Descending the stairs into Lucky's is like stepping through a portal into a swinging hipster lounge straight out of the '50s. Dim red lighting washes a rowdy vinyl-upholstered dining room, which is separate from the long narrow bar. "I went into Lucky's at the recommendation of a few people despite having a reservation, had to wait 45 minutes for a table. I was hard pressed to find a cocktail on their menu that sounded potable and ended up with a sidecar interpretation that didn't even have cognac in it. The sliders were fine but expensive for what you got. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired."

"The drinks were very generous and the food was excellent. The only problem was the extremely loud group of people in the booth behind us. There was one woman at that table who continued to practically scream her cackle the whole time we were there.
Other than that, we would definitely recommend and we will be back!"

"Went for my birthday with the girls and the food was great! The drink menu was diverse and great and the wine list was superb! I had the red sangria and was very disappointed; i wish i tried something else. I would still go back for dinner or just a starting point for drinks. Well done!"

"Ive been going to Luckys for 10 years. I invited 3 friends who had never been there for brunch. Overall we had a great time but we had a horrible waitress. We had to practically beg her to wait on us and her attitude was poor at best. It took 20 minutes for the drinks to come. My fries came out raw. We wanted to order coffee and again it was a chore for her to do this. She never came over to see how things were. It was like we were invisible.
I think management should know these things so they can either address it or terminate her. She really did not deserve to work there.

"My review is more of a warning to others that if you want Lunch then go somewhere else. We arrived at 1 PM and were hoping for a good lunch in the very nice atmosphere of Luckys however the extremely limited almost nonexistent lunch menu drive us out. We never ate. They serve what appears to be a nice brunch menu. That just wasnt for us. We were greeted warmly by our waitress which was great and the atmosphere was definitely cool but the whole lunch thing. Come on now. In summary this is a great joint and i kind of wish we could have stayed for a couple drinks but we were looking for afternoon chow and couldn't get it."

"Had a great dinner experience. The bar was crowded and bustling with energy when we arrived, but had no problem getting seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Our calamari appetizer was terrific. The drink menu was pretty extensive, and while the cocktails I ordered weren't particularly memorable, they weren't terrible either. The dinner was terrific and our dessert was MASSIVE. I would definitely recommend this as a casual date spot on a Friday for a young couple looking to go out. The Frank Sinatra cover band started a little late, but was a nice touch. Would go back in a heartbeat."

"We loved our meal and the staff could not have been more accommodating! We literally had our 89 year old grandmother and 4 year old son with us...and we all had an outstanding meal. Food was AWESOME! My brioche french toast was delicious! I wish I could have finished it. The tater tots were yummy too.

"haven't been disappointed yet with Lucky's -- Sat. night they have band and a Sinatra singer which is a lot of fun. Each of the salads that our group got were good although I would have preferred a smaller Caesar salad. The flavors on the Caesar were nice but couldn't figure out why small figs were on it...hum? I had the kobe beef sliders which were excellent as always...just a wonderful combination of flavors. The other 6 folks were happy with their meal although the tacos were noted to be good not great. Just beware that there is no sign on the building or door with name of restaurant...but there is a menu outside which is your only clue. But finding that clue will make it all worthwhile!"
