"We had come in for Restaurant week and decided to come back and try some items on the Dinner Menu. The Foie Gras Mushroom soup was divine! The waiter Ralph was great at describing the tasting menu so we decided to try it and we were not disappointed!! I have never had Frog legs, they taste like chicken! So good!!
We passed on dessert although we had seen some while the waiters were passing the table to deliver them. They looked fantastic. We will save room next time! I always get coffee and the french press coffee is delicious!! I cannot wait to come back with friends."

"We went for restaurant week, having always wanted to try it but just hadn't gotten around to it, restaurant week was a good excuse.
Every course was amazing, the service outstanding and the ambiance great. We loved the way the restaurant is set up with different rooms so you feel like you're in a smaller, more quaint environment rather than one of many in a giant, noise filled room.
Excellent overall and we'll definitely be back!"

"We introduced our Dutch friends to this restaurant last night and they loved it. Very impressed with the wine list. All savored the scallop soufflé with caviar and wine pairing, along with other delicious courses. The friendly, efficient, professional staff created such a pleasant atmosphere. We finished off the evening in Crush Lounge for a perfect ending to a very lovely evening. Can't wait to do it again."

"We always order chef suggestions, either the tasting menu or the Arizona Restaurant Week menu (if dining during one of those two weeks a year). Then add an 8 oz half lobe of fois gras to split among the table (two, three or four people). During Restaurant Week, we had a scallop mousse course that was like nothing we've ever had before. Touche!"

"We dined here the first night of Arizona Restaurant Week and thoroughly enjoyed it...as usual. Having dined at Christopher's over the years for late night, lunch & dinner it is pretty evident to us that they have their act together in terms of cuisine & service. The number of course options was excellent making us WANT to return AGAIN during restaurant week! Service by Wayne was professional, helpful & responsive...just the way we like it! We were especially impressed with our parting gift of a freshly baked baguette which we used the following night for some delicious sandwiches!! The stroll to the exit was punctuated with GENUINE smiles and well wishes from most, if not all, staff including Chef Gross.......thank you & we'll be back!"

"We are never disappointed and, once again, we had a special dinner. Our waiter provided outstanding service despite having to deal with a difficult group of diners who absolutely refused to be pleased with anything and were confused with everything (the AZ Restaurant Week menu was defined with explicit clarity by the waiter). The wine pairings were original and exceptional, allowing us to try some varietals we may not have ordered otherwise and they allowed the food to shine, contrasting the flavors nicely at times, and complementing them at others. The Mousse of Scallops was exquisite, draped with a subtle lobster sauce. Other entrees were equally memorable. Christopher's continues to provide a peak dining experience."

"I wanted to do something special for my mother on Mother's day. So I took her (and my father) to brunch at Christophers. Christophers offered a Mother's day special brunch that included brioche french toast for my mother and father and eggs Benedict for me. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and comfortable but also attentive, informed, and professional. Its a beautifully designed restaurant. I love the juxtaposition of the contemporary design and modern materials with touches of wood, suede, and orange toned color pallet and lighting that softens and enhances that feeling of comfort. My Mom's smile beamed throughout the entire meal. Thanks Christophers!"

"We had been there only once before and not only did the waiter remember us, the chef/owner made a stop by the table personally to thank us and make sure everything was perfect. And it was!! The food is fantastic, the ambiance perfect for family or romantic situations and the service is impeccable. We will return!!"

"The great atmosphere and fine food we had become accustomed to was overshadowed by a condescending waiter who really acted like we were keeping him from being somewhere else he would rather be. "We made sure to arrive early and have some drinks in the lounge. We enjoyed sitting on the Patio and relaxing before being seated for dinner. The Foie Gras Mushroom soup is amazing! Filet was cooked perfectly and potatoes were delicious. The dining room Is comfortable and coursing is not rushed. Overall a great evening. Coming back to try the Happy Hour Friday!!"

"In a nutshell, there are so many other options available that if a restaurant with these premium prices is not top tier/ five star- the operation then quickly becomes arrogant and pretentious. The server was very disengaged as he rambled specials so quickly as he was looking around at people walking by that I lost interest. No up sell. Terrible value for the money. $170 for two. Will not return. The busser, however, was terrific."

