"Enjoyed our meal but as young 40-somethings, we felt a bit out of place. Our waiter was a bit stuffy and not terribly friendly (it was our 10th anniversary and he barely acknowledged it). I think I would have preferred a more eclectic menu, but that's not the restaurant's fault. I should have chosen better. Food was definitely good (beef carpaccio and salad appetizers, lamb for my husband and chicken for me) but not over the top as I'd been expecting."

"The lobster bisque alone would bring us to Walters. Add the delicious wine and the perfectly cooked filet Oscar and you can't go wrong. We like the warm welcome we feel whenever we go. The quality of the food is outstanding. The service was excellent."

"Oustanding dining experience all around. Dined with six friends - excellent serve and food. Met at the door by the owner who later checked in with us to ensure we were satisfied with our meals. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

"The food, as always, was fantastic! Great place to have lunch. I've been several times with two of my elderly neighbors and they just LOVE going to Walter's for lunch. The food is great and no one makes a big deal out of us just lingering and chatting. Last time we went, we arrived at about 11:30 and left about 4:00!!"

"We got off to a slow start because, I think, after we were seated, we were not assigned a server, or there was a mix-up with the server. We were probably there 5-10 mins before someone came and began taking care of us. Once that was straightened out though, the service was very good. Food was excellent. We had the Ahi Tuna Menage a Trois for the appetizer which was excellent. The entrees were the special (blackened fish) for me and the grilled pork tenderloin for my date. Both were excellent. No room for dessert."

"I froze almost the whole time I was there. The owner/manager messed with the thermostat a couple of times and it didn't help. I know other people complained too. The cold air from the front entrance went right to the back room and got locked in there. If I eat there again it will be in Summer."
