"Went out for a nice romantic evening with my wife. The service was top notch and the food was exceptional. The food & wine pairing that was suggested by the staff was on the money. Couple that with the ambiance of having a nice, cozy corner table and this made for a delightful evening. "Absolutely love this spot -- service may be the best in NYC. EVERY time we go they are just simply superb. Food fantastic, it is tried and true for a top-notch lunch, and were we able to rate it above "outstanding", we would ! "I have been to 23 locations of the Capital Grille and the reason I keep going back is the consistent service, quality and atmosphere. The staff are highly professional and friendly. The food is always good and the restaurants are all a little different and special. The Wall Street location happens to be one of the nicest of all the locations I have been to."

"A good CG experience. The most obvious criticism is the lack of signage as well as the designation of address on the web site. The address is listed as 120 Broadway yet the only entrance is on Nassau, a full city block east of Broadway. Lower Manhattan is a contiual construction zone, but we walked almost entirely around the block before finding the poorly marked entrance. May be acceptable to Wall Street execs, but very difficult for any one arriving by car or from out of town on foot."

"The food was wonderful -- my friend and I each had the "Cobb" salad and shared a chocolate espresso flourless cake slice. And the service was outstanding. Our waitress, Sarah, was excellent -- accommodating (making sure my meat was cooked properly), gracious and efficient. The front desk staff was also excellent -- welcoming and, very important to me because I am hard-of-hearing -- gave us a booth upstairs in the back so that it was quiet. An excellent experience!"

"Unless you are wearing a suit & are with a large Wall Str group whose company is footing the bill, don't expect service. The food is undisputedly excellent. However, this is the 2nd time that my husband & I have been there mid-week, where we were simply ignored because the waiters were too busy tending to the Wall St "big shots." Our appetizers & soups came promptly. After waiting 45 min after the 1st course, we inquired about our dinner. They brought my husband's dry aged ribeye, & as the waitress was setting it down on the table, she said to me, "I apologize, but we ran out of 2 lb lobsters, so we are making you two 1 lb lobsters instead." Unacceptable - especially knowing this ahead of time & waiting to tell me until it was too late."

"Attentive server but lady delivering bread and pouring water acted like she was doing hard time, and seemed eager to fill and I mean fill our water glasses so she could empty the bottle of San P and get another one. Good wine list to accompany the steaks. Grille is one of my favorites for a steak. Porterhouse is excellent. We were a group of 4 on a Saturday night and the Grille was pleasantly quiet, compared to weekdays I've been there and the Wall St crowd is there talking loud and doing deals"

"While Capital Grille would imply excellent grilling, the steak was underseasoned, over done, and not enjoyable at all. The sides on the other hand were pretty good, the lamb chops were made very well, and the tuna was actually pretty big but also bland. Place was really quiet and had ample space. Overall it was good, but I've had better, I think I will pass next time."

"Everything was good except one thing. My wife ordered a 2lb lobster, and the restaurant tried to pass off a tiny (maybe and just maybe a 1.25lb) lobster as 2 lbs. Very poor way to conduct business, and we will not be returning."

"The restaurant is too loud for my taste. While the food and service were very good, but the meal was so expensive that I could only give the meal a "fair" rating. While it may be that the cost was equivalent to its peers, that would just mean that NYC is just too expensive for me and I'll stick to Washington DC restaurants."

"What I think I like most about the Capital Grille is the expectation of consistency. While it might be a bit pricy for some, the food and the service are quality and usually very good. Neither is disruptive to your visit with a colleague or friend, which is the part I like most. A seemingly rare quality in restaurants. In addition, there is plenty of space at the bar area if you want good food but are alone. They seem to have plenty of side places/rooms to tuck larger groups or private meetings."

"I always have a great experience at Capital Grille - Wall Street. The staff is super friendly and pays attention to detail. I love that they constantly come to check up on me and my guests just to ensure that we are enjoying our meal.
