"I took my wife to Cobalt Grille for our anniversary and we were both very happy with the entire experience. The food was amazing and arrived a lot faster than we had both imagined it would since the restaurant was completely full. The server was very energetic and was extremely helpful with the menu. I will definitely recommend the restaurant and go back again."

"Wife and I went there to celebrate our 26th anniversary. We had been trying to go there for 3 years. Picked a great night to go. The place was really quaint. Our server was Excellent. Saw some other couples there also having a romantic dinner. Drinks were good, food was delicious and Desserts were GREAT. To top it off, our server suprised us by bringing us two glasses of Champagne to toast our special day. I recommend this place to everyone"

"Love the food at Cobalt - ate there on Tuesday. Cobalt was packed but it turns out that Tuesdays are "burger night" and the restaurant was so noisy that we could not even have a conversation without yelling. Food was fabulous but the noise was awful."

"Service was outstanding. Just the right amount of attention. Server was relaxed, knowledgable, and anticipated our needs while being warm and friendly. Food was some of the best I've had in the area. Calamari was tender and light. Beef tenderloin in red wine sauce just divine. Presentation lovely. Topped the experience by sharing deep fried Oreos that melt in your mouth."

"Unassuming from the outside, elegant from the moment you walk thru the door, Cobalt Grille is a true find. Not inexpensive, but worth it, the food delights and the wine list is superb. Lauren, our server, was on top of of every need, courteous, charming, and incredibly knowledgable. And, from casual observation of the tables around us, she was not the exception. The nightly specials list was extensive, but the fixed menu was just as diverse. We ordered from both, and all the food was perfectly prepared, delicious, and just the right quantities. It was an anniversary dinner to remember."

"I have been to Cobalt Grill many times and I have always rated it five stars. This is the first time in over 5 years where I have something not so positive to say. From the moment we walked in the door the staff was excellent. From the hostesses to the bar service and the kitchen...PERFECT. Except for our dinner service. The waitress was not very welcoming or friendly. She didn't introduce herself and only showed a sign of life at the end of our meal. What's worse was we were celebrating getting engaged and there was a note of it in our dinner resos. Aside from the champagne from the manager, the server was not their best. Other than that, it's absolutely TOP NOTCH food, wine and ambience. GO DINE THERE!! Enjoy and bon appétit!!"

"Group of 4 for Mother's Day. Maybe my expectations were too high, but for $30. a meal I thought it could have been much better!
I felt a special Mother's Day menu should be SPECIAL. The food lacked sophistication and creativity. The mashed potatoes were so dry as to be almost inedible. The crab stuffed ravioli was much TOO rich! The dip sum donuts for dessert were too oily, and the sauce for those tasted like Hershey's canned syrup. On a more positive note, the She Crab Soup was great, the salmon looked beautiful (didn't get to taste it), and my mother finished her pork and loved it. The bread pudding dessert was also delicious! Pricing needs to be lowered by at least 20% for this offer to be appealing in the future!"

"This was Mother's Day - as such I was apprehensive in that we had not dined here before. Prior customers had many good things to say, so the Karma was right. To say that we enjoyed ourselves would be an understatement. The food was exquisite, the service impeccable and the surroundings were attractive and clean. We each had different dishes - New Zealand Rack of Lamb, Salmon, Duck Breast and Pork Chop. All were Yummy. Cooked to perfection. This is a must revisit! Thank you Chef Williams."

"Finally got a chance to try Cobalt Grille and felt it lived up to the reviews. Three of us tried the Kobe appetizer with the hot stone and enjoyed it. The lamb chops, pork ribeye and filet made our evening unforgetable. We will be back. I did notice that bread is now available upon request."

"The server was well informed but warm and professional at the same time. While one entre was spot-on amazing, specifically the lamb chops. The other was so immersed in sauce that you couldn't find the ribeye and the flavors did not mesh very well..a disappointment after the great appetizers. "My wife and I had a belated Valentine's Day dinner on Saturday night and it was absolutely wonderful. Our favorite spot in Virginia Beach, the food at Cobalt Grille is always great, the atmosphere relaxing and the service peerless. My wife chose the Flounder Rockefeller while I ordered the Filet Mignon with shrimp scampi and mushrooms. Both were masterfully prepared and delicious. We also tried the dessert sampler, which was perfect for chocoholics like us. To top it off, our server, Arden, took great care of us and went out of her way to make the meal perfect. We always have high expectations when we dine at Cobalt Grille and it never fails to impress."
