'Alibi Bar and Lounge is a the loungy space inside Boston's brand-new Liberty Hotel, once the Charles Street Jail. Alibi plays up its former life, with floors that have the original markings where the cells used to be, and solid brick walls that alternate with prison bars. Despite the dark motif, the space is well lit and cozy, with big open windows facing charming Charles Street. "The service at this bar is terrible. The hostess couldn't be bothered to even say hello to me when I came in. This is my third time there and the service was terrible every time. The cocktail waitresses looked annoy when you order. I keep hoping it would get better because it's a nice-looking bar with a nice ambiance. But three strikes, well, you get it. I won't be going back."
