"Slow Club was excellent. Scrumptious food with interesting combinations and potent and eloquent cocktails. Fantastic service and wonderful personality, made it the perfect spot for a pre-art opening dinner."

"Good food, although the grilled tuna was a little dry. The flavor was still great. Service got a slow start but was adequate."

"The restaurant was loud it was almost difficult to hold conversation, the service was good but a tad slow, and the food was fantastic. I had a sirloin steak with carrot puree, could not help raving about it for the rest of the night."

"I have never tried their menu and lunch, but their brunch is to die for. Food is truly delicious and made with fresh ingredients (if I am not mistaken their produce is local and organic as much as possible). The drinks are also great! They tend to be pretty meaty with their meals, but for the most part they are happy to make slight modifications for those who don't eat meat. I always have a great time there, and friends always love it."

"Always great food, well prepared, tasty, but the noise levels seen to keep getting worse. Not the place I'd recommend for a business discussion. Better to just eat and drink!"

"We were a big group, about 12. A few people showed up late, and we had multiple bills. Our server was patient, knew when to ask us what we needed, and, he separated out all the checks for us. He was amazing!"

"I have been going to the Slow Club on and off for at least 8 years and the food is truly delicious and reliable. Their bar serves quality drinks and their staff is always pleasant and accommodating. If i lived near it I would be there even more."

"Initial service a bit off and had to wait and eventually ask for second drink watching it sit on bar for 5 minutes. But food awesome and second server fantastic. A consistent fave on our list."

"The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the pork loin with farro and roasted strawberries--absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable for a city restaurant. Would go back in a hearbeat! Also, Slow Food is near Z Space theater where we went after dinner."

"An off-the-beaten path brunch pick that is surprisingly busy on the weekends, yet not as insane as most of what is on valencia. Quick service, the menu has just the right amount of old favorites with a modern twist. I love coming here and will continue to patronize Slow Club and its sister restaurant Serpentine"

"Had to go to business in this part of town and went to the Slow Club based on the reviews on Yelp. The non-descript facade gives way to a cute little space, well laid out and with a varied and affordable menu. The food is of excellent quality. My guest and I had the pizzetta/panini (I forget the exact name in the menu), the burger, and the butterscotch pecan pie with an espresso finale. Everything was delicious and served by a friendly and efficient staff without being obstrusive during my business lunch. Loved it!"

"This is the first time everything was exactly right at Slow Club. It's always been great in the past, but with small issues (waiter w BO, broken seats). This time was excellent. Will definitely come again."

"A group of us had dinner on a saturday, we liked the arugula salad, steak and yellowtail. The pork tenderloin was not the best, but a large portion. Reheated leftover pork was better. Everyone thought the cocktails and desert were good, and great service. Three and a half stars"

"Amazing cocktails as well. The menu changes up just enough to keep coming back. Sometimes the vegetarian options on the dinner menu are really lacking. But other than that it's great."

"We arrived a half hour early, intending to sit at the bar for a while. They were able to seat us right away while we waited for a 3rd member who was going to be late. Quick service, liked the wine selection though I wish there were more wines by the glass. Bread and olive oil showed up immediately. Australian waitress was very attentive. Had the charcouterie plate, great meats and cheeses and toasted bread. My entree of linguine with pork sugu and lamb and grated lemon was excellent. After the third member arrived and tasted mine she immediately ordered it. Sirloin steak with asparagus, ordered medium rare was perfect. Chocolate mousse cake was split for the 3 of us.
Will definitely return."

"It's been a year since I last visited the Slow Club. Food, still outstanding. A bit noisy but we were luck to have a table off to the side near the wall. Seemed to absorb some of the noise and we could actually have a conversation. The waitress seemed to forget us a couple of times and she did not bring my second drink order until I reminded her. Excellent martini though. One of our dishes arrived later than the others (pasta dish, which should not happen..). Good/nice thing was they comped this because of the delay. Made up for it.
Cheesecake and chocolate cake, definitely. Overall, still an excellent place to meet friends, drink and eat..."

"First time here for brunch on Saturday. Energetic vibe, neigborhood find. Food was a little slow, and towards the end the dining room was very smoky due to the open plan space. Otherwise fun place for brunch in the neighborhood."

"Even by food-obsessed SF standards, a superb and innovative restaurant. We sat at the bar and were mesmerized by James, who demonstrated why not every bartender is a genuine mixologist. Anything that was not very good was excellent."

"Have been going there for several years now. The brunch menu is fresh, simple but delicious . Service is sometimes weak but the last visit(Monday) the waiter was on top of things. Over all, a nice place to go to which is why I keep going back."

"The service was awful. When our waitress finally came to our table, as we were about to order she left to "say hello" to some other people. When she finally took our order, she forgot one person at the table. Flagging her down was unsuccessful, so I had to go find her and tell her he hadn't ordered. No real vegetarian options on the menu besides salad. The cocktail was delish, but otherwise, would not go here again."
