"Glad I made a reservation. Beef carpaccio was really good. Salad was decent. I ordered the chicken for the main. Chicken was cooked to perfection but the accompaniments were lacking any flavor or texture. I ordered the blueberry dessert and the waiter was right...it was basically a blue berry muffin. My friend ordered the rosemary panacotta - texture was spot on. Not a fan of rosemary in a dessert. I would go back to try again."

"The atmosphere created by the paintings is dark and doesn't fit the overall ambiance. I had the four course, prefixe meal. The carpaccio was bland, the salad was only slightly above average, the chicken was moist and flavorful, and the rosemary panacotta was interesting, but not a standout.. All in all, I thought the meal was overpriced at $40/person."

"My first experience at Northeast Social was fabulous! Both the food & service were exceptional. The Pre-Fixe dinner was 4 courses of deliciousness. Getting a table reservation was quick and easy. "Our group of four enjoyed the exceptional food at Northeast Social. We all had the halibut entree which was one of the evening's specials. It was perfectly cooked and attractively presented. The salads we had as appetizers were also delicious and very generous, of sufficient size to be split. A minor complaint is the price for wine - it would be helpful to have more choices under $40. Also it is quite noisy even with an early evening reservation - not a place to go when you want to have a relaxing conversation with friends. We would, however, go back for the food which is very reasonably priced for the quality provided."

"The food wasn't just good, it was memorable. Everyone in our party raved about what they ordered. Every morsel was prepared perfectly, and it all made sense on the plate. Our server was outstanding. "I love the Social! I'm tiring of pretentious chefs around town, with pretentios wait staff to go along with the whole experience, and NE Social has none of that. The waitstaff on my 3 recent visits has been easy going but attentive and accommodating and right there when you need them. The food is excellent, my favorites being the beef carpaccio, the butterleaf salad, the Amish chicken, and the rosemary honey panna cotta to die for. My friends had the mussels and they looked fantastic too. This is my new favorite, go-to place.

"First time at Northeast Social and it was great. The service was awesome and the food was quite good. Had the oysters (great) and calamari (nothing special) for apps. Main courses were varied amongst our table - Scallops (daily special), chicken, pork tenderloin, and ribeye. Everyone raved about their meals. Atmosphere is cozy as it's not a huge place and it was comfortable.
My MIL said it was the best food she's ever had. I'm not sure I would go that far but it was very good. I'd go back."

"We arrived and unfortunately the group before us arrived late and our table was not ready. Since it was an 8pm reservation we were starved. But we decided to hit the bar - not much room there but still really cool. Management came up and said they heard what happened and offered us a bottle of wine on the house - any issues... um... quickly went away a bottle later. They know customer service! We finally get seated and it was just a lot of fun from there. Our waiter was great - dealt with our shenannigans and had great advice and just kind of played along with the fun. We also get to buy the kitchen drinks and you hear a ton of clanging when they do their drinks. Great time! Just have to figure a better parking strategy in the neighborhood."

"This place would not be kid friendly. The hostess was not the most polite, but the server made up for it. I was a little sad by the food, because I was not overwhelmed and our steaks were cold, and so were are veggies. I probably wouldn't go here again, unless there was a very special occasion to draw me back. They had a good selection of wines and some beers. I got the impression they had a larger beer selection, but seem to cater more towards wine."

"Our table was on long banquette that gives a cozy, intimate feel without feeling like the next table is part of your party. The decor is interesting from the tin ceiling to the slightly weird art that demands a little study. Our waitress was great. When I asked for a recommendation for wine, she described 3 very different whites, including some not on the menu and then brought a small taste of each. My salad had a nice, homemade ranch and included some sweet blood oranges. I ordered a ribeye on pureed sweet potatoes. It was done perfectly and was melt-in-the mouth tender. My dining mates had sirloin and scallops, all were very pleased. We've eaten at Northeast Social more that 5 previous times and I've always been very happy."

"You really find out how good the service is when something goes wrong, and your server and the support staff handle everything perfectly. Thoughtful, attentive service and well prepared, fresh, interesting dishes. Average wine list (unlike, say, Wild Acres), but a fantastic overall experience and meal. Recommended."

"2nd time at NE Social this year, with good reason to return. 5star food, perhaps not, but the overall service, food and vibe makes for a great experience. Took my date here last Saturday night and we both had a great time. The server was super friendly and attentive. A recommended spot for a date, just plan on a quick martini down the street prior to dinner and you're set for a fun night."
