Casually elegant, the Tap Room offers the most sought after view

"An abundant, premium-quality brunch buffet, one worthy of a special occasion but still healthy eating, for the most part. Live music was hack pop and unremarkable. Volume level from both it and the Tap Room was too high for comfort; however, we asked to be seated in the adjacent, romantic 1741 room, with its beautiful windows, which made all the difference in our dining experience. We went on a holiday, so there was a cast of thousands, managed remarkably well by the staff. Of note: holiday fish selections, carvery station, a melted brie en croute. An array of bite-sized desserts and a chocolate fountain. Separate small buffet table for children. Respectful service. As good a brunch as any country club chef could deliver."

"The brunch buffet at Hotel Bethlehem is always a wonderful occasion. With a huge selection of items to pick from and gigantic dessert selection it is a wonderful treat within the Lehigh Valley. If you are looking for a special occasion out for brunch you cannot go wrong here."

"The Tap Room is a fun place to go - nice atmosphere, laid back, but a large table may find it difficult to hear others because the room is fairly loud. Limited menu, but there is something for everyone on it. The wine list is fairly small, but there is a good range for selection, so you should something that you like."

"We are vegan and that's why I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars. Choices were extremely limited. There wasn't even much we could ask the chef to modify which we don't mind doing. That said the food was VERY expensive for what we had but it was VERY delicious. If you don't mind paying $100 for 2 glasses of wine, 2 bowls of soup, 2 salads and 2 hummus appetizers it's a good place. I would only go for a very special occasion. A bit of a cut in price would draw me back much more often!"

"My two daughters, my three year old granddaughter, and I attended the Mother's Day Brunch. The restaurant was beautiful, the hostess and wait staff were all pleasant, courteous, and very attentive. The food was outstanding - there was a varied assortment to choose from and the buffet was presented in a beautiful and easy to access manner. My granddaughter said she felt like a "princess"!"

"The Mother's Day brunch was wonderful - the selection and quality of food were fabulous. Service was a little slow for drinks and plate clearing but the staff was super busy with the large crowd, so to be expected I guess. Lovely piano music provided by a very talented young man! "The Hotel Bethlehem is a lovely setting for a Sunday morning brunch. The variety of food was good though needed to be replenished more frequently. The Ballroom was very pretty but the noise was a bit invasive. Overall though we enjoyed ourselves and our birthday celebration."

"we felt strongly that for the price you pay it was not worth that for the brunch. They use to have a senior rate also which was not applied to our bill. some of the food in the buffet section was cold (bacon and sausage) and it seemed the offering for the brunch was less than what we had in previous visits. "Easter brunch was delightful. We sat in the terrace room and we enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and high ceilings and windows. Food was excellent- everything from fresh seafood, cheese bar, omelette station, carving station, and a host of hot dinner and breakfast items. The desert bar was nicely done with petite servings so you could sample various items. Service was very good although the maitre de could have been a little more friendly. He stood on the steps looking very stressed and not very welcoming but outside of that, we thoroughly enjoyed it and will return again."

"Although we have been there before and didn't like it as much when it wasn't a racial occasion, Easter brunch has been fantastic for 3 years in a row now. Each time we have had children with us. The first 2 years we had toddlers and a newborn and it worked out well. This year it was great, they even had a magician."

"Brunch food was spectacular all from the omelete station to the huge table of scrumptious desserts. I really enjoyed my time at the the hotel Bethlehem. Our waiter was just okay she didn't arrive at our table for a couple of minutes so we were not really sure how to proceed but when she saw us get up to over to the food she came over and gave us the awkward long talk while I was sitting and my husband was standing. Very odd. But overall it was great food and that's what matters to us."

"Everything about our visit to Hotel Bethlehem was great. Only one thing was off. My wife's meal (Ribs) were cooked but cold. We hate to complain so we didn't. The chef probably would have liked to know this info. But we let it go. We love this place and we will definitely return."

"We arrived at Noon and the menu they gave us was for lunch. We kept thinking they had brunch because we had been there a few weeks before and had breakfast items. They were more than happy to accomodate us and gave us the breakfast menu as well. Staff is very attentive without being on top of you. Just a nice relaxing way to spend your morning or afternoon."

"I was there for an annual Valentine's brunch with my spouse and it was the first time we tried this locale. The omelete line was about fifteen or twenty deep. The seperate dishes were rarely filled and the customers were in an uproar the whole time. The waitress service was very good as far as filling your drinks was concerned. On an "average" Sunday morning, they might not be as busy but for the money and lack of selection, I would not recommend it."

"Of course the ambience is perfect, a beautiful historic hotel. Always comfortable. The people who work there always seem to be nice. But, there is a but, I realize it was Valentine's Day, but my husband's entree, a fish dinner, was the smallest portion I think we have ever seen, eating at many nice restaurants, and a bit pricey, for what we thought was an appetizer portion. The lovely hostess stopped by our table and I think she even felt sorry for my husband and offered to bring him a side of mashed potatoes, which he gladly accepted. Other than that, a nice evening in general."

"I had valentines dinner with my daughter, even though there were several couples having a romantic dinner our server was excellent and was very sweet to my 10 year old , who thought it was great having dinner out on valentines day. Our dinner was excellent, and not off a special menu which is always a pleasant surprise on a special day. Thank you . We live in town and visit frequently for lunch, but I think we found a new favorite for dinner!"

"We went to Tap Room for Valentine's dinner. It was beautiful and upscale. The service was great. Very formal atmosphere but could still get away with casual clothing. We thought the food was ok. It was presented very well but for the price, it wasn't as tasty as we expected. Would probably try somewhere else next time."
