"Took my 22-year-old niece here for her birthday, along with my mother and two of my teenagers. There was something for everyone, from generous-sized individual hearth-baked pizzas, to grilled flank steak with all the trimmings. Special note: the house salad was outstanding, with a beautifully balanced vinaigrette. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and the food arrived in a timely manner. There was a good crowd, for a Tuesday. (It's possible that larger weekend crowds might slow down the service.) We had a lovely experience."

"Had been here once before recently and had a fabulous chicken dijon meal so I was looking forward to having it again but unfortunately they had changed the menu and it was not available. The chicken dish I had was not good :(
Also, electing to sit in the front room next to window, the business across the street had placed huge bags of garbage out front so that was the view we had...not Iron Hill Restaurant's fault but took away from having a window seat."

"It was Mothers' Day, my wife wanted to go out, but not to a place that most people would take their mothers and would be crowded. I was able to get a reservation that morning. The Sunday Night Prime Time special is great: A beautiful cut of roast prime rib of beef, baked potato, broccoli, salad, and a glass of wine or a pint of beer brewed on the premises for a little over $20."

"My boyfriend and I went specifically because it is Burger Month and we wanted to try to South Philly Burger. It didn't disappoint! Our appetizer (calamari) was also really delicious and had a lime cilantro aoili that I've never seen with calamari before but was amazing - very creative and tasty! Creme brulee was for dessert because that is my favorite - its a classic. And looking at the menu - I always forget how many really tasty and creative things are on the menu - I need to go back more often! Of course, I can't not mention that the beer was on point as always too. So many great brews to choose from everytime. And the service was excellent as well. Really nothing to complain about at all!"

"Iron Hill, in general, is never a let down. Food is always top quality, prepared as you like. West Chester, itself, has great ambiance and enhances the experience. Prices are as expected for this level of a restaurant and will continue to patron this place."

"Glad we came on the night when pan roasted chicken breasts were on the menu. Those are our favorite! The table with kids next to us was loud and obnoxious and the kids would not sit down."

"I've always wanted to dine here but the wait times, especially on the weekends, is very lengthy. Making a reservation is your BEST bet!! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was great! My friend and I only ordered appetizers but they were quite large and satisfied us as if we have a full entree. Great spot for groups and game/hang out nights :)
The beer selections are plentiful and fun, so you may taste something you never thought of before and really enjoy it."

"We have visited the Iron Hill in Lancaster numerous times and were looking for somewhere to meet our daughter between Philly and Harrisburg. Friendly competition between the locations as our waiter in West Chester said they had the better restaurant. In my opinion, they are both great! The Sunday Brunch menu was a pleasant surprise and the crab omelet was outstanding. My husband is a big fan of the cheesesteak egg rolls and was not disappointed."

"we always get the prime rib special....the waitress never came back to the table once dinner had been served other than when we were done with the meal.....the restaurant was not that crowded so there is no reason for this."

"We had a late lunch today at Iron Hill. Tracey was our server, and Stacey, on of the new managers, stopped by our table. since we didn't intend to eat dinner, we ordered one of the lunch entrees, seared scallops with spinach and sherry-mushroom sauce. Excellent. If I had known how great the leek, bacon, and spinach side. I'd have asked for double spinach and no potatoes. Scallops were perfect, sweet and tender. Service was excellent. Too few hoppy beers on the menu, but the Ironbound Ale always pleases."

"Business lunch and the place was jumping as usual. My dining companions all settled on different salad's with optional protein (fish / chicken) while I went with the always dependable Turkey burger, one of the best gastro pub dishes from any place around. Our server was friendly, prompt and gave us the proper amount of attention and privacy for our business lunch on this day. We'll be back!"

"A large group came in right after us which was being taken care of by our waiter. The manager immediately came to our table and check on us and got our order in with the kitchen. As soon as our waiter was done with the table, he came to check on us. Great service! They really manage the restaurant efficiently.
Food did not disappoint either. Great selection, good quality and tasty.
Not a big deal, just wish our reservation request for a booth was honored. Had to wait an extra 20 minutes."

"I ate at the Iron Hill Brewery with three other people in West Chester, Pennsylvania, a college town. The food was remarkably upscale for a brewery, and it had a very creative menu. We were all pleased with our selections ranging from appetizers to desserts. Our drink choices ran from beer, wine, a traditional and a house-created cocktail. All were excellent and had multiple choices. The prices are moderate especially for this area of Pennsylvania. There were some young children present, and the restaurant was full (on a Wednesday evening). The noise level was no problem at all. I highly recommend this branch of Iron Hill Brewery and will certainly come again. Make a reservation if you plan to dine between 6:30 to 8:00 p.m."

"My 17yr old Daughter requested this as her Bday dinner location based on a recommendation by a friend. I booked through your service and requested either a "cupcake" or a candle in a dessert. We arrived on time, scoured the menu for anything I would consider eating - the prices were high for the quantity of food. I paid $16 for a burger meal that I could get at "5guys" for $6 and I'd say "5guys" had a better burger. The "fries" were ridiculous - 1"x10" each-really? Am I supposed to enjoy eating a potato ruler? My daughters meal was lukewarm (pasta) my son has a Pulled pork sandwich but didn't like the smell of the "side" of sauce to put on it. The birthday cupcake never arrived - someone elses' walked past when the waitress took our check"

"Consistently good food. Service is good, just don't expect your WCU student server to be able to pronounce charcuterie or recommend beer or wine pairings with your meal."
