"Tucked away in a corner of an older shopping mall, this place is very easy to overlook, but it's worth stopping in to enjoy the decor, the food and the great service. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion. The waiter brought us cake on the house and guessed whose birthday it was because she was reading a card. Was actually a Mother's Day card but we were impressed at how observant he was."

"We have been meaning to try the Social for a long time. Right around the corner, but due to the unfortunate location never was interested. We've missed out! Delicious food with a great selection and outstanding service. A neighborhood gem in an unlikely place."

"I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal here. Food quality and flavor are / were great. The cost is certainly in line with other places. My only comment would be, the service staff sometimes seems rushed but after firmly telling them that we were in no hurry they were great. I will be back again."

"We had a wonderful dining experience. A group of 8 women celebrating a BIG birthday. We were treated wonderfully & they were very attentive. They accommodated our food restrictions & our tight time schedule. 3 of our guests had never dined here before and are looking forward to coming back for romantic nights with there husbands. Everyone enjoyed the food & cocktails. It was a great start to a great evening!"

"It took a long time to get acknowledged after we were seated. We finally got bread, which was the only good thing we ate. They were serving a price fixed menu...which is very common for holidays in LA. I got the NY and my date got the gnocchi. My steak was extremely tough and absolutely covered in, mostly whole, peppercorns. Everything else was just salty without much nuance. Presentation was about on par with a diner.
I've been to some pretty nice restaurants. So I know what a $100+ meal should taste/look like...and this was NOT it. Any other restaurant in any other town, on any other night, would have charged $30, and would have been equally dissatisfying, but at least I wouldn't be out $100 on bad food, and bad atmosphere"
