"My family's experience at Ruth's Chris has always been one of exceptional quality, both in food and service. The food was every bit as great as we anticipated. For a unique dinning experience both food and service needs to be exceptional, which in part is why customers pay the exhorbent prices at this restaurant. Our recent service experience was riddled with problems from the time of arrival to the end of the night, which unfortunately affected the whole dining experience. I am not the type of person to call over a manager and make complaints about staffing, which only serves to make a disappointed situation more uncomfortable . WIll I go back? Absolutely! I do hope that service gets back on track for our next visit."

"We celebrated our 34th anniversary and had a wonderful evening. The restaurant was notified ahead and many of the staff wished us 'happy anniversary and made our celebration perfect with amazing food, attentive service by Michael and beautiful surroundings.

"We've been to Ruth's Chris for special occasions. This time, we went for the prix fixe 3 Course menu. We are in our 60's and just don't eat as much food with each meal. We thought maybe this would be the right size and the right value point for us. It was really good. I made the mistake of upgrading to a regular desert off the main menu. I should not have done that. And my hubby should not have kept that steady flow of bread to the table. We ended up eating too much. But the meal and the service was so good, we will definitely return for the smaller menu with lessons learned. This is a great restaurant."

"We were looking for a place with excellant food and a fairly quiet atmosphere to visit with a friend on an annual visit. The food was good for the most part ... but not as good as other Ruth Chris restaurants I have experienced .... one of the steaks was grisly and not good... the other two meals were excellent.
It is a bustling place ..especially for a Monday night .... and the noise was enough to override our conversation ...in part because of the location of the booth."

"Ruth's Chris is always consistently great food and service at any location. This is more of the same - which might sound negative but is actually very positive. The Palm Desert location met my high expectations for food quality - the simplicity is what I love best about a Ruth's Chris meal. And the service created a wonderful dining experience."

"I want to thank Lori our waitress and Jacob the manager that night for making our evening so enjoyable. We had been there last October and had a horrible experience. We decided to try it again and every thing was perfect. The experience was extremely enjoyable and we cannot wait to go back again."

"Arrived ten minutes late at 8:40
were brought to the table right away
ordered our food and wine at 8:52
complained about the delay with no food at 9:20 were told by the unprofessional waitress that it's normal to take 20 minutes to get food....
IT will come soon....
never saw her again at 9:45 stopped a guy that looked like a manager from the restaurant who apologized and we got our food 5 minutes later
at that point ordered fresh warm bread...asked three times various bus boys
never got our new bread, and had to eat the cold old one from 8:50.....
really frustrating experience
the food though, was divine"

"Always reliable for a great meal and great service, Ruth's Chris comes through again. Took the whole family (2 adults, 3 small kids)for a birthday celebration. Kids had a great time with the crayons and paper provided. Staff always addresses you by name and is very attentive. Extensive wine selection, with some fantastic ports for after dinner. Food is consistently top notch. We'll be back, as usual!"
