"Good food, great service and nice atmosphere! I had the roasted beet and avocado salad with a light vinaigrette and it was so delicious. My one friend had pan seared scallops served over Parmesan & asparagus risotto & the scallops were perfectly cooked. My other friend had salmon and he said it was incredible. I will definitely be going back. Our server was super friendly, which just added to the dining experience."

"Easy walking distance to the Pantages and the Arclight makes this a good pre/post theater/movie choice. Good food, pleasant atmosphere, full bar. Really, what more can you ask for? It can be a bit noisy inside. The small, rear patio is quieter, except when there's a large group out there. It's a great place to be that large group though."

"Good food - not fancy but very tasty. Enjoyed the artichoke appetizer, cobb salad, hamburger w/ sweet potato fries. Valet parking $10 for the evening. 2 block walk to the Pantages Theater...especially perfect after the show when we need to stretch our legs."

"Really had a good meal at Magnolia! I don't like to eat a lot of carbs late in the day, so they were very accommodating to substitute sesame seed encrusted seared tofu for mashed potatoes. They also subbed kale for spinach, just because I love kale and prefer it to spinach. That, along with the seared tuna, was exactly what I wanted, and I thoroughly enjoyed it."

"this is probably one of the best restaurants in walking distance to the Pantages. We had a wonderful meal. I would recommend the cheese plate and you must have the ice cream cookie for dessert. The entrees were very good as well (especially the tuna and wasabi mashed potatoes), but nothing can overshadow the Cookie. :)"

"My girlfriend and I had an early dinner there before seeing Beauty and the Beast at the Pantages. Ambiance was nice and service was good but not great. Overall, food was quite good. I had the hamburger which was excellent with a really nice bun. My girlfriend had the lobster ravioli which she loved. On the whole, it was a great meal and I'd come back again before a show."

"Excellent birthday celebration here! The food was delicious and the drinks perfect! I had the Halibut special and it was light and flaky. It was full of flavor and very filling. The scallops are always well prepared & flavorful! The drinks were tasty and not too strong or weak! We tried all of their top sellers and everyone was as good as the other. Teddy, our waiter, was attentive, witty, and personable! Our only complaint is that his shift ended before we were done - we missed him when he left! It's a great spot & I highly recommend it."

"Honestly,
This night included one of the worst dining experiences. Mediocre food is acceptable for me if the service is at least okay. I wanted to have a nice night with my boyfriend (our night was ruined due to this one simple aspect), but our server never greeted us, introduced herself, smiled, showed patience, told us the specials, said please or thank you, nor did she ever check on us. Everything was black and white. In fact, the first thing she said was "What would you like to drink?" Then, "do you want to start with an appetizer?" "Are you ready to order yet?" It was just not acceptable. She treated the table next to us like a server should; she was kind and smiled, told about the specials and met the bare minimum standards"

The roasted brussel sprouts were delicious and so were the mashed potatoes. Prices are reasonable and our waiter couldn't have been nicer or accommodating."
