"Attended a conference in the city and after using tripadvisor to find a good restaurant, set out for Lemongrass Fusion Bistro for sushi. The ambiance is quite good, the menu items such as their pad thai looked great and all the other diners were over the moon about their choice. Which is why I recommend to order only from their menu items, skip the sushi. While my sushi plate looked fantastic, the avocado was firm in the rolls and the sushi rice was not as soft as I have come to love. The service was great, the manager was very nice, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It is on High Street, the place to be seen."

"The chairs, hate the chairs . . . the chairs have such a cheap feel and are hard to maneuver on the floor there. The FOOD is outstanding and the service was excellent, but the chairs."

"Had a good meal there with an out of town guest this past weekend. Service was excellent, food was quite good. The seared Tuna was fantastic, the Pad Thai was decent (too sweet for my taste and almost more bean sprouts that noodles). Server was attentive, great energy, not too loud or busy to have a good conversation with someone across the table. Will be back."

"Columbus is not, in my experience, a foodie kind of town. There are plenty of decent restaurants, but I'm still looking for a great one.
That said, this is definitely above average. Good asian fusion with many interesting, idiosyncratic touches that keep it interesting. Definitely a keeper."

"I've eaten at lemongrass many times and always enjoy it. This time I was a little less impressed than usual. The server was nice but seemed a little inexperienced (dropped things and seemed nervous, needed to come back to clarify our orders a couple of times) but service was adequate and nothing I would complain about. I wanted a lighter meal do i ordered the lemongrass soup which was wonderful. I also ordered spring rolls and the Thai peanut salad with chicken neither of which impressed me but they were ok. I know that I live many if the other items on their menu so when I go back I'll order those. (You can't love everything right?). They had live piano music while we were there. The pianist was really good though it was a little loud."

"I had the cashew chicken and asked for a little spice. It was wonderful. I ate every bite. I've been to this restaurant 3 or 4 times and every time the food was very good."

"I've been to LemonGrass several times and I'll definitely go back because I do like the food. It's fresh, flavorful and seems healthy. I was a little disapointed that the happy hour prices are only for the bar even though the bar and the restaurant seating area are both in the same room and literally a couple feet away from each other. The Ambiance is nice - warm and inviting yet trendy - the chairs aren't the most comfortable for long periods of time but they're ok for an hour or so. Service was very good."

"The happy hour appetizers are outstanding, as are the drinks (it has been a week and I am still dreaming of the stuffed portabella). Lemongrass Salad with Salmon was mouthwatering and seasoned perfectly. Our bartender/waiter was the very finest server in the city. I have never had such an attentive person waiting on me before."

"We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was EXCELLENT. Nice menu with extensive choices, really hot when served. Nice wine list. In the trendy Short North area. Loved it and will go back. Service was great and owner's wife chatted it up with us!"

"In Columbus for weekend and my wife decided at last minute that she wanted to go to Short North area at prime dinner hour. Two restaurants had wait times of 2 hours. I jumped on OpenTable and found a spot at LemonGrass in 45 minutes. The neighborhood was packed! Parking was almost impossible, so I let my wife off at the restaurant while I took another 10 minutes to park. LemonGrass was busy but she was seated promptly. Service was not 5 stars, but I think that was beacuse of the crowd and time to get drinks and food. Our waiter did the best he could. Food was fanatstic! Sampler appetizer, cajun scallops, and a shrimp pad thai....all looked and tasted great. This was a fun spot if you want high-energy and alternative to steak."

"The host was able to meet my request to sit near the piano so I was very happy. The piano music is my favorite part of dining here. The food was good as ever but we had an extremely long wait for the entrees. The waitress was gracious and explained that their sushi bar was busy and appoligised several times for the wait. We were in no hurry and were haing a nice romantic dinner and conversation so it was ok."

"Food and service have been much better in the past. We put in an appetizer order that took nearly 30 minutes to come out. We hardly had enough time to eat the first course when our main courses came out. They were cold and had clearly been sitting for a while. The server forgot about our drinks until we had to remind him. He tried to blame the kitchen for our food being slow but either way, the cold food was hardly acceptable."

"The atmosphere was wonderful with piano playing in the background and well decorated. However, the food was not special, the dishes didn't have the balance when all the components of the dishes were put together. The chef should taste the dish as a whole. The dishes felt heavy handed, and not well thought out. Also, if one would expect the vegetables to be sliced fresh or recently. The garnish was dry as if it was sliced that morning or the day before. I understand that restaurants plan ahead, but it should be kept soaked so it looks and taste fresh. If you are looking for a great evening for a special event, lemongrass is great, but don't expect mind blowing food that make you want to lick your plates."

