Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen offers an alternative to traditional Mexican cuisine. "My wife and I use to frequent Cha Cha's until we moved further away. It's now a 30 min drive w/o traffic. We both asked, why haven't we been here recently...and we'll be back often and soon after the refresher as to our love for their awesome food, wonderful service and upbeat atmosphere. "ChaCha's menu has improved since opening and the staff is always pleasant & professional. Note to self: Never sit inside! Yelling at your table mates is tiring, the noise level inside is intolerable. Our group of 4 passed on coffee & dessert so that we could go back to our house, brew our own and continue the conversations started at the restaurant. Same issue persists w/their sister restaurant Bruno's - sit on the patio for the best experience."

"We found the food lacking in flavor (under seasoned). We were hungry and were disappointed to know that appetizers were not being offered even though they were on the brunch menu. Also, we do not drink alcoholic drinks so we requested plain orange juice instead of mimosas and we were charged. How is that fair?"

"Nice place. My wife and I have been to the one in Brea twice. Our first times were in separate days and with friends. On my first visit with my college friends, this was at lunch, I noticed a not so inviting smell in the restaurant or in the area we sat. I thought maybe it would go away if I go the second time for my son's bday. That evening at dinner, I smelled it again. I think I know what it is. The rag that was used to wipe the seats were not dried properly. It may be washed or unwashed. Mngement should check their cleaning materials on seats, tables, and floors. It's leaving a pungent smell. They should use paper towels or white rags on the seats so they can use some bleach when washing to disinfect, and should be dried properly."

"ChaCha's is always a great value on their promo nights (Taco Tuesdays, Date Night Monday, etc..) but we also often go here and gladly pay full price. The service this week was slow and we sat without water for some time on occasion but overall the waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. "Great place my friends and I have always love coming here. Towards the end of the week they have a excellent Latin Band but sitting inside and with the band can get a little loud. "I loved the atmosphere very upbeat, band was good and overall employees were nice. I did have "issues" with my reservation, I had requested patio seating knowing it may or may not be a guarantee on the online reservation & the hostess just proceeded to take us inside, I was a little upset that she did not address the issue prior to seating us, at least let us know that there is no patio seating & leave it at my discretion if I wanted to wait longer or not. I had to stop her & let her know my preference & she replied it would be a longer wait which in turn I agreed. I waited for another 10-15 mins that's all. The food is DEELISH here, very pricey for appetizers though, but they were having a special Restaurant Week deal that was great deal!"

"My group and I came here for Restaurant Week. We had a large group and the waiter was very attentive and accommodating. I had the mahi mahi tacos which lacked flavor but my friend who had the salmon said it was very flavorful and yummy!
The only complaint I had is the noise level. It was a Friday night with live music and i get it the restaurant is trying to bring in energy. However the restaurant isn't that big so the noise level was really too much. I would go back on a less noisy night.
Overall we all had a great time. Good food with great company."

"The only negative, and it is a big one, is the noise. We chose to eat outside even though it was quite chilly, even with the heaters on. The noise out there got to the point where I was shouting to my wife instead of talking. Inside was much worse, and the bar was rediculous. Otherwise, we enjoyed the restaurant week special."

"My wife and I went to dinner on Valentine's Day. There was a pre-set menu -- I thought the regular menu would be available, too. Our server was terrific and she really did a great job. I heard the chips and salsa were the best -- please! Not even close. Great margaritas.
I had to send my Classic Lime back. It was not good -- the Cha Chas Margarita with ruby red grapefruit was much better. At the suggestion of our server, my wife ordered her Carne Asada medium -- it came out fairly close to tartar. C'mon Man! These guys should be able to cook Carne Asada blindfolded. I was really looking forward to eating here. We won't be back."
