"We ate here for a birthday celebration. It was amazing. Our server was fantastic. He was attentive without being invasive. The food was fabulous. It was a Monday night so it was relatively empty but there were still some people in the restaurant. However, the noise wasn't overbearing. All in all, a great experience and I will definitely be returning."

"The food was excellent as was the service. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. In addition to the complimentary dessert provided by most fine restaurants, they had an added special touch. When we arrived, the table cloth was decorated with colorful little pieces that people sometimes put in cards, and there was a birthday card waiting for him that the staff had signed. It was a very enjoyable way to celebrate a special occasion. We will definitely return."

"The food and service were outstanding. Our excellent server came by to check on each course to ensure we were pleased and the manager came by during the meal to ask if all was well, too. Steaks - kona ribeye, au poivre bone in strip and porcini rub strip bone in. They were all great and cooked pretty much to order. Expensive but worth the occasional celebration."

"As always CG was great food was awesome service was great. It's one of my faviorite restarunts to visit . The service is always exceptional and food well that's what's keeps me going back. "Received a free calamari appetizer voucher from my hotel, which although left in my room, was honored by the Manager. This was appreciated. While CG is one of my favorite restaurants, the last two times I have dined there was decidedly inferior. The steaks have been thinner and unevenly cooked. The wine selections are still very good. Will think twice before going again real soon. Unfortunate for me."

"I visit CG all the time but on this visit to CG on Valentine's Day was awhole new experience they were awesome.
I was seated promptly,I was even given a rose by the waiter and he was just awesome from beginning to end he was always there if we needed anything he was a step ahead at all times.The food was delicious I had the salmon and it was cooked perfect my boyfriend had the filet migon and he really enjoyed it because it was cooked just how he asked and he never gets that it's always wrong but this night everything was great.we had the creme brûlée for desert and it was really good.at the the waiter gave us some truffles to take home. I was just great everyone was so friendly the food was awesome never had a dinning experience like this"

"It's Capital Grille - what else would you expect but top notch food and service. We had a fantastic Valentines Day celebration. The restaurant was booked solid for the evening but the quality of food and service did not suffer. Everything was delicious. The only slight issue was that my girlfriend ordered the Porterhouse steak Medium and it came out slightly more than medium and after resting there was very little pink left. I could have easily returned it but it was fine and quality and tenderness of this USDA Prime Dry Aged steak was fantastic. Did I mention they offered to cut it off the bone for my girlfriend? Also the Manager stopped by near the end to ask how everything was and threw in a free cheesecake dessert. Nice touch."

"We went to the Capital Grille to celebrate both a birthday and Valentine's day, and it was a great experience. Capital Grille had decorated a table for us and provided a birthday card for my husband; a small, but thoughtful gesture. They also gave roses to all the ladies for Valentine's day, and it's these little touches that made it such a great experience. Both the food and the service were also good, and as a result, I will definetly return!"

"We sat in the bar area and made a reservation requesting the "Bar menu" based on friends' recommendations. When we were seated, we were only offered the regular menu . We had to specifically request the Bar menu. The lamb "lollipops" on that menu ($16 for 4-chops) are outstanding and are alone a great reason to come back. So were the truffle/parmesan fries."

"My steak and my wife's salmon were superb. The mashed potatoes and creaked spinach sides were quite ordinary. The food came out of the kitchen too fast. It was reataurant week so that may be why things were full speed ahead. The server ooffered a lobster addition to the fixed menu. We declined. She also said lobster bisque could be substituted for clam chowder at no extra charge. It turned out that there was a surcharge for the bisque. I thought that was pretty cheezy for such an upscale place. Since it was restaurant week, we got a good deal. But I will have to think very hard about going there at full price. I have done the full price route in the past and don't think I will do it again--not much bang for my retitee's buck."
