In the last four decades Gulliver’s Restaurant has became one of the most popular Prime Rib Restaurant in Southern California. Gulliver’s hand-selected beef (corn-belt) is slow roasted in a unique patented oven system to assure flavorful, tender and juicy Prime Rib dinners. Gulliver's Restaurant is well known also for its other specialties as in-house aged Prime Steaks, Chateaubriand, Salmon, Rack of Lamb, Baby Back Ribs and roasted Long Island Duck. As you walk into a Gulliver's you will feel as though you have entered back in time to 18th century England. Guests at the Gulliver’s are surrounded by a veritable museum of leaded glass pieces, pewter and ceramic objects, and a collection of prints from Hogarth, Rowlandson and other Gulliver’s Travels illustrators. The Portions are huge, the service is gracious and friendly, and most importantly, the beef is cooked to perfection. Gulliver's is place where memories are created.
"My sister and I took our 83 year old Mother there the night before Mother's Day to celebrate with her and two nieces. We all had a wonderful time. The food was delicious!!"

"We live on the Central Coast. We haven't been to Gulliver's in over 15 years. We were picking up our daughter from WIsconsin and wanted to dine at Gulliver's the night before we picked her up from the airport. We enjoy ourselves very much. The food was excellent and the service was great. Thanks for a lovely evening."

"Gulliver's is known for their prime rib but the swordfish I had was excellent too. Not particularly a diet friendly place, but good for a splurge. Our server Rochelle was excellent. Wine by the bottle was very reasonably priced."

"We were disappointed with our experience, it started out fine with attentive service, but is slowly went down after we ordered our first drink. Tables against the wall were not well spaced, making it difficult to get in and out. A very noisy party of four was seated next to us and the enjoyment of the evening went down from there. The Prime Rib (which they are known for) was alright..."

"We had not been to Gulliver's in quite some time as we live out of the area but joined friends for dinner and had a wonderful time. The food was as good as we remembered and the service was too."

"This was my lunch visit. I really LOVE this restaurant for our special occasions and dinner dates.... It was good, but not as great as evening menu/dining. I cannot see why it was not....food was just good, not great."

"We dined on a quiet Monday; the restaurant was about 1/4 filled. Service was outstanding, from the time we walked in until the time we left. Food was good, as always. I had prime rib and my wife had rack of lamb that she said was delicious. She asked for a change of potatoes: no problem. Caesar salad was just OK, I should have had the delicious house salad. Gulliver's has expanded its menu over the years and, while it is still known as a prime rib restaurant, it really has a full menu. Wine list is good, with a few really good deals if you know where to look."

"I went to Gulliver's in the early 1980s in Marina Del Rey and loved it. Then, in 1985, it disappeared. I thought forever. Then I moved to Orange County and, when going to the John Wayne Airport, I discovered GULLIVER'S! I was delighted. Apparently, there were three of them. This one and one in the Bay Area of San Francisco still exist but each is privately owned and notably different in character. The one in the OC was just as I remember it being in the 80s and the food is very good! Service is friendly, casual and great and one can even eat in the comfortable bar area. What a joy to find Gulliver's again after all these years. I feel like I have come home."

"Found the place by mistake the first time and went back for the second time. Great place with a feeling of an old English Inn. If you like fresh & tender Prime Rib withe the perfect color & temperature; this is the place. The cream corn is made with fresh corn off the Cobb and is tasty."

"I am so glad that there is still a Gulliver's restaurant! They have expended their menu for non-prime rib fans, but the prime rib is still the star at this establishment. My husband ordered a steak, which was good, but not as outstanding as the prime rib. It was juicy and very flavorful. The yorkshire pudding was a little overdone for my taste."

"My Girlfriend and I went for Valentines Day. I haven't been to this establishment since they moved from marina del Rey. I was a bit disappointed in the feel of the restaurant because it seemed to be more like a family food center with kids running around. We were taken to the back for a more cozy atmosphere, and the food was like I remembered - wonderful. I would come back another time to dine, but not for an occasion like that."

"Great experience overall on a Valentines evening, no less. I had the prime while the wife tried the duck. Both were excellent; my prime was much better than my last visit and the wife raved over the duck and the red cabbage and twice-baked that came with it. Service was good and the manager stopped by twice - much appreciated, especially on this very busy evening - place was at capacity, but the wait, with reservations, was less than five minutes. And, we highly recommend the Alexander Valley Vineyards, Estate Cabernet (Sonoma) - it was the best cab I'd had in some time. Thank you Gulliver's staff, we truly had a wonderful experience."

"We enjoyed a delightful dinnere of duck and prime rib. The duck was overcooked and the prime rib was not very tender. We enjoyed the experience, but it could have been better."

"Ambiance was nice as the Christmas deco was still up. Waitress was very good, pleasant, friendly & attentive. Love all the copper stuff hanging on the walls, very unique. It captures the look & feel of a nice English restaurant."
