"Nice casual neighborhood place. We went for Wednesdnay night late dinner and it was not at all crowded; oldies music playing. Wide assortment of food and cuisines to choose from; PEI mussels were particularly good. Delicious cocktails and decent wine list. Very reasonably priced for the Times Square area. Will return if staying in the area again."

"Excellent, friendly service with great food. The Cod dish was delicious.. Also perfect dining if your looking for Pre Theater dinner, my friend ordered the Grilled Salmon which was very impressive too. Would recommend & definitely go back next time we're in the neighborhood."

"We all (5 adults) opted for the pre-theater menu. The food was good - not great. The dessert was nothing special. The menu described it as stawberries and chocolate on sponge cake. What came was a piece of chocolate cake with a strawberry and some cream on the side. It wasn't terrible but with all the other options in that area I don't think I'd return. The server, however, was excellent!"

"This is a neighborhood with limited dining choices. You can find all the fast food anyone could want (or not), a couple of upscale places with prices to match, but few real restaurants that are pleasant to sit in and don't break the bank. It's like a somewhat nicer diner with tablecloths and a great beer selection. The food was fresh and tasty, the menu very eclectic, almost weird. But if you want service and a comfortable place to park yourself for an hour at lunch you could do worse. Especially in Times Square South/Garment District environs."

"Jack's is a very reliable choice right next to the Theater District in NYC, just beyond the reach of the tourists. Service is always friendly, never intrusive, and the food - from tapas, sandwiches, burgers to entrees like salmon and steak - is fresh and well-prepared. I love it for pre-theater dinners, and it's great for brunch with friends and business lunches."

"I work close by. It's a great place for lunch and dinner. Service is good and food just as good. Enjoy! Based on time of day, it could be noisy. If you are in a booth, it's better. At the tables, noise level can appear a bit louder. I was at a booth and we were fine... Thanks."

"Great food in an otherwise difficult area of Times Square neighborhood. Group of about 10 women came in and the noise level rose uncomfortably, the acoustics in there are not good with loud people. Luckily it was near the end of our dinner. But food great!"

"Everything was excellent, very relaxed atmosphere. We ordered from the pre-theatre dinner and also had the Pork Tenderloin from the regular menu. The food was great and the service terrific. It was located around the corner from the theatre and I would definitely return. Very enjoyable evening."

"We ordered off the tapas menu. The crab cakes were good - the rest were edible, not terrible. We also ordered a pick three dessert sampler. None of the desserts were fit to eat. The carrot cake was tastleless, the cheesecake had no cream cheese taste whatsoever, and the chocolate cake was so dry you couldn't get it to stay on the fork. Much better places to eat in NYC."

"This is a great find in the zone between the Theatre district and Madison Square Garden -- both places that can be difficult to find a good, dependable place to eat. The vibe is casual and friendly. Perfect for kids. While we expected standard pub fare, the food is more varied and of better quality than we expected. I had a bamboo steamed salmon that was healthy and delicious. My appetizer was tuna sashimi with some kind of wasabi sauce and seaweed salad -- it was fantastic, fresh and spicy. The rest of the folks in my party liked their meals, too. The service was prompt and friendly. They were all festive, celebrating St. Patrick's Day. All in all: good food, convenient location, nice vibe."
