Hakkasan is recognized as the pioneering concept that single-handedly changed the face of Chinese cuisine within the United Kingdom. "This is my 8th trip to Fontainebleau but first to this spot. The service was great and the food maybe better. My wife and I weren't super hungry so we split the duck salad and lobster noodle. Both were great. Highly recommend the crispy duck to start. The lobster is messy and not a good first date option."

The server did one of those little things that let you know you're in good hands.
I was looking for a spicy dish and selected a beef, she inquired about if I was expecting it to be spicy and when I told her I was, she guided me to a chicken dish that she felt would be more of what I was looking for. The impressive part...the dish she took me to was less than half the price of my original selection. I knew than I was being taken care of and not just another table.
All the dishes were outstanding and the top notch service only accentuated the entire evening.

"Delicious food that is extremely expensive, which is why I classify Hakkasan as a special occasion place only. Also, they made us wait at the bar for 35 minutes, despite the fact we had a reservation. The bar is $16/drink and it seemed almost planned that we had to wait and spend an extra $50 on drinks. That said, the table service was flawless with excellent upscale Chinese food. Our evening was very pleasant until we waited over 1hr (!!!!!!) to get our car from the valet. Granted it was a Saturday night, but waiting 60 min for our car after spending a fortune in their restaurant is not acceptable. We had to call a manager, who personally retrieved our car! Go for a special occassion and enjoy the fantastic food, but park on the street!"

"The hostesses, food and service were actually very good. My low rating is based on the manager. After finishing our two hour, $500 dinner for four, the manager asked us to leave because he had many people waiting (about 10 pm). We would had left in a few minutes if he had allowed us to finish our conversation. We live locally and I would have highly recommended the restaurant had the manager not been so rude. Plan to dine and dash if you go on a busy night."

"My third time at this establishment in 5 months. And so far enough dishes are great that it is worth another visit. But - It can be very pricey - the Peking duck (with an unneeded side of caviar) is 200 / two people for example - but it is great great duck. I was initially Wow'd by the dim sum - perhaps after the third time the familiarity took a bit of the wow away. Or they weren't as wow? The wine list is overpriced list with scattered gems - and sadly the one we wanted was no longer. Beer was the more economic choice as a result. Will be back I'm sure. When feeling cash flush."

"Worst Chinese Food I have ever had. Overrated and Overpriced. $14 + Tax + Tip for a small cup of Hot and Sour that tastes like a hot cup of Soy Sauce. Greasy oily food. I mentioned this to my server that this is the greasiest food I have eaten and it fell upon deaf ears. We were celebrating a Birthday and they did not even acknowledge that we were there for a speacial occasion. I have eaten here about 5 times but on this last visit it was my final boycott visit after the bad overpriced food."

"I took my wife and two really good friends here for her 40th BD. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, above & beyond excellent. The front desk was prompt & courteous. The host seated us at a very nice table where we were immediately greeted by Daniel, our server. Daniel was the leader of one of the most outstanding service teams, I've ever had the pleasure or experiencing. Wine recommendations from the Sommelier were excellent, not just a money grab by recommending expensive bottles. The food was perfectly cooked: Peking Duck had a crisp skin and succulent meat, the Chicken Satay had the same crisp skin and delcious meat, the black pepper steak had just the right amount of spices. A phenomenal dining expereince."

"Incredibly LOUD!!! I came with my husband, and another couple. We were seated in the same room with a very large family with about 5 young children. Definitely a mistake!!! We should have asked to move but did not.
As for the food....Very small portions and VERY OVERPRICED!! The food was tasty but not worth the $$$$$."

"we know hakkasan from london and so we knew the excellent and exceptional menu hakkasan offers. and food in miami is of the same superb quality. the interior is also same as in london locations, very stylish and special. however the people are less stylish and of older age compared to vivid london. service at bar was less attentitative, however at table very good. overall a great dining evening at hakkasan."

"Fantastic Asian cuisine. The weekend dim sum is absolutely delicious. Try the pork bun with truffles. For dinner, the Peking duck with caviar is stunning!

"similar to the nyc outpost in look. space is so gigantic, there is no real "atmosphere". the food is good with interesting combinations but the service is quite slow. the mixed drinks were not fabulous. stick to the wine selection!"

"Took our two five-year-old girls for a Friday dinner at 6:00. Our server (Crystal) was excellent. She brought crayons and coloring books for the girls along with special holders for the chopsticks. She was very helpful in making recommendations for dishes. Food was superb. Pricey, yes, but worth it for a special occasion."

"I had a wonderful time. It is safe to say that is was one of the best dining experience my family and I ever had.everyone went above and beyond to ensure that all expectations where met. I would definitely recomend hakkasan and I plan on returning in the near future.
