"LA is full of overpriced steaks. Ruth's is expensive but worth every penny! My only qualm is that I am not a fan of the first dining area (restaurant is divided in two sections at the BH location). Other than that minor detail, exquisite crab cakes, "cowgirl" ribeyes, and more!"

"I've been to many Ruth's Chris and this one has been my least favorite. We waited for our seating and were placed in a small over lit room at the back of the restaurant. Several items were not on the menu and the food was just ok. I would not return next time I'm in LA. They need to do a much better job for the prices they are charging. They are giving the other excellent Ruth's Chris' a bad name."

"We enjoy a good steak every now and again and when in the mood, make our way to Ruth's Chris. On this particular evening we were a party of six and at first seated in a separate room from the main dining room. A larger and very boisterous party was adjacent to where we sat. The noise level was so loud that we were unable to hear one another speak. We went to the restaurant manager and explained our predicament and they quickly made arrangements to move us into the larger dinning room where it was much quieter. There we enjoyed the company of our family and our meal."

"We always love Ruth's Chris, it never disappoints - food is always great, service is fabulous, ambiance is perfect. My only complaint is, everything happens too fast! I understand restaurants need to turn over tables, but when I'm going to a place like this, I want to linger, just a little. I feel like as soon as the order is placed, everything is rushed out and we're done way too quickly. Otherwise everything else is perfect there."

"Our meal was amazing. The only thing that was a little disappointing was their bread. They usually have excellent bread, but what was served to us was terrible and kept falling apart. They probably gave us an old loaf or something. That is not the norm, but it was still disappointing. The meat is amazing. If you have dietary issues, you can still enjoy their amazing beef as they will provide a grass fed filet with advance notice. It was excellent and it will be ordered again for certain."

"The service was fabulous, food was great. You must try the sweet potato casserole. The Prix-Fixe dinner is a really good buy. There is an eleganct, but not stuffy atmosphere & ambience and you can actually hear what the other person is saying. It's ok to bring your vegetarian friends since the restaurant has an array of vegetarian dishes, from the sweet potato and green bean casseroles, to various kinds of potatoes, creamed spinach and sauteed mushrooms."

"I had not been to Ruth's Chris in a while. I have been to the "other" steak houses and came back to where it all started. The service is very good. The steaks coming out on the 500 degree plates are the best. All other steak houses are trying to get to this level. All of the appetizers and sides are first class. They have a great wine list. "Sizzling hot, buttery, super tender filet mignon highly recommended. So good...I wish I had ordered the regular cut instead of the petite...more delicious meat to eat! The bar-b-q shrimp is a great starter but have them serve it sizzling hot, like we did, since it really showcases its flavor and entices you to scoop up the sauce with the bread on your table. I really liked the half-moon booths and I will be sure to reserve one of these for the next time. These booths are raised just a tad and give you an uplifting feel and view for people watching. People were dressy as well as casual and there was such a buzz in the restaurant, it seemed everyone was having a great time. I sure did!"

"I made reservations to celebrate two of my friends birthday. It was fantastic. They seated us promptly. Our waiter Adrian was the best. He was extremely attentive and everything he recommended was great. Even the support staffer Martin was engaging. Everyone made our visit such a great experience. There was birthday confetti on the table and my friends (and I) received their best desserts. The creme brûlée and chocolate lava cake are divine. Ruth's Chris remains one of my favorite restaurants and has for many years."

"I have under rated this place because it is a chain, but i have to say , every time I go, it holds up. Great friendly service, good side dishes, good martini's, fair wine list, and the steaks always come out consistantly done as requested. I dont think I have ever sent one back for more cooking"

"I hadn't been to a Ruth's Chris is years, and never to the Beverly Hills location, but my memories of this chain restaurant were better than the actual experience. I'm willing to go with the idea that perhaps the one in Beverly Hills isn't their best -- it's small, crowded, and lacks any kind of ambiance. It's location is odd, and once inside it feels more like a sort-of-fancy Italian restaurant then a super-fancy steak house.
The service was... not-so-great. But, with the kind of dough you're shelling out to dine there, I feel like the service should be top-freaking-notch. Thankfully a gift certificate covered most of the bill and we didn't spend more than we were comfortable with for an over all "meh" experience."

"We went to celebrate my mother's eighty nine year birthday. All of the staff were friendly. They acknowledged her and thanked her for celebrating her special day with them. We also had our six year old granddaughter with us who had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic! We are looking forward to going again."

"Consistent food, consistent service. This is a solid choice for a steak dinner. If I order medium rare, the steak comes out medium rare. When ordering Jack Daniels rocks, the drink comes out with a generous pour. The staff is always smiling and willing to make sure the dinner is pleasurable."