"I recently made dinner reservations through Christopher's Web site and, as a technically-challenged senior citizen, I found it to be amazingly easy. It was a delight to use and I quickly received confirmation by email. After my easy booking, my evening at Christopher's was a completely enjoyable experience. The restaurant is the perfect setting for exquisite food, fine wine and stimulating conversation. The roasted red bell pepper soup is a must, as well as the smoked salmon and caviar. Everyone in my party enjoyed his/her entree very much, and the Grand Marnier souffle was an awesome ending to a lovely evening. I can't wait to do it again. And many thanks to Julio, our server, who took such good care of us. Hope to see you soon."

"This was our first of what will be many visits to Christopher's. With 6:30 reservations on Good Friday, the restaurant was not yet busy. Each staff member was attentive and the decor/atmosphere relaxing. Our food was the true highlight of the evening, starting with an endless supply of fresh-baked bread. Frisee salad was divine; Parmesan-Encrusted Goat Cheese salad deliciously unique! All four of us chose entrees from the daily specials and all were fantastic, including deep diver scallops that melted in your mouth, fresh fish, and lamb shank pizza! Topped the meal off with cappuccino (nicely finished with a biscotti balanced on the cup rim) and by sharing the chocolate mousse. We highly recommend Christopher's for a special treat!"

"I come to Scottsdale twice a year and eat at Christopher's each time. My last dining experience was lackluster. I ordered the scallops with cauliflower and it just did not mesh. Too much cauliflower.
But what was more irritating was the waiter who was too loud, and tried too hard to be funny. He gave the specials in lightning speed as if we were at Ruby Tuesdays or TGF. Not appropriate for a fine dining experience."

"Having read 2 good reviews of this restaurant in magazines, we decided to try it on our recent vacation to Phoenix.We are not sure it was worth the effort of trying to find it-it is not well signposted in the busy shopping center where it is located. Our initial contact was by telephone when we asked for directions and they did not seem to know how to get there from our hotel the JW Marriott in Phoenix! They could have least told us how to get into shopping center. Our server was loud-mouthed and rather obnoxious. Our appetizer of tempura calamari was excessive and could have been shared if John "with all his knowledge"had suggested it.The batter was greasy and the aoli absolutely bland. The meal was only redeemed by our delicious entrees"

"Christopher's Restaurant appears to provide a very comprehensive menu with choices that have a somewhat unique twist relative to the Phoenix area. While one would expect the time investment in dish preparation for a complex menu, the service was slow extending our service to nearly three hours. It may be an abberation, but there were only three to four tables this Tuesday evening. Additionally, I hovered over the 'Notable Wine List' selection before declining to remark about it. Our group's initial two wine selections were not in stock at the time. Overall, the ambiance and food presentation is quite contemporary and pleasant. The food was prepared in an excellent manner."

"Chistopher's is a great place for a reliably good, nice dinner. We had the fois gras appetizer, and the fois gras was great but the bread dulled the taste of it. The truffle frites are amazing, and the truffle infused filet mignon was perfect."

"We dined there for my birthday (for which they bring out a fabulous firework on a dessert.....so fun!) and there was 9 of us. We did split checks but told them ahead of time so they accommodated us without issue. Ed, our server was AWESOME!! He dealt with the group very well, was informative, friendly, knowledgable about the food and wine(which we found a little weird to navigate to find by the glass and the selection was a tad limited. However the food was AMAZING. We coursed it out, started with escargot, then a lobster, arugula salad, then foie gras and scallops. It was 8pm on a Monday so we had the place to ourselves. A perfect experience, EVERYONE had a blast :)"

"The restaurant is set up to provide smaller areas that are quite private and quiet. The service was terrific and the food was delivered quite quickly. The tables are not crowded together and give excellent space. The food was high quality and presented well. The scallop appetizer was undercooked for my taste but we took the remainder home and it was cooked more thoroughly there. It was excellent then. No complaints on the other appetizer, the main course or the desert! Good sized portions, well presented, and excellent taste."
