"My friends and were pleased with the delicious food. My only disappointment was that the menu changed the day before - and I had decided on my meal from the previous selection. With so many tasty options, it took a while to make a new choice, but it was just as good as what I had anticipated."

"Our experience at The Mahogany Grill was outstanding, this was our last dinner meal in Durango Colorado and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant. They delighted us with some extra's such as a taste of their Hurricane martini's, along with a flatbread cheese, basil and balsamic vinegar appetizer's that were extremely tasty. If we ever pass this way again you can bet The Mahogany Grill will be at the top of our list of restaurants!!"

"Had a great dinner at the Mahogany Grille! Had an early reservation see we could get to the theater and everything was spot on. Great menu; fun and well priced wine list and the service was great. My Halibut was excellent and my wife had outstanding ravioli with butternut squash and veggies. Would definitely go back."

"My wife and I go to the restaurant on many occasions. We have never been disappointed. March 1st, was an evening to be remembered. Our waitress, Breana, made the evening spectacular. Our questions about various items on the food menu as well as the wine menu were met with concise, clear, and to the point answers. She was attentive but not hovering. We were never pushed by up-selling nor out the door. We will tell everyone we talk to in Durango when asked about restaurants to go to Mahogany. The portions were just the right amount. We have friends from out of town and will always bring them here."

"Great location beautiful restaurant and great bar. Service and food however were lacking. We arrived a little early for our reservation and there was no one to greet us, the hostess was busy bussing tables and got to us after about 5 minutes. She sent us the bar to wait till a table was ready and forgot about us. and apparently another couple. our server showed up about 10 minutes after being seated and took our order. The lobster risotto didn't taste like lobster or risotto it didn't taste like anything. My steak was good but was bathed in their sauce which was a little overwhelming and the vegetables were probably salted twice so were inedible. Overall, very disappointing. The Office bar is great though."

"Valentine's Evening: traveling from out of state, made reservations months in advance, husband anxious to try the elk tenderloin. 1:elk loin not on menu, Waiter (Conner)only mentioned the "Valentine Special menu." 2:Never saw Conner again after he served our orders. 3:Ordered spare ribs (since no elk loin), they were the toughest, stringiest meat ever served, 4:an associate wait staff took ribs back and said would send a manager;nobody ever came. 5:Then overhead Conner telling the table just seated next to us about their elk tenderloin special! 6:Finished our other meal and the hostess took the plate, never asking how the meal was or questioning why one of us was without food, just brought the check. Paid $100 check in full with a $5 tip"
