LIV Restaurant is the award-winning, unforgettable gem, located at White Oaks Resort in Niagara on the Lake. The locally inspired wine list, lighting and music in LIV provide a fantastic backdrop to a spectacular dining experience. The service exemplifies the Four Diamond level the hotel is known for and provides for an experience truly beyond expectations.
Chef Michael Price and his team have done something extraordinary. They have taken Canada’s Basic Food Guide and transformed it through international cooking styles and seasonings to create an unparalleled, globally inspired four diamond menu. All of the ingredients are natural, each one chosen for its uncompromising purity. Our team are more than willing to come out of the kitchen (time permitting) to discuss the menu or any special dietary concerns you may have.
The menu changes slightly every season to take advantage of the locally grown produce that is so abundant in the Niagara Region. The atmosphere is chic/sexy.

"I am an extreme foodie who cooks delicious and clean, with whole foods on a daily basis. This makes it difficult to find restaurants that are to par with that diet. I looked at the menu at Liv before I was arriving at the hotel, and there is a reason I followed through with making a reservation: I had trouble just picking ONE thing to order from the menu. A very good sign in itself.
As for the experience, it lived up to as well as exceeded my predictions. I terms of food, delicious, fresh, simple and clean, prepared fantastically and I'm sure every other dish I didn't order would have been the same. This is the main thing that will get me to come back to Whiteoaks.. To try another dish off of Liv's menu!"

"Special occasions brought us back to Liv. 3 birthdays this time were celebrated. As always, Ruth's outstanding service was the topping on the cake. Food was good as expected. Accommodation of our food allergies is never a concern with Ruth taking care of us. I would like to see the presentation on the "Sea Scallop" entree recreated. It has been the same for quite some time now. Different from our first encounters however. Ruth, thanks again for making our visit top notch!"

"I chose LIV for the place to propose to my girlfriend. The restaurant was extremely romantic, private, and the perfect place for a special occasion. It is rated 4 star, I would personally rate it closer to a 5 star. The food was excellent, and the service and staff were even better. The complementary glasses of champagne after I "popped" the question was totally unexpected and added to a very special evening.
We are now considering White Oaks for our wedding and reception next year.
We would recommend LIV to anyone, and everyone looking for a special place, for a special event, for a special person. Truly outstanding."

"We celebrated our 15th Anniversary at LIV, it was by far THE best anniversary to date. We opened our menus to Happy Anniversary salutations, a lovely touch. Our server Jeff was beyond outstanding, he created a night filled with memories and ambiance, complete with complimentary, celebratory champagne. He answered all our questions and gave us amazing recommendations, his extensive menu knowledge was impressive.The Shellfish 4x and Marinated Korean Beef Rolls were an excellent way to start our evening! Our mains were just as scrumptious and the Flourless Chocolate Armaggedon Cake was to die for! Cannot say enough about the staff and environment of this restaurant, we hope to get back before Jeff is off to Med school in Ireland."

"My husband and I dined here to celebrate our anniversary. When we were sat at our table we were asked if we were celebrating any special occasion and we told the server it was our anniversary. My husband ordered the rack of lamb which was excellent and I ordered the pasta special of the day in a chipolte sauce which was excellent also. For dessert we ordered a sample platter which had 4 different desserts. When the plate was brought to us it had "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate! That was a very nice touch and made us feel special."

"Went for a weekend getaway. My wife an I have a wonderful time. Extremely relaxing and enjoyable meal. The tables were a bit large for a romantic dinner so I pulled myself around to sit next to her. Took a few inquisitive looks for other guests, but staff were quite accommodating."

"Liv is an exceptional restaurant with wonderful ambience, impeccable service, superb food that is well presented and attention to detail. My family celebrates my mother's birthday at Liv every year and we always are amazed at our experience. There was a birthday card and champagne waiting for us upon arrival to the table; the server remembered what drinks, wine and food we had last year and was very attentive to our every need; there was a special dessert for my mother and we were all given beautifully wrapped banana bread to take with us. Anyone coming to Niagara should think about staying at White Oaks and dining at their restaurant, Liv."

"My girlfriend and I ordered a lot of different dishes [because I like to over-order for the variety]. It was hit-and-miss. Nothing was bad, but while some of the dishes were fantastic, some were simply average. For the price, and how they portray themselves, I expected everything to be great. Overall, it was still an enjoyable experience."

"It was or 30th wedding anniversary and the staff was so kind and considerate, we were served a glass of Sparkling wine on the house and also as a parting gift was given home made banana bread. My husband and daughter ate it the next day and said it was delicious.
Our server and I do apologize I do not remember her name as it was different but did beging with an E, I thought it sounded like Elisha but I am not sure, she was outstanding, attentive, friendly and made our first experience at Liv a night to remember."

"Bit of a mixed feeling on this restaurant. On the one hand I had left a request through OpenTable reservations to note it was a special occasion and have to say that the service staff in the restaurant went out of their way to make the entire evening feel special for us (over the top drinks and custom desert). On the other hand, we found the food we ordered to be a bit of a mess, and in my case overcooked (not to the point of it being inedible by any means). On this night neither my wife or I enjoyed the food, but the atmosphere and incredible serving staff overwhelmingly made our experience quite enjoyable. Due to the service staff I would be more than willing to give this restaurant another shot any day."

"Though we live in Niagara, we never think to go to Liv at White Oaks Resort & Spa. We decided to try it out for the NOTL "Fabalicious" even this past weekend. It was fantastic. The ambience is lovely...sort of ethereal and new age. The service was wonderful, attentive but not overdone. And the food, which is ultimately why you go, was great! We would definitely go back."

"My boyfriend and I went for dinner to celebrate his 20th birthday. From the birthday greeting in his menu to the complimentary champagne we received to celebrate his birthday, the night was spectacular. The staff was polite, friendly, and incredibly knowledgable. My boyfriend and I both work in Hospitality and we were delighted by how professional the staff was and by how they paid attention to the little things.
