"Live music, great food, pleasant staff,what more can you ask for? I had a great time celebrating an anniversary with my love. The champagne toast on the house was a very nice touch. They were attentive, food came out relatively quickly despite the mass of people being served. The food was awesome, my eyes rolled back in my head a few times :-). The live band was captivating and had me dancing in my seat then later on the dance floor. Very nice venue."

"Very lively place, the live band was excellent! The crowd was mature, mainly folks over the age of 30 and up which gave SOB's a sense of class. The food was delicious and the service was great as well. Good to go to after work or for a nice dinner event."

"We went to SOB's Easter Sunday brunch. The service was wonderful. The waiter was attentive and the hostess actually came by right after we'd sat down to offer to move us to a different table that had a better view of the band, which was nice. And the band was great - very talented and energetic. Along with the unlimited sangria (tasty, potent, and refilled frequently), It made the experience fun and memorable. The location itself is okay, but not particularly impressive. You can definitely tell it's a restaurant by day and a club by night. My pumpkin soup and frittata were both great, but my boyfriend found his chicken to be bland. Otherwise, we had a great time and will definitely go back!"

"SOB'S has been consistently serving and entertaining the downtown NYC brunch and dinner crowd with delicious well presented food, friendly no-attitude service, and an impressive line up of the most talented musicians. All this at very reasonable cost. Most people would think that a music venue like this would serve sub-par food at exorbitant prices, no, not in this case!"

"I have come here several times and I always try something new when I go and they do not dissappoint. I will continue to come here. keep up the good work. The 3 course brunch is good and you can not beat that price $28.99 with unlimited sangria. This time around I had the butternut squash soup, cuban club and flan. All were delicious. The live music is also a plus!"

"Due to snow storm nemo, there were not many people around, leading to a bit of a boring atmosphere/. Barely any tables were occupied, no one would dance to the brazilian live music (which is fantastic and really authentic btw), but I've been there before and SOBs is a really cool place and is tons of fun on saturday nights. I haven't been to any of the other nights, but the brazilian is very authentic and the food is absolutely fantastic."

"Myself and two girlfriends went to SOBs on a Saturday night. I had the BBQ Salmon and it was to die for!! Seasoned very well and moist. It was served over a bed of spinach and a corn arepa. The live band was playing and people were taking to the dance floor.
I will warn you that they do charge you a music fee of $7 for all reservations after 7pm. Overall I had a great time and would definitely go back."
