"This was the worst place I've been to in Irvine to date..
We arrived on time for our 7pm reservation, and the food arrived at 8, and the restaurant was almost empty.. terrible service/organization.. they claim 'all guests arrived at the same time' ??
I ordered soft-shell crab, which had to be eaten as quickly as possible because the floury batter was so hard I was afraid it would be inedible if it got cold.. This came served with a salad with thousand island dressing.. wow
The prices are also not worth the value..
Needless to say, no more reservations at this place for me..
OpenTable this is a big miss for you guys.. this restaurant doesn't deserve to be on your 1000-point table listings (or even on your listings at all!)"

"First time to this restaurant, Chakra is located within a small shopping center directly accross the street from UCI, the interior decoration makes you feel that you're in an Indian restaurant, I ordered the rack of Lamb and my wife ordered a chicken curry dish. The Lamb came with a bed of curry Spinch which was very good, I've never tasted anything like it before! The Lamb was good, but a bit fiberous and tough at times, my wife's chicken curry was excellent. We also ordered some of their Garlic Flat bread which was good as well, but not a lot of Garlic flavor. I would return to this restaurant, becuase overall it is very good!"
