag down our waiter. Also, we ordered oysters, and they came out warm instead of chilled as they should have been. Absolutely gross. I was disappointed in how the place has changed since it changed hands and locations."

"A big, airy metro/industrial space with two floors--one for pubbing, one for dining. Parking is limited to a very small lot, but there is a City permit lot next to that which you can use on weekends. Not really sure where else you can park around there w/o a hike.
The centerpiece is the craft beer--all of which (we tried 6 kinds between us)-- fresh and flavorful. The food was unexpectedly delicious as well--fish & chips, bacon burger, mac & cheese--fries--all done just a tad differently & yummy. Veggies with your meal is $4 extra, and desserts (at around $8) were smallish but delicious as well.
Dinner for three w/ beer & dessert was $100+. It's noisy there (I could barely hear our waiter), so not great for an intimate twosome."

"I like to go to PB for the wings, that I use to enjoy. The last several times however I have been disappointed. My results, "sorry we're out of wings", "Sorry you just missed the last order of chipotle maple" and this week I did get an order of chipotle maple wings that were so hot I thought I was given hot wings covered over with chipotle maple sauce and the wings were very dry and hard. As a frequent customer of the former more intimate spot I will however persevere until we get it right. The service is always great!"

"Very decent if somewhat unexceptional pub food. It's best to stick with the standards and avoid any attempts at something complicated. A good neighborhood place for a burger or mussels and fries."

"Good, attentive, caring service; delightful cream ale; delicious poutine; and revivifying trout sandwiches helped make this experience special. I would drive ten, fifteen miles out of my way just to go here again. We drove but it is also very convenient for train from NYC,."

"It was a little confusing in the lobby and no one to greet you so a patron pointed us in the right direction to get up stairs to the tap room. Service was great, fries were outstanding. It's a large, factory setting. I strongly suggest they add some decor to dampen the noise- burlap bags hanging from the rafters would complement the brewery atmosphere (bags from hops could be used) and dampen the noise."

"Fun and hip for Peekskill area - Husband and I waited about 1/2 hour for our table, which wasn't a huge problem but bc we had a previous engagement, we informed the waiter that we were in a rush, and asked if all our dishes could be brought out as soon as they were ready. 1/2 dozen clams took over 20 minutes to arrive. We had to ask where our apps (salad and chowder) were, and informed that the chef had made an error? The table next to us (seated after us) got their food before we did. My mac and cheese arrived cold in the middle. Get your act together, Peekskill Brewery! Both waiter and host apologized for poor experience, but it didn't seem sincere. They have the potential but need to be able to execute."

"Decent pub food that does best when they keep it simple. Good mussels, burgers, etc. the food leans a little toward the bland side but it's a reliably pleasant local spot. Just keep your food expectations low."

"The menu was limited - but in a good way. It had a variety of selections, but not so many, that it would take forever to review. The specials also added to the selections.
The preice for food and drinks wre reasonable - with the beer selection being as good as advertsied.
And the best part of the veneing was the excellent and courteous waitress service we received. Our waitress knew the menu "like the back of her hand", and her recommendations were spot on.
A great local resteraunt!"

"Great design, great vib, great location, easy to park. Really like design open bar downstairs, industrial chic upstairs with another bar and great table layout. Unfortunately the food is REALLY bad, this was our second time & the food really isn't good or even fair. I never judge a restaurant by the cost, never never never but when you serve bad beer & really bad food it shouldn't cost the prices they charge."

"The new location for the Peekskill Brewery is very nice and has a lot of potential as a gathering place, being not far from the train station or the Hudson River. There are, of course, plenty of interesting beers to chose from. To my taste, the food was on the salty side - a little less liberal hand with salt by the chefs would have allowed the diner to salt according to his or her taste. My appetizer involved kale and mushrooms which were good enough but they were interspersed, apartment building style, with layers of toasted bread. Most people who order a vegetable appetizer are not looking to get a lot of extra bread. The cookies and milk desert was a nice presentation and I liked it a lot."

"Food was very good. I have had their burger multiple times and I'm never disappointed. Their lemon parm fries are also great! I wish they had a little more to choose from on the menu as it has seemed to shrink in choices since the move. The new building is beautiful has a lot more room. The beer is great, as always. I wish the prices were a tad lower so I could go more often!"

"We enjoyed our time. Our waitress was very helpful in describing the food and offering recommendations. The food was good, not great. Of course, you go to PB for the beer, which was excellent. My only complaint was that the restaurant overbooked itself and the hostess was trying to do too much. Let the staff clear tables and get the checks. Diners should not have to wait at the hostess stand for 5 minutes to check in."

"Love love love the new PB!! Food is great, the vibe is awesome, is my new go to restaurant. Would like to see a few more items added to the menu, like an entree salad. But everything is delish. And beer selection is great too! Love the Cream Ale."

"The menu items are very limited, most of them full of fat and high calories. I guess that's a choice. The trout I had was very good but not that nice to look at-bland looking, no color. The bibb salad had almost no dressing on it. The lamb shank was very fatty and actually not very pleasing though there was a lot of it. The place is Very loud especially after 9 when they turn the music up. I tasted 6 of the beers and some were ok, some were very bitter. Truthfully I can't tell what this place wants to be, a beer place that serves hamburgers, an American style with pork belly, sliders, mac and cheese,(its all been done and better) or try to be something for everyone but failing on all counts. The menu needs an overhaul."
