Francesca’s at The Promenade proudly offers customer-focused special events in the “Mayor’s Room”, our private dining room. Our philosophy of simple, rustic cooking served in a casual sophisticated trattoria setting translates flawlessly to group dining. Our private room can offer both an intimate yet lively atmosphere with the ability to accommodate groups as small as 10 and as large as 30. Perfect for social events, company outings and family get-togethers, consider hosting your next event at Francesca’s!
Our traditional family-style dining called “Tavoli di Amici” (or “Table of Friends”) creates a lively and interactive meal. Group parties have the ability to choose from a wide selection of menu items to be shared for a full taste of Francesca’s cuisine. From signature salads to pasta specials, guests are able to enjoy the tastes of Italy spanning four or five courses. An extensive selection of wines and hourly beverage packages are also available if you choose.

"Our seating preferences were taken into consideration and we had a fun evening. All four of us had different pasta dishes and all were very good. Francesca's is a reliable dining experience. It is nice for a special occasion but also relaxed. Although the restaurant was busy, we were still able to easily carry on a conversation."

"This was my first time eating at this restaurant with a couple of colleagues....what a dissapointment. Service was horrible. Restaurant was almost empty and still our server couldn't be seen anywhere...never came back to check on us or refill our drinks.
The food was absolutely tasteless and bland...no salt, no pepper, no spices...nothing.

"We have dined here before, but Saturday, we were surprised by the poor service!! Menu had changed, which was disappointing. Waiters were not that friendly, they were taking away plates the second we put down our fork! After dinner, took forever to place dessert order, never came back to ask if we wanted refill of coffee! Very disappointed with service and menu!! Will not go back :("

"Another excellent dinner at Francesca's in the Bolingbrook Promenade. My husband and I both ordered the fish special and it was wonderful - light lemon sauce and cooked to perfection. We shared the proscuitto and artichoke appetizer and an excellent dessert of poppyseed cake with a light strawberry sauce. The decor is lovely, with a fireplace and moderate lighting. Service is attentive and knowledgable."

"One of our favorite restaurants in the western suburbs and definitely our favorite Francesca's. The ambiance is very nice with a water feature, fireplace, cozy bar and deep booths. The food, as always, was excellent. We started with an appetizer of proscuitto, cheese and tomatoes that was delicious. All three of us then had the fish special, which also was delicious. The service was great. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to eat at "prime time" on the weekends."

"I continue to be disappointed by the entire Francesca’s chain. The Promenade location is no different. This will be last visit. The overall quality of the experience from food to service has really dropped off. And the various Chicago area Francesca’s use to be one of my favorite places to have dinner. "It was Valentine's Day and it wasn't overly crowded, but service was terribly slow. When we were brought to our table, we were almost pushed out of the way so the busboy could put the water on the table. Very rude. Then there was only one napkin/utensil setting so I asked for utensils and they were brought to me, but still no napkin. I had to ask for that. We ordered two glasses of wine and it took 7 minutes for our wine to be brought to the table. But thank goodness we had those glasses of water that had to be on the table before we sat down! Will not ever return."

"I ordered the Chicken with pasta. The chicken seemed very dry, I didnt even finish it. My son had pizza nd my wife had Ravoli. Which was good. We asked the waitress to wrap my son's and wife's dinner to take home. ( I wanted no part of my dinner taken home). They ended up giving us the couples dinner across from us. They had to go digging in our bag after the couple complained that they couldnt find there dinner. Not sure I will go back again."

"We met for a small reunion of sorts. It was perfect. The service was great. We had to wait for our 6th person in the party, and there was no pressure from the waiter. He was around if we needed him, but he did not hover. The food was very good. Big portion, had to take home. Would have loved to enjoy more wine, but had a long drive home as the others did too. "My husband and I were impressed with the atmosphere. Our server was subpar, but to his defense, a table next to us kept him very busy with their constant questions regarding their dietary restrictions. I ordered the crab cakes, which was one of the specials, and was very happy with them. They tasted amazing, and I really enjoyed the sauce that came with them. I received two large crab cakes that were full of flavor, and very filling, enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day. My husband ordered the filet. It was very large, and cooked perfectly, although it didn't taste like a high quality piece of meat. He really liked the potatoes that were served along side with the filet. We would go back."

"Pretty place, but we were seated in an area that seemed sterile and unfriendly to me. Service was friendly, but slow. The drinks we ordered took a long time to arrive, and I feel certain the Tanqueray and tonics we ordered were not Tanqueray. I wasn't sure what to do about that. Food was what we expected from a Francesca's restaurant. At about 7:45, they had run out of the entree I wanted. I would not go back to the Bolingbrook location."

"The place was very attractive inside and out. Unfortunately, we were in between lunch and dinner and the staff was sweeping the floor near where we were eating and I didn't appreciate that. The food was average and we aren't planning to go back."
