"Members of a national board were coming to meet in Portland, but at an airport hotel. I live in Portland; really wanted them to see more of this beautiful city than the airport. My only chance was dinner. Everyone (8 diners) raved about the ambiance, the view, the food, the food, and the food! Every dish was amazing. And we could hear each other in conversation without shouting. We took a walk after dinner and they loved that, too. They ALL said they would like to meet in Portland again. The raves continued to the next day. I personally also loved the valet parking, as finding a space during the Rose Festival would have ruined a good time. We don't drink, so I cannot rate the wine."

"I wasn't very excited when my husband told me he made a reservation at a Hotel Restuarant, but was very surprised of our experience. The food was an interesting assortment of Pacific NW and Southern Cuisine. We had a Spice Infused Watermelon and Fresh Crab Salad that was to dye for! I highly recommend Three Degrees to anyone looking for a Food Event!"

"Sadly, I left the restaurant and did not order a meal .. The menu changed so dramatically that it didn't fit my dining desires. This location previously offered great breakfast food. The location and setting is lovely and the staff was kind, but the compete overhaul of the menu was a truly bad idea. I will not eat here again nor suggest to a friend .. I hope they have not changed the happy hour menu as dramatically as they changed the breakfast menu!"

"Even though we were the only party in the restaurant for most of the time our waitress needed to be asked to refill water glasses, bring items that we asked for, bring a fork back when it was taken away with appetizer. The food was equally disappointing. Everyone's poached eggs were over cooked, not soft as they are supposed to be and as requested. The view was beautiful, but the rest was way over priced and not that great!"

"I'm all for food experimentation, but it still has to taste good! This restaurant tries too hard to be trendy and unusual without perhaps considering that their creations actually have to make sense on the palate. While none of the food was horrible it definitely wasn't great either. Nothing that we had was a wow, most was merely adequate despite its pretensions. Service and ambiance was good, however, but I can't recommend."

"We were told that the food was served "family style" even though we ordered things like chowder and a hamburger. They were small plates, not sharing size. I received my brisket (again, definitely not big enough to share) before anyone else got their food. Wanted to wait, but it was there long enough that it would have been cold if I had waited. Plates trickled in, but my dad, who orders the burger, had no food the entire time the rest of us ate our meals. My mom and I ordered grilled kale as a salad and it came out AFTER we finished our main meat course. My dad's burger came out at the end when we were finished eating. We also had to wait 25 minutes after ordering for two glasses of wine and a beer. It was overpriced and an unfortunate."

"Restaurant was really busy. Most all tables were continuously full. This did not impede the service. Service was fast, friendly and courteous. Three of us were there for Easter brunch. We were expecting a fourth but there was not a problem rearranging our table for us. Some special adjustments to the menu were asked for to accommodate special diets. Changes were made with no problem. The food was served quickly and was very good. The spicy Bloody Mary is the best! Free valet parking adds to the pluses of this place. No hassle finding parking! Can't beat the waterfront view! We will be back!"

"What a wonderful changeover! The menu is designed to enjoy many courses or stick with a traditional experience. Food was awesome and both the Chef and GM came out to our table to check on our experience. Our service was top notch. The wine list has so many amazing Oregon and Washington choices it made for a difficult decision. The view is awesome. Can't wait to go back!"

"The view of the River is amazing and romantic. Food was good although a very small portion for the price. The waitress seemed like she was annoyed that she had customers. The view and the building were the only really good things. The food and service weren't really anything special."

"Excellent food and service. Expect an adequate but not extensive wine list. Riverside window tables provide a pleasant view of the Willamette River waterfront."

"Beautiful restaurant. The waitress was wonderful and she created a feeling of comfort, relaxation, and bonding immediately. The food wasn't to my liking which was the only drawback. I ordered the special New York cut steak, rare, and it was more medium rare, however it was so covered in pepper (I know many people like it this way, but I'm not one of these) that it was an overwhelming taste that didn't enhance the meat, but rather made it difficult to taste the meat. I will go back again to try some of the other dishes I observed being eaten, but I will make sure to ask how it's prepared before ordering."

"We were setted quickly, service was fast. Salads a big and good, enough for two. I had the duck which was good, my wife had the lamb which was also good. I would recommend this resturant."
