"Service was good. We never waited long for our server to come gather drink orders. Monday night is 1/2 price wine night, so we ordered a bottle of Tuscan red wine. had the Chicken Marsala (a favorite of mine) and my wife had the Breaded Eggplant. My meal was perfect. The marsala sauce was done perfectly and paired with Fettucine Alfredo. Two large breast portions and a goodly amount of Fettucine. I could only eat half, but that was great since I got to have the leftovers for lunch today! My wife's eggplant was not as fantastic. It seemed that the eggplant was a little underdone and crunchy. The sauce and pasta that came with it was excellent, so overall, we were pleased."

"Service was awful once we ordered. No one came back for 20 minutes or so after our order. We had empty water glasses, etc. By the time the food came out, the veal parmesan was luke warm and had to be sent back. They asked if we wanted fresh parmesan, we said yes, then no one came back to actually give it to us! They were very apologetic but didn't comp any of the dinner! Surprising."

"I hope I spelled it like it was listed on your menu. Several years ago we ordered this absolutely scrumptious stew. On Anniversary we ordered it again. This time the liquid was a tomatoe like Marinara sauce instead of the Brothy stew liquid we loved so much several years ago. The fish was the same and delicious.Being Italian I have a recipe that has the brothy liquid will make it at home next time.
I mentioned to the waiter and he stated that some chefs have different methods of presenting. I understand and can say that it was delicious. However, I was expecting the brothy stew with the triangular toasts.
Other than that, loved the whole experience and appreciated the free dessert for our Anniversary! Thanks so much."

"The seafood risotto was good but way too much garlic. Also, it tasted like a lot of onion, however, the garlic and onion were not listed as ingredients. We would not order this dish again. The wedge of salad and bread were very good.
We will return and try different items. Service (Rex) was great and the atmosphere was very nice. Can't wait to return."

"We went to Vittoria for their holiday brunch buffet. The price was pretty average for a holiday, about $30 for adults, but kids 6 and under were free meaning that our two children were free. The food was good, and our waiter was great. I would not say that the food was excellent, it was just good. No complaints, but I don't think I will drive there to eat again (I live in Clintonville)."

"Decided for the first time in 23 yrs. to go out for Mother's Day. What a great decision! Everything was absolutely wonderful. This is our "go to" spot during the rest of the year, but the first time we've tried the buffet (offered Easter and Mother's Day only). OUTSTANDING!"

"We have dined at Vittoria's on several other occasions and have always enjoyed our visit there. On Friday, 5-3-13, we chose to eat at there to celebrate our 26th anniversary. While we found the food to be very good, the service was very disappointing. Our server Daniel seemed to disappear from us continuously. We weren't offered a drink when we were greeted and when he finally came back, he wanted to take our food order, as well as our drink order. At least 10 minutes elapsed between each visit made to our table. It appeared that he was working tables outside on the patio in addition to ours--on the opposite side of the restaurant. We were never asked if we wanted a 2nd drink and our water glasses went unfilled during the meal."

"The food and service were very good. The restaurant was more fancy than the 'casual' notation on the website. Nice big bar. One problem we noted. The tables were so close together that the wait staff kept bumping into ours when trying to squeeze between the tables. At one point, the pitcher of water and my glass dumped over, luckily they dumped away from me or I'd have been very wet. The waiter was very apologetic & it was clearly not his fault. The tables were just too close together for anyone to get by comfortably carrying food and drinks. I would try this restaurant again, though."

"As usual the food was good, except the veal was a little dry, and the service at the table was very good. I found the wait for our table way too long for having reservations! We had resies at 7pm, but were told "it would be just a few minutes" wait...that few minutes turned into almost a half hour! If this is Vittoria's way of selling more drinks at the bar, they had better re-think that idea!

"I really ejoyed this restaurant. Beautiful inside, excellent service. We had a party of 8, and everyone enjoyed the food - I would have given 4 1/2 starts on the food if possible, but a couple of the meals were good, but not great. The claim sauce was a bit "crunchy." The Pistachio Chicken was fantastic. Wine pricing was a bit high, but I'll defintitely go back."

"Noisy bar and rest. area. Was not that busy in rest. area but were out of pork chops. Strip steak was ordered in place of chops. I don't think the kitchen knows how to cook stem. Was a bad selection of near, fat, grizzle. Another person of our 8 was served veal in place of chicken. Kitchen swore it was chicken but once they saw it confirmed it was veal. Third person returned their partly eaten dinner un palatable. Pre dinner salad left a lot to be desired with head lettuce. For not being busy in the rest. area it was a very dissatisfying dinner for 8 of us. Very noisy bar area which carried over into the rest."

"As I have noted before, try something Italian when you are here, it's always good!
There is nothing I can say negatively about Vittoria. We visit here frequently and had a great meal and service for a party of seven.
My only wish is they upgrade the cabernet by the glass offerings."

"This was our third trip to Vittoria and we were not disappointed. I had the linguine al' vongole, which was excellent. Lots of clams that were presented open in the shell. It was a very generous portion that I was able to enjoy again for lunch the next day. My wife had the chicken pistachio, which she said was quite good as well.
Vittoria's bread is excellent. We took the leftover bread home, which I used to soak up the extra clam sauce in my leftovers. That was almost a meal in itself.
The Caesar salad was just OK. It's described as a traditional presentation, but it's not. A true Caesar has anchovies rubbed on the inside of the bowl. The dressing was good but not great.
The interior of this restaurant is very nicely done."

"There was not one thing that I disliked. The ambiance was amazing- romantically lite candles, beautiful romanesque columns on either side of the dining room, and gorgeous hardwood floors. The seafood risotto was great and served in large portions, so it is great for leftovers! The service was timley and we were given plenty of time between appetizers, entrée, and dessert. The overall experience was outstanding and Vittoria is a place to go to enjoy friends, family, and food!"

"we used to go to Vittoria all the time and stopped when they changed management, the wine list and menu. It wasn't fun anymore. Fridays dinner was excellent and the service was great. We will go there more often now that they are going back to their roots."

"We had a 7:30 reservation and did not get seated until close to 8:00. My fish was extremely overdone. This is the first time this has happened to me. Normally, this is one of my favorites restaurant. We go 4-8 times/month, if even to sit at the bar and have a light dinner. We were extremely surprised. Might have been due to it being St. Pat's day."

"We love the refined and upscale feel of Vittoria. The food is always good and the service, impeccable. The wine list is quite adequate, and by-the-glass servings are generous.
