"Our overall experience of this restaurant could be on the low side because of the huge crowd in town for the ky derby, I think it could and would be better on a less crazy weekend. But still, though not overwhelmingly awesome, it was a nice evening with good food."

"Absolutely exceptional service, Andy was the perfect, professional and personable server with his timing and suggestions. Rack of Lamb cooked to a med rare perfection, French onion soup perfect, crème brulee very good. I would drive the 75 miles again for this meal. Definitely for special occasions or if you've hit it big in the casino!"

"Went for a romantic dinner with wife. There was a large noisy group near us. Luckily they left after first half hour. Beer selection was very limited.
Started with shrimp cocktail and bruschetta . Bruschetta was good. Shrimps were jumbo and I find sometimes when shrimp are too big they tend to get tough, which was the case here. Wife had the filet and it was excellent. I had the sea bass. It was overcooked and had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while, which I know because I could see it in the open kitchen concept. Also very salty. I should have sent it back, but was having a nice dinner with wife and did not want to cause any trouble. I work in the industry and know that everything is not always perfect. Dinner not worth $145"

"Our food was fantastic! The shrimp cocktail was some of the best that I have ever had. The steak was cooked perfect. The only done side was the service, she wasn't horrible but she wasn't good either. We had issues with prebussing at our table, she finally removed it once we stacked it all up. I wish we could have had the peach cobbler for dessert, it takes 35 minutes to cook, at least thats what the server claimed. Maybe the servicing staff could offer that dessert while taking the dinner order. The menu's that were offered where very nice with the back lighting. The candle at our table was never light, that was sad because we were celebrating our anniversary. All in all we will return because the food is outstanding!!!"

"I was very excited about dinner at Binion's and unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. This is a fairly expensive steak house, along the lines of Ruth's Chris, and that is what I was expecting. What we got were cold sides, mediocre service and average entrees. Bar service, however, was excellent. We had a drink there before dinner and both bartenders, Mark and Michael, we friendly and attentive."

"Enjoyed a delicious meal and special dining experience last Saturday at Jack Binions. Food was expertly prepared and service was presented at the same level of expertise. After declining dessert, we were pleasantly surprised with incredible chocolate-dipped strawberries. All four members of our dining party were pleased with their dinners, all steaks were prepared to order. I recommend choosing the creamed potatoes over the baked, better to mix in the roasted garlic served as relish with the steaks. We will make this our new go-to for special occasion meals!"

"Me and my now husband have been going to Jack Binions for our birthdays for 4 years now. We both love it so much! Now that we are married we are excited to add our anniversary to the list. The prices are a little high but completely worth every penny, its just not something we can afford all the time. "What an Outstanding restaurant to celebrate out 12TH Wedding Anniversary! The food was served hot, and my Chiian Sea Bass was the best I've ever had! Not to mention the Angelic creme brulee!! It was sooo good, I almost licked the plate. The servers and waiters were amazingly talented and you could tell they were doing what they do best, taking care of the customer! Definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a great place to celebrate any occasion! Great ambiance and low lighting with candles on the tables! "It's been hit and miss. First time the oysters weren't very good, but shrimp cocktail was. Second time, other way around. Oysters were great, shrimp was not. Third time, the filet steak was way overlooked. They took it back, brought another and it was practically rare.
We enjoy going to a nice dinner and hanging out at the casino for a bit. And there's a lot of things will really like; very friendly staff, good wine list and menu choices, good soufflé. For the most part, the service is good but the third time the waitress hung out at the bar with a gentleman most of the time. She also involved us in her conflict with the cook.
We will go back. We just know not to high expectations."
