"Only half of the tables were taken yet it took the kitchen more than a half hour to bring out appetizers. It then took more than an hour for my husbands burger and my ribs. The burger came out well done even though it was ordered medium. My ribs were cold accompanied by hot Mac and cheese. The waitress was nice. She kept apologizing. I should have read prior reviews before picking tillmans. So disappointed. Paid for a babysitter when we should have stayed home."

"The pork chops were thick , juicy, tender and very flavorful. The tomato stack was unique and each bite was pleasantly different. The lobster tamale was a disappointment. The lobster was tough and rubbery and without taste - if I were to guess I would say it had been microwaved. The other diners in our party were overall satisfied, but I don't know that the experience warrants a return visit anytime soon, in which case it is overpriced"

"We were a party of five adults. We were seated promptly since we had reservations in a nice area. The waiter was prompt but we were told they were short of staff so service was very slow. We did not receive all of our order even though we brought this to the waiter's attention. I was not impressed."

"Tillman's Roadhouse in Fort Worth is worth the visit. If they have the blueberry margarita's available make sure to order. Great ambience. Our service and server were wonderful. The food was good. I had the flank steak and it was cooked perfectly. However, it was a little cold by the time it reached our table. Never the less, the flavor was very good."

"We came here to celebrate our anniversary and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the incredible flavor of the food but was disappointed in the service... We didn't get our good for over an hour wait after we had ordered. After we talked to a manager about it, he just said was I'm sorry we have parties going on, no excuse, but still sorry. I will be back to check on how your food is. - I guess you just have to go on a night where there aren't going to be large groups of people there."

"Service- Angela took incredible care of us. Great attitude and guided us through the menu like a pro. Also Kayla and Juju were awesome standouts. I will come back because of these three.
Food- Pork Belly- While the sauce was amazing and the top of the pork belly was not crispy liked it should have been. It lost its texture. Pickles- They were good. Chicken Fried Steak and Smores were good. The Ribs-If not for the sauce this entrée was a disaster. The ribs were terribly dried and over cooked. Not fall off the bone. The Mac n Cheese was very dry. The corn bread and butter were a match in heaven. If not the for the amazing service, I would not return. The food has some serious missteps. There are so many good restaurants to g"

"As always the food was beyond reproach. I've dined at Tillman's at least a dozen times...every time I try something new & have yet to be disappointed. However, our waiter seemed a bit lost with regard to responsiveness and knowledge of the menu and the like."

"this is never my favorite place, but it was a good change of pace for Easter brunch. I always like it OK, but this is not a restaurant that i feel like I want to always spend my extra calories or money. with all of the options around the 7th street area, this is nowhere near the top of my list of great places to eat."

"We've been to Tillman's many times and have yet to be disappointed, but on our last visit, they truly excelled. Give the pork chops a try -- as our server promised, they are spectacular."

"The food is ALWAYS delicious. I have eaten most things on the menu and never been disappointed. It's a great place for me to take customers friends, and family. I really enjoy that the focus is on quality food instead of quantity."

"Our experience was horrible. They were out of so many things on the menu and wine list that there was very little to choose from. We waited for 15 mins before our server asked for drink orders. The food was brought out in stages."

"The decor of the restaurant is excellent. The service was excellent. Very attentive and involved without being overbearing. The short ribs that is featured on the website.. well, they were out of them. That was a bummer. We did start off with Black Bean Humus. It comes with flour tortillas and finely chopped veggies. I would have liked a few corn chip with it to give it a varying favors between the flour and corn. Since my first choice was not available I went for the Blackened Shrimp and grits. The shrimp was over cooked. Guess there was a real emphasis on 'blackened'. My bride ordered pork chops and found them excellent. Since I am out of characters.. next time"

"Food was great, but we will never be back based on the experience we had with general manager, cherith. She was rude, degrading and clearly has no idea that she works in an industry that requires good customer service. I'd recommend the Tillmans in Dallas..they have great customer service!"

"Everyone at the table thought the food was good. Menu was a little limited. Waiter seemed to come by a little too often but was otherwise a nice young man."

"The food was good. We enjoyed the french fries, cherry Coke, and steak the most. The major down-side to the restaurant is the 20% gratuity that is included for parties of six or more. Our waiter was excellent and well informed; that being the case, he would have received a larger tip if the gratuity wasn't included in our check. The other issue was that it was one of our guest's birthday (the main reason we went out), and when it was mentioned, the restaurant made no effort to make the event special nor memorable. It seemed more like a one-time visit, unfortunately."

"I have been to Tillman's a few times and they never disappoint. The manager is very attentive and makes sure all guests have an amazing experience. The food is always spectacular and I love how the menu changes with the season. You can see the depth of the chef's experience and I am excited to see what will be on the spring menu."
