"not typical of what we encounter on a visit to this restaurant. i didn't like our table for 5 in the bar area. the dining room is so lovely, felt like we were banished! salads to start were good as was the bread basket. menus were delivered with listings of at least 3 items not available. 4 of us chose the special short ribs as waiter indicated this was the best choice. ick! served with tasteless risotto.. a big disappoinment. other diner chose swordfish from the regular menu and seemed very pleased. we will chalk off to a bad night in the kitchen."

"I had been here a numbr of years ago and didn't think much of the food. Things have changed! The food was very good and the service was excellent. Just a mile from home, I'm so glad a friend convinced me to try Panico's again. The folks at the bar were a little noisy - ans this was on a week night!"

"The high points were the watercress salad as an appetizer and the ossobucco (the house specialty) as an entree. Both were very good. The seafood crepe with strawberry cream sauce (yeah, really) was an interesting appetizer, but not fantastic; I just had to try it, and I'm glad I did. The grouper entree was overdone and with little flavor. The desserts were disappointing, a peanut butter bombe with virtually no peanut flavor, and a chocolate mousse that was essentially a large chocolate cupcake with a bit of a mousse filling."

"A little on the pricy side but very good food, excellent service, nice entree selection and options. Overall a very good dining experience. Have been there several times over the past few years and haven't been dissapointed. Will return in the future."

"Reservation not accepted for early bird that was OK'd on the phone. Questioned like a prisoner. Who did I speak to? I don't memorize names of staff members at restaurants."

"We went out for my girlfriend's birthday and had a delicious meal complete with wine & dessert. The service was perfect, there without being overbearing. The only thing that I didn't think of was the parking situation in New Brunswick on a Saturday night but even that turned out OK when they reopened the parking lot across the street."

"I booked my reservation on Opentable and received a confirmation email minutes later. When my party and I arrived at the restaurant the host informed me that he did not have my name on the list. When I showed him my confirmation he scoffed and told me it takes 24 hours for reservations made online to be confirmed. I use Opentable regularly and have never had an issue prior to this. The gentleman told us to wait until he could free up a table, but there were at least 5 open tables. Several groups came in after us with reservations made at the same time who were seated right away. Our waitor was pleasant and the food was alright. Neither made a big enough impression to dine at Panicos again. The host at their pizzeria has more manners!"

"Went for valentin's day dinner Was prix fix meal 65 per person. My wife ordered fish that came out lukewarm at best. We sent it back and they nuked it to heat it up. Had to ask for water twice. Place was pretty empty so no reason for poor service. They also added 18 percent to bill which was a nice tip considering I ordered a nice bottle of wine. Will not be back anytime soon. I guess I should have known better then to go out on a holiday."

"Menu was nothing specia. It took us awhile to find something on the menu we wanted to eat. We thought everything was pretty expensive and definitely overpriced for what we ordered and the portions we were served. The food tasted just okay, again nothing to write home about. The restaurant was pretty but just nothing stood out to us as special. The service was good. The waiter suggested a good bottle of wine that wasn't too pricey but most bottles of wine were quite expensive. My family will not be returning to this restaurant or would I recommend it to anyone . Sorry!"