"We have had many, many wonderful meals at Lemongrass; unfortunately this was not among them. The food was tame, and the service - though well-meaning - was, well, unprofessional."

"A restaurant that was! A few years back, this was a very good restaurant with good food and service. Those days are gone. Most disturbing was the constant interruption by the waitress, who not only rushed the service, but cam over at least 15 times to ask if we needed anything, over and over again. I asked her to stop coming over. Within 5 minutes she shows up again, says she know we asked her to back away, but she wanted to tell us about the deserts. We ordered immediately after we received our drinks in order to have peace and start our conversation. Well, our soup came in about 3 minutes, with the appetizer. Soup (Lemon Grass), dumplings were horrid slimy grey things. Well, 3 minutes later, out comes the entree. Pad Thai - more like slop"

"The service was very friendly and attentive but everything else was a hot steamy pile of garbage, to start off, they water down and/or put cheaper liquor in their top shelf liquor, now I am a vodka man and I know when I order Chopin, I expect it not to taste like skol or Smirnoff. Before I could even get halfway done with my drink our food ( scallops for me and shrimp for the missus) arrives almost immediately, it tasted like it was microwaved plastic and our greens were lukewarm. Overall the food was gross and do not recommend this FUSION of garbage"

"We had a great experience at Lemongrass! We had both the chicken pad thai and several sushi rolls. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer and had cocktails and the New York style cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was lively and fun for a Saturday nigh!"

Took my 89 year old parents out for a nice meal, were treated very nicely. Great wait staff, delicious food, good portions (not too big, not too small). Had lemon sole, nicely done with baby bok choy, good corn soup and salad. Mom had crab and salmon cakes with linguine, Dad had chicken zucchini curry, not too spicy. Altogether a nice casual/upscale dining experience."

"The food tasted ok, but for the price, you get barely anything. The duck order for $21 was one duck breast (maybe it was 2 but you could barely tell if it was) with some wilted spinach as the side. I also got chicken, $18, and you get 1 chicken breast. The food wasn't phenomenal to justify the price. Save your money and go somewhere that if they charge this much, at least gives you more. I was extremely disappointed."

"Very enjoyable evening. Our server was very informed about the menu and accurately described the items and was able to accomodate my request for more spice. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai, spicy, which was delicious. We also enjoyed the appetizer sampler. The prices were reasonable for the quality and the atmosphere. We will return."

"My husband took me to our first visit to Lemongrass Fusion Bistro on Valentine's Day. While we waited over an hour to be seated, even with a reservation, it was well worth the wait. The food was absolutely spectacular from start to finish - beautiful and delicious. The best spring rolls I have ever eaten! Great Pad Thai and my husband was very pleased with his Champagne Duck. I was far too full for dessert but my husband talked me into sharing the Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate dessert. Oh my...what a fabulous way to end a great meal. I must also mention the service staff were kind, attentive, and efficient. I have recommended Lemongrass to friends and family already and we will definitely be back."

"Celebrated Valentines's Day at Lemongrass, first time at restaurant. Pleasantly surprised, quite large inside. I had the steak and lobster special and a martini recommended by the waiter. My husband had pad Thai, a house special, and he loved it. We will definitely return to lemongrass in the future."

"Haven't been to Lemongrass in years. Went for Valentine's dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. Delicious food, good wine. Only slight hitch was the wait for a table - even though we had a reservation. I'm hoping it was only because of the crowd on this night. But the place was packed and had a great positive vibe. Will definitely go again soon!"

"Their lemongrass soup and their biscuits (like a doughnut) are wonderful. We ate there once before for lunch and twice for dinner. My daughter loved her Pad Thai, but my duck was a bit tough and the sauce was overwhelmingly salty. My husband's curry chicken/zucchini was underseasoned. The ambiance was waaaaaay too noisy. We were seated in the back, so I think all of the noise in the place (including a pianist) was bouncing off the walls in the back. I would recommend the lunch menu over the dinner menu. We loved the wrap sandwiches and the lunch menu overall is better suited for us than the dinner menu. There's an awkward layout when you first walk in to find the host station, although they just remodeled."

"Good food, and likes the atomosphere, but it looks like they booked to many people and then they tired to rush you out of there. They tried to make us take of dessert to go and ask to box our food while we were still eating. Plus the service wasn't the best."

"As a part of Restaurant Week, my husband and I along with another couple decided to try Lemongrass' $25 fixed menu. We were all completely satisfied. Service was outstanding. Food was excellent; very flavorful. Sampler platter with spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and chicken satey was simply delicious. The salmon entrée was a very large portion, yet we had no problems eating all of it because it was so delicious! And the chocolate, chocolate, chocolate was scrumptious! What a perfect place to bring friends or out-of-town guests. No one would go away hungry nor disappointed!"
